Andrew was honest and straightforward about what actually needed to be fixed and what didn't, which we really appreciated. He also went above and beyond by providing a written statement explaining the issues with the original installation, which helped us recover some of our costs from the previous installers. His pricing was fair, and he and his team took the time to save as much of the existing flooring as possible during removal, which saved us even more money. I hired Jackson Installations again to install additional baseboards after a carpet install. Andrew was able to squeeze my install into his busy schedule since he was working on a major project at the tine. As usual, he and his assistant Carl were very professional and and accommodating and did an excellent job. I had installed some closet cabinets and he was able to install around them to my specifications. I can't actually review the quality of work this guy does because I couldn't get an appointment with him! He came on a Sunday at Noon to look at the job. He said he would send me an estimate via email and that he couldn't do the work that upcoming week as he was booked, but could do it the following week. By 1:00 the following day (Monday) I hadn't received his estimate so I thought maybe the job was too small for him but when I texted him asking if that was the case, he said absolutely not, he's just very busy, and he would send me the estimate "asap". I got the estimate on Tuesday and accepted it immediately. My hope was to make an appointment for the next week before his schedule gets booked. By Wednesday morning when I didn't hear from him, I texted him asking if we could please set up a day for next week to get the job done. He didn't respond until Thursday morning and said "yes, absolutely. I'll let you know which day asap." When I didn't hear from him in a couple of hours I realized this guy was NOT the one to do the job for us and I scheduled an appointment for another roofer to come look at the job. (We now have a scheduled work day/time with them for next week.) Friday morning, out of the blue, Jackson shows up at our house to do the job! Needless to say I sent him away. He actually tried to blame me! This guy is outrageous! What if no one was home? Did he think he could go up on our roof when no one was home??? We did not have an appointment with him. I think it's possible he's too busy and cannot handle it and I wanted others to know our experience with him because stringing potential customers along who need work done is very unprofessional and very inconsiderate! Update: I see Jackson replied here that he planned to do the job on Tuesday. I have all of his texts and not once did he give us a day/time to do the job. If he had scheduled the work there would be no issue!! And you can insult me and lie all you want. Your lack of communication was pathetic. It is what it is. read more

We have wood flooring in our kitchen and hallway that is nearly 30 years old and we hired Andrew to sand and refinish it. Sanding it required more work because original sealer was extremely hard and difficult to remove and it took longer than Andrew expected. He worked very hard on getting that accomplished and after that was done he applied the stain and seal. Andy was recommended by a flooring company that would not do our floors since we had already bought the materials and they would only install the materials that they sold. So we called Andy. He was prompt with his arrival to give us an estimate and we were favorably impressed with that. He gave us a fair price and in fact, his estimate was considerably below some of the others we got from companies who were not as prompt. He told us the day and hour of when he could start. He was at the house on time and ready to work. We had removed much of the old flooring ourselves, but he did the rest and then he commenced to prepare the floor for new flooring. The flooring we chose was laminate to replace carpet and tile and the cement slab it was to go over needed a great deal of prep work. That work was performed with great skill and the resulting installation of the new floor went as smooth as silk. His work was stellar and he finished up on time and without a single "upgrade" price. I would use no one else to install floors for us. He quoted a fair price, he did what he said he would, on time and with excellent skill. How can one ask for more?
