Fernando has a great first impression. He did not repair our stucco to the current wall texture. I asked him if that would be okay on his house... he did it again and it was good. Then it fell and split from the house. He told my husband he could use liquid nails once it dried. Wait a minute... that is what we were paying him to fix. He rushed through our job. 7 items needed to be corrected. One being the new patio that had paint sprayed along the edge. Fernando said he would power wash and it would come off... no power washing and there is still paint on my pavers. He is a pleasant guy. He wants to please, but missed the mark. F&H Plaster did a great job on our home. Fernando came out the same day we asked him to come by to give us a quote. He walked the entire property with us discussing all the details of the project. I was immediately impressed with his candor and calm reassuring manner. He gave us a few options and discussed possibilities. The quote he gave us was exactly in the range I had assumed it would be at. The payment schedule for the project had been setup in increments for: deposit to start material orders, project start date, stucco installation, and remaining balance due at completion. Communication with Fernando was timely, professional, and clear. He always kept us up to date on the project's progression. The overall project had been weighing on our minds for an extended period and we were stressed about the size and impact of the project. We had the entire house re-stuccoed and painted. We had many areas of the house that had previous patch work done that were painted and not painted and were not seamless. Areas from window replacements that had been patched and needed to be repaired and painted. Dry wall that needed to be replaced and patched from plumbing work that had also been completed. Large cracks on our west facing wall from heat damage that needed repair along with other broken patches of stucco from age and heat. We also had various storage, outdoor equipment, yard materials, appliances, etc.. on the covered patio and around the back of the house that needed to be moved for the project. (The F&H team handled the moving of these items it was included in the quote.) I was concerned that the large storage shed at the back of the house would cause issues for the stucco installation and painting as there was only enough space for a single slim person to stand between the house and the shed, but the F&H team were able to handle that. We realized late and already into the project that we had one last remaining window that needed to be replaced on the house for the bathroom. Fernando was so great and said he could take care of that for us. He tracked down and installed a window for our bathroom mid-project before the stucco finish. The entire F&H team were kind, clean, and well organized. They took proper care to ensure prep and cleanup were done in a tidy manner. They arrived every morning at 7am to start work and worked at least 6-10 hours a day depending on the scheduled items for that day. Very professional on all fronts. We are very happy with the work Fernando and his family completed. We will defiantly recommend them and use them again for any future repairs or maintenance that is needed. read more
