After posting via Yelp that I needed my Garage Door repair and repainted, I was contacted by multiple companies. Carlos's price was tied for the best and he could schedule my repair a couple days later. Him and his team did a fantastic job and the garage door is looking brand new. My experience with Carlos and his team is in agreement with all the other positive reviews here; good work quality, courteous manner, good communication, etc. While all that is wonderful, and worthy of recommendation alone, what I found most noteworthy is Carlos' integrity, thoughtfulness, and pride in his work. Once we agreed to price and scope of work, Carlos and his team went to work. As the project progressed, Carlos saw things that needed to be done outside the scope of work, offered to do them, and NEVER mentioned any additional cost. I expected to have those things factored into the final settlement, but NO. When it came time to pay, he DID NOT factor the extra work nor did he ask for reimbursement for the materials! He even knocked some money off the original quote. I insisted on sticking with the original quote, but he told me he was "just trying to do the right thing." Of course, I'm not suggesting this is something everyone should expect, as all projects are different. However, my point is about integrity and doing business the right way. I'm sure not all projects go as smooth as mine, but I'm confident any problem can be solved equitably because Carlos does business the right way. When trying to find someone to put up shower curtain rods, I found KC Handyman on yelp. I figured I would give them a try. They came and installed for a reasonable price and even hung up the shower curtain in both bathrooms. Asked at that time for quote on painting an island and a accent wall. I was given a reasonable quote for that also. Well I finally got around to calling for the paint job, and boy they did an awesome job. Yesterday, Carlos and Oreo replaced an OTR microwave, put together an outdoor hanging egg chair and a few other small projects; they did a wonderful job and I will be calling them back for future projects. I feel that the prices were fair, they are extremely competent, trustworthy and went out of their way to do everything we needed. The outdoor hanging chair was a very heavy unit and was delivered in a large wood crate; I asked Carlos if they could break the crate fully down, so that my husband and I could easily carry it out to the trash-not only did they do that, they then took all the pieces in their truck to dispose of it for us!
