Doug is a super nice guy. Knows what he is doing, efficient, respectful, and reasonably priced. Totally will call him again. Thanks Doug!

Doug is an amazing and hard working human being. As the photos show he is a perfectionist. Replacing the bedroom carpet with porcelain tiles to connect the hallway and the bathroom which had non-parallel tiles proved to be a significant challenge. He worked very hard to get the best the result possible. Check out the pictures, they speak for themselves. Doug respect deadlines, he knew we needed the job done by a certain date, so he worked so hard to deliver on time. One day he worked till midnight (seriously)... Please trust him for your next home project, he is honest, competent and trust worthy. Go ahead and give him a call, you will be glad you did.. read more

We recently bought a new house (yay!) but it needed some repairs before we could move in. Called them up and Roger was happy to help us. He was able to come out basically the next day and help prep the walls for painting and there were so many holes for him to cover! And some more significant damage to drywall, etc. He also replaced the sink and a few other things. Because he couldn't finish everything that day he swung by to finish a few things the next day at no charge, just wanted to get the job done. He really went above and beyond and we would definitely reccomend him to anyone looking for a versatile, reliable handyman! read more

Being new to Las Vegas I'm well pleased with the prompt focus and attention to get the work done in a timely manner. Much Appreciation! Thank you read more

If you're searching for a seasoned handyman who truly cares about the quality of their work, you can stop your search. I had several usual "handyman" issues I needed help with before moving into my new home, and these were all a snap for Doug. But the thing that prompts this review is the phenomenal accent wall he created for my master bedroom. He recommended the materials (ledger stone) and helped me coordinate with the vendor for a perfectly smooth purchase and scheduling. Doug's attention to detail was above and beyond as evidenced in the pictures I've uploaded. Pay particular attention to the top angled section that is absolutely flawless. Beyond the exceptional workmanship, the communication was excellent from start to finish, cost (reasonable) was accurately represented from the get go, and the work was performed on time. Thanks Doug! read more

Like other reviewers, I called other services because we needed a number of our interior rooms painting. Not only did very few call back, but most were outrageously expensive. Calling Doug he was responsive and quoted us a fair price. Doug prides himself on his work and he did an incredible job. We had a complicated paint job of a large space, a small room and a split paint job with chair railing. Doug was clean, tidy, punctual and attentive. The complicated job was perfectly executed. We'll be using Doug again in a few months to paint more rooms! He's great to work with, you won't regret it! read more

Doug just finished a kitchen backsplash job for my wife and I. To say that his work exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. The scope of work expanded slightly as we worked through the design process and finalized our materials. What we settled on would require a bit more work and detail on the part of Doug. He never complained and the finished product was absolutely spectacular!! We couldn't be more happy. When Doug says he's a perfectionist, he truly means it. He will be our FIRST and ONLY CALL for any future home projects. Sonny read more

Can't say enough good things about their services! Was trying to replace a fill valve in the toilet but the locknut was on so tight I could not unscrew it. Got quoted $120 from a different place. I texted Doug and he came over to help me fix the issue with no charge! Also helped us fix a leaky faucet. He was so kind, professional, and even take the time to teach me about the repairs. 100% would recommend! read more

Doug was a lifesaver - He did an amazing job on our massive project to do a major makeover on our property and get it ready for to sale in Las Vegas; moreover, Doug ALWAYS went the extra mile for us (considering we had time constraints from being out of town), without hesitation. Doug is hardworking, honest, responsive and very reasonable. We would hire Doug and refer him in a heartbeat. Thank you Doug for all your hard work, dedication and for making a difficult project come to life with an awesome outcome; you are truly one in a million! read more

My man Doug fixed 2 toilet valves in less than 30 mins! Called him the night before and he was at my house by 8am. Thanks for the speedy and cost efficient service Doug! Will def call again read more

I was living in a completely uninhabitable house because my landlord was unwilling to repair anything so my house deteriorated to the point that I had no bathrooms with working showers, the toilets weren't bolted to the floors, cabinets were missing, there were holes outside in the walls that let vermin in, the stove didn't work, there were leaks, the floor was destroyed, and I was completely miserable thinking that I was going to be stuck like this forever. Eventually I came to an agreement with my landlord and I chose to have Doug of handyman repairs do all of the repairs in my house. He did such an amazing job that I was in awe. He took a house that was disgusting and embarrassing and made it beautiful. He does the most wonderful work and he's also one of the kindest men I have ever met in my life. He truly cares about people and making you happy and he takes pride in his work. He is so knowledgeable and really is a Jack of all trades. He doesn't quit until the job meets his high standards and that is something that most people are lacking these days. I couldn't have asked for a better handyman! All I can say is if you need anything done around your house Doug with Handyman Repairs is your one stop shopping man and you should definitely hire him you will not be disappointed! read more

I found Handyman Services on Yelp. I had Doug come out to my new home and he gave me an estimate on a kitchen backsplash. His price was very fair. Doug was excellent! Definitely a handyman. I called a few different places to get estimates on some work that had to be done around the house. One company wanted to delegate out and run up the price for almost every little thing, but not Doug. He came, talked about each issue and got it done himself. Doug was efficient in communicating, scheduling us in to get it done and doing the job in a timely manner. He's nice, and we were able to joke around and enjoy having him work on the house. Doug went the extra mile in getting us the parts we needed, and helping us make the right decisions on how to fix things. We will be using him again and keep his number saved as he is our go to handyman now. Thanks Doug! read more

Our toilet kept leaking and on top of that making a horribly irritable sound that bugged my mom a lot, so we called Doug. Doug has a GREAT response time, he is speedy at answering requests for his services and when he got to our house, he explained a lot about the mechanisms of a toilet in terms of engineering while repairing or rather simply readjusting it and giving out a step-by-step approach on how to repair the toilet if small steps don't work such as simply replacing the flush valve and even having to replace the entire tank if necessary - most of what he said I never knew before - which could prove that Doug has both completed trading school and has many years of experiencing in trade. And also Doug has told me and proven to me that he can do the same work a plumber can for only 1/4th the price. So overall, he's a very professional tradesman. read more

We had a list of things that needed to be done to a rental house and the work was great and the workers were nice and professional. The price was comparable to other quotes we had, but Dough was fair in re-negotiating certain quoted prices because of miscommunication or unnecessary parts purchased. Will definitely call for any future repairs. read more

Doug with Handyman Services was an absolute pleasure to work with. I requested a quote to have nearly the entire interior of my house painted. Despite it being around Christmas time, Doug responded quickly, walked the property, and gave me a very detailed and fair quote. He and his team worked quickly and the quality of the work and attention to detail was awesome. On top of that, he was friendly, informative, and very responsive in our communications. I have never hired a handyman before, but after working with Doug, I hope they are all as good as he is. Thank you for helping me make my renovation deadline and doing a great job! read more

Doug and his team did an amazing job replacing our over the range microwave. Doug was very responsive over the phone/text messages in order to get the repair scheduled, and his team showed up sharp on time for the repair on the next day after contacting Doug. The labor fee that I was charged was very reasonable for their great service. Hope I don't need more repairs anytime soon, but if I do, you will have a repeat customer. Thanks again! read more

I contacted this company for a quote on my daughter's behalf. The job was to remove and dispose of carpet/padding in 2 bedrooms, install underlayment and laminate flooring that she purchased from Home Depot, remove/dispose/replace baseboards in both rooms. Doug was responsive and provided a cost estimate that wasn't the cheapest we got, but definitely in line with expectations. About a week later, the day the work was to begin, she (daughter) was told Doug's flooring guy had Covid and she would have to wait until he was better. Furniture from both rooms had been moved to the living room, which was also filled with 20 boxes of flooring and 3 rolls of underlayment; but not unsympathetic to illness, she waited a week with her house disrupted without complaint. The morning John did show up, he was clearly still not feeling well and left at noon. He only managed to remove the baseboards, carpet & padding, which he put in the garage. There was no indication when he'd return. Several days later, Doug sent two men to lay the flooring and replace the original baseboards (his suggestion, she was willing to buy new ones) which had been damaged during removal. Doug assured they would be repaired, caulked and painted as part of his quote. The floors were done quickly and look great. The guys did an excellent job laying the laminate, hence the two stars. But then Doug said he couldn't get back out to work on the baseboards and to paint one of the rooms (a separate agreement) for another week to 10 days because he was busy. Given the length of time already invested, and the fact all the furniture remained in the cramped living room, she said she'd find someone else. At that point, Doug not only wanted to be paid the full amount of the quote, but asked for $700 to be paid in cash immediately and given to one of the floor installers because he needed to pay for his truck repair, with the balance sent electronically (the original agreement) asap. After some back and forth, she decided to pay the full amount just to be done with the headache, and paid it electronically. (Who has $700 cash laying around and why should she make a special trip on a holiday weekend to an ATM?) It took the bank two days to make the transfer, during which time Doug contacted her that there was an urgent need for the money (she had initially offered to pay half up front, but Doug said it wasn't necessary since he was only supplying labor, not materials) and could she make sure there wasn't a problem. Ultimately, she ended up paying an additional $350 to have someone else haul away and dispose of the old carpet, padding and empty flooring boxes, which were all just left in the garage; she also paid an additional $250 to repair and paint the baseboards, all of which was part of the original quote, but left undone. The initial reasonable cost turned out to be a whole lot more. Doug is a very nice man, but he exhibited no sense of urgency to complete the work, there was too much left undone creating additional delays and expense, but didn't hesitate to pressure to pay, without deducting for the disposal and work that hadn't been completed. read more

Doug, the owner, is a great guy all around. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. Did a fine job around our kitchen along with Mike, installing stainless appliances into cabinets and granite top that needed customization. He kept his word and gave us a fair deal. He also did a very clean job which is quite important to us when inside the house. I highly recommend Doug and his crew, will have him renovate our bathroom next :-) read more

I have found my forever handyman for our rental property! Doug is super responsive, extremely thorough, and reliable. We have a rental property and manage it from out of state so we needed someone who could do a good job, do it right, and send us photos of everything. Doug couldn't have been a better fit for us. I feel lucky that we found him. He came out, did a walk through, came up with a list that included everything we needed him to fix and things he saw that needed some love. But wait...it gets better. He went to multiple Home Depots and got everything he needed to fix our house, sent me photos of the receipts (crossed out things he picked up for not our project and deducted that out), and fixed everything PLUS more for an extremely fair price. I trust him, would recommend 100%. Thank you, Doug! You are absolutely the best! read more

I really wanted to rate them bad, because I have finally found my "go to" people. I have had a project that was abandoned by a vendor contracted through Lumber Liquidator - they left all the transitions undone. If you do not purchase wood through someone, or it is a small job, you get little response. Well within 72 hours it was scheduled and the work is now done - in less than a week (and yes, I live in Vegas). Oh, showed up on time. Price was fair, workmanship was (is exceptional)! So I started to ask about the other "honey dos" that my husband has not been able to get to because of work, and we are already going for the next project. Cabinets over the washer and dryer; and the next - stand out wall. Professional all the way around. The process was speedy, professional and have to say, I really liked the guy who came out - carpenter for over 20 years. Seriously, where have you been for the three months of my life trying to find help! read more

I came here with an odd request - I removed vinyl panels from the wall and the residual glue would not come off without taking parts of the wall with it. I'm SO happy with the results and their customer service and look forward to using their services in the future :) read more

I reached out to Doug in November of 2021 for an estimate to rehab the kitchen and two bathrooms. Doug met me at the property and provided me with an estimate, and the rest was history. We began rehab in December of 2021 and finished March 2022. It took a little longer than expected, but Just like any construction/rehab work, there are a lot of unforeseen circumstances and issues that come up. Doug was very communicative and supportive throughout the process, and provided his suggestions, guidance, and support, as needed. Couldn't have asked for a better person to help me with this project especially since I'm out of state and unable to be there all the time. Doug provided me with a weekly and daily updates to keep me on the loop with the progress. I've had the pleasure to met and work with Doug for the past 3 months, and I look forward to working with him again in the future! Here are some before and after photos of Doug's amazing work!
