Had a $14,200 tile roof installed by Desert Valley in 2022 with a "5 Year Workmanship Warranty." Less than 4 years later, sealants on vent pipes their crew applied were already deteriorating. Filed a warranty claim for a $650 repair. Denied. Their general manager admitted in writing that they have no warranty documentation and prefer not to "nit pick" with contracts. Then used that lack of documentation to deny coverage. Their position: the warranty covers how things were installed, but not the materials their own crew selected and applied. I gave them every opportunity to resolve this professionally. They stopped responding entirely. The roof installation itself was fine. But their warranty is worthless -- and they've essentially said so themselves. If a roofing company won't stand behind a $650 repair on a $14,200 job within the warranty period, what exactly is the warranty for? Take your business elsewhere. read more

Victor came out and was great to work with- he did a thorough job and showed pictures of exactly what he found. I never felt pressured to do more expensive repairs than needed. well this is overdue. We were referred to desert valley roofing by another home owner in our peccole ranch complex. They , being the only brown roof as all others are in the shaded white color. We decided to put in for a spanish color scheme and it was approved. From the day they started to finish the crew was here by 6;45 and finished at 3;45 for allowance of cleanup. the guys were excellent, very sweet and efficient. Victor came by on and off and at the beginning to get crew going. Ashly the manager set everything up and worked with us very closely to get into HOA meeting in time for approval. the whole thing went very smoothly, although we have a single story they started on a monday and finished completely the following monday. I was surprised that the forklift was moved to wall across our cul da sac every night so i could park in driveway even though I had permit. I cannot say enough about Ashley, Victor and the 4 guys who did our work. What an excellent team. Victor came by a week after the roof was done, collected the balance And made me some beautiful drone pictures so id have them and show the office. We couldn't have been more pleased, and they worked with us on the price as well as all he other quotes were much higher. Looking for Roofing companies on Yelp, Desert Valley Roofing was one of the companies recommended through my initial search! I called into Desert Valley Roofing and a team member had picked up the phone. I informed her that I was looking for roofing estimates and she had provided an appointment, two weeks later, for someone from Desert Valley Roofing to come out to my house! The team member arrived on time and did a full inspection of the roof. Desert Valley Roofing had recommended a reroof before putting Solar Panels on top of the roof. The paper laid on top is old and worn. The quote was provided several days later from the initial on-site inspection! The quote also provided all steps of what was going to be performed on the house and it also included the warranty! I did thorough research here on Yelp to find a reputable company to do some minor roof repairs after an independent roof inspection revealed some areas needing addressed. About 15 tile replacements, some sealing and a HVAC vent cover replacement. They came out on time within a week to do an estimate. It took 3 days to get the estimate, which was fine (but surprising given technology) and then we scheduled the work for a couple weeks later. We had an arrival window of 11-1pm. The tech arrived at 7:30am with no call. We were unprepared and just getting around. The office manager told us there had been a mixup and she apologized. The tech did the work, we paid electronically and received a receipt. We were promised photos showing the completed work. I followed up once already to get a status and was promised photos yesterday. I still have not gotten them. Still hoping to get them to avoid us having to have the independent inspector come back out to verify the work was done. Would suggest that this company works on their communication/scheduling and follow thru. read more

I cannot speak highly enough about this business. They did everything right which was a pleasant surprise. It took a month to get an estimate because they are insane busy. They are on the high end of the pricing but you get what you pay for. It took over a month after that to get the job scheduled but it was worth it. Once scheduled, they did everything right. They arrived on time. They finished on time. They cleaned up each day. They took good care of my property and pool during the roofing process. There was a couple of small adjustments that needed to be done post the work and they were extremely quick at responding. The work done was very well done and even the solar panel trades commented on how well the re-roofing was done. Always a good sign when trades are complementary of each other's work. The attention, communication and care during the job was absolutely what you want from a roofing company. It has been super difficult to find good roofers to say the least. We reached out to Desert Valley Roofing along with many others and ended up going with Desert Valley Roofing. Ari came out to give us a quote on the cost of reroofing, and subsequently answered lots of questions patiently over email. Ashley at the front desk was also great at communicating and addressed lots of our concerns along the way. They came out to do the work right on the date scheduled, and finished on time in about the estimated 5 days. Halfway through we decided that we would like to install passive vents and whirlybirds and they were also very accommodating - Ari came over and discussed our options, also removed the ugly satellite we no longer want or need. The glowing Yelp reviews of Desert Valley Roofing caught my attention. Although they were more expensive than the other companies I considered, their initial roof evaluation was far more thorough than the others. Their estimator, Ari, inspected the roof and documented the condition of the tiles and underlayment with diagrams and photos. He offered several repair options. That easily clinched my decision to have Desert Valley Roofing repair our roof and the patio cover that was leaking. It took over 2 months before they had an opening for our job because of their workload which was okay with us. It would have been more worrisome if they were available within 2 weeks of the initial roof evaluation! On the project start date, the crew arrived promptly as promised, worked all day from 7 am till 4 pm and was neat and courteous. Mind you, the average daily temperature was 103 degrees! I saw roofers looking through our garden to pick up stray nails that fell from their work on the roof. They used a yard blower throughout the day to keep everything tidy. One could not tell if they were ever here at the end of each of the 3 days! The foreman supervisor, Victor, oversaw the job and was ready to handle any issues that arose. There were none. It was impressive watching the roofing team do their job on our tile roof and patio cover. The material used was top grade and it was clear that they were proud of their work after talking with them. By far the highest price quote... I'm sure they do good work, but didn't see the value in the extra cost.

We developed a few severe leaks in our roof at the beginning of the year. I requested several estimates from many roofing companies. Desert Valley Roofing stood out to me from the beginning. When their technician came out to give us an estimate, he was super helpful. He said he would give us an estimate for if no wood needed to be replaced, and also if everything needed to be replaced. They were the only company to give us a range to help us budget. They were also the only company to provide pictures of problem areas. My husband gets on the roof, but I never do, so I didn't realize how bad it was. They also showed concern for our ac unit, because the estimate had a line about having a professional disconnect the unit. After speaking with Ashley, she gave me clear instructions and helped me understand exactly what the process would look like. They originally had me scheduled for June, but Ashley called me with an opening in May so we could get it done quicker. They had originally told me AC would only need to be down for one day, but when the contractors said they would need it down for 2 days, I called an spoke to Ashley. They got everything sorted out and my AC was only down for one day. The guys were very respectful and helpful. They even disposed of an old swamp cooler we hadn't used in years. They were fantastic to work with. I have no regrets working with them. Not only did they do a fantastic job, but honest, too. I was expecting to replace all the plywood, but they told us that a lot of it was still pretty good. That saved us a few thousand dollars and helped us come in under budget. I have never left a review for a company I did not get work from, but I was so impressed with our initial meeting, I felt I needed to! We are getting our house painted and we need new facia boards. Our paint company recommended Desert Valley as they work hand in hand with them. After our initial meet up and their estimator found out our roof was under warranty, he recommended I contact our roofer. IF they did the work it might void our warranty. MOST companies would have given an estimate, did the work, and left us with a damaged roof no longer under warranty!! I was SO IMPRESSED with Desert Valley's integrity and HONESTY!! Very bad experience with this roofer. Do not recommend. Hired them to repair roof and remove debris. After they came I found debris still on the roof. They argued with me about it before agreeing to come back, and then their technician never showed up. Apparently some emergency (understandable) but the company never contacted me all day long after I stayed home from work. Very poor communication. That's just plain bad service. I switched to a much better and more professional roofer. Proceed with extreme caution if you use this company. Take before and after photos, you may need them to prove your case in the event that they argue with you about whether the contracted work was completed. If this service had before and after photos they would have seen the poor workmanship before I did and immediately rectified it. I would also have expected a call from the owner to explain what happened. Instead I had to bring it to their attention and then the employee never showed to the next appointment to fix the mistakes from the first appointment.. To be clear I was never offered a refund. They could have easily processed one but didn't seem to care about that until I posted a bad review. I don't have the desire or time to argue about this company's poor service anymore sorry. House was built in 1990. Concrete tile roofs last about 20 years give or take. We moved in 2002 So the roof was due to be inspected then. I didn't. Fast forward to 2021. We had a leak that caused some water damage inside the house. Called DESERT VALLEY ROOFING and two other companies for competitive bids. They came in the middle. They were scheduled about 3 weeks out. I asked if they had a cancellation that we could be next. It worked out. Very skilled and hard working crew. Took them 7 1/2 days. They cleaned up each day, no debris around the house. They brought the job in at the estimated cost. Would use them again except I won't need to, for at least 20 years. Easy to deal with. read more

Owning a home can often be daunting when things break within the home, outside of the home, etc... On Labor Day Vegas had a weird quick wind/rain storm, now I don't know if that's what caused our leak or if it was just the storm that finally brought to light our leak. Then the hunt began for finding a company to come out give us an estimate. We got 2 estimates, probably should have got 3, however, in the end chose to go with Desert Valley Roofing. 1) First company came out gave me their estimate, and it was reasonable, and the company also had pretty good yelp reviews. Nothing fancy to sell me that they should be the ones to do it. No warranty offered and if they did offer one, they didn't tell me they did. 2) Second company came out (Desert Valley), and he did something different. Victor gave me 2 options both with warranties. Now the first option he wanted to do the same thing as the previous company, however, was 2x the cost. But then he gave me a second option while almost 4x more expensive then the first, he took the time to explain to me why he suggested the bigger project, etc... In the end run, the more costlier one in a sense was actually the most cost effective one. Our house was built in 84, never had a new roof put on. We went with replacing the entire roof instead of fixing the leak because more than likely more leaks would have sprang up over time, and by then we would have been chasing leaks costing us way more money in the end run. He took pictures that clearly showed the roof was old and needing to be replaced. The office team: Ashley who handles scheduling the work, setting up estimate appts, etc... is friendly, professional, and was nice to work with. At first they advised that work was being scheduled 6 weeks out, but she was able then to schedule it a couple weeks later, and then I got a message, and she asked if she could schedule it 2 days later. I was like yes! Lets do this, get it over with, and out of the way. The team showed up at 7am on Friday the 27th worked a full day til about 430pm, and 5pm on Monday. They then finished yesterday Oct 1st around 3pm. They cleaned up after themselves. When they came to the door, they were polite. Before they started work, they made sure that we did not have a car parked in the garage. While I work until midnight having them here at 7am was rough, but at the same time I was happy to have the work done as soon as possible. Now that it is all said and done it was a pleasant experience, the company is professional, and got the job done in timely, but very efficient manner. Pictures are different spots of the roof, and what the lament looked like after 30+ yrs. It should be a nice flat black color. Just had some roofing repair work done to replace some cracked tiles, repair the flashing, and clear debris. From start to finish I was a great experience. Victor came and inspected the roof a couple of weeks after I contacted the company. He took some great pictures to show me what type of work would be needed. My roof was leaking I needed my whole roof replaced. I called and they sent out an estimator very quickly. The quote they gave me was very reasonably priced and I only had to pay a couple hundred out of pocket as my insurance was covering most of it. They were on time for the job and completed it within 3 days. The ladies at the office were also very helpful as I had a couple questions before they started the job.
