we did a landscape refresh of our backyard, and our landscaper suggested we use Mike if we wanted to refinish the faux rock around our pool. We got a quote from him and he said the project would take 2-3 days, so we decided to move forward with him. after 10 days of him showing up for anywhere between 30 minutes and a few hours per day, he was ready to seal all the rock. The quality of work was terrible. I told him I would not be allowing him to finish and would be hiring someone else. I ended up hiring Rock Pros, and the difference in the quality of work is night and day. And the price was almost the same! Don't hire Mike to paint faux rock. maybe he does good work for other types of projects, but I wouldn't recommend him. read more

He did a sloppy job, concrete not textured but rather slopped on, cracks formed where he did the repairs only 2 months later. He got sooo much paint in my pool when I was very clear about protecting pool, which stained the surface and caused a great deal of time, money and stress. He couldn't even paint the deck properly and he got paint on my home, on the tile of my pool and on the surrounding retaining wall. I couldn't believe the hack job that was preformed. Other contractors have come in to look to give me estimates to fix the problems he created & they all say "wow what a hack job", I was incredibly frustrated, disappointed and stressed from this level of work. I bought an old house and the previous owners had the original driveway concrete. And they had enlarged/widened the driveway to match and join the entrance to the house - which was also concrete.Two different shades of grey and looked 'amateur'. They had also painted the entry alcove concrete peach. Age, hose bib drips, moving men = the paint (which I didn't like anyway) was chunked out & peeling, craters. Painters' bids were machine-rental & sanding off the paint. Handyman wanted to use gasoline to eat it off and asked if the painters were going to seal (necessary). Neither made sense and I read the reviews & comments on YELP under Concrete Repair. This is my EIGHTH HOUSE, not easily fooled and what I read from posters here sounded what I thought would work & last. Mike came, evaluated, suggested, started and was displeased at how the concrete was behaving. He told me what he wanted to do, assured me the three existing mismatched areas would now match. It was a leap of faith on my part (so afraid) and finally, I said to Mike, "You know what I want and I am going to trust you." Mike came back three working days and one take-a-look day until he was happy. And I am happy. I typically do t leave reviews but, Mike has out done himself. I had concrete stain done inside the home. I had stain on the floor already that was old and the color was ugly. Mike was able to restain the floor and create a completely different look. We designed the colors to match the travertine I have through out the home. The stain came out beautifully and shinny gloss. Prior to finding concrete restored/Mike had 5 different estimates extremely fair with his pricing and the quality of work is superb. After being disappointed by another concrete restoration business in town (they completely flaked on the start date even after I sent them a deposit), I looked through Yelp and found Concrete Restored. Spoke to Mike on the phone and he came out right away and met one of my guys at the house. Since I have two homes that needed some deferred maintenance on the painting around the pool at one and the whole pool and walk way areas of the other, I told Mike that if he could work with me on the time-line and give me a fair price, I was game to have him work on both homes. I cannot express how easy it was to deal with him and how responsive he was. Since I live out of town and don't get out to Vegas very often during Covid, he was really good about sending me pictures throughout the process at both homes. I'm so confused. Based on the great reviews, I called Mike this Friday and got a speedy response. I told him we wanted our patio stained. We even talked about what color. He said he'd start on Monday around noon. Yay! We cleared the patio furniture. He arrived on time. Yay! I walked him to the patio. Then he said "I DON'T DO STAIN". Huh?!?!? Mike did an amazing job on our garage floors. Dealing with rain twice in the week we needed it done. He stuck with it and was very patient with all of our requests. He repaired a moisture issue, he added a shinier top coat and even came back after he was all done to sand down and apply an extra top coat when the chips felt a little rough. We love the floors! You dont get to see a sample of what your driveway will look like. Every result is unique. The three colors selected are sprayed on top of one another almost haphazardly.
