I took my 2013 Cadillac into service at this particular business based on a recommendation. I am the second owner on this particular vehicle and she is originally from Baytown and was very well taken care of. My main concern was the shifter cable. So, let's get down to it. I first met with a young gentleman named Caleb CSR. Since I was a new customer, he thoroughly took down my information notes and so forth. He is very well dressed and was very polite. He was very accommodating in accompanying me to the dangerous Bay Area to show me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle.. I suspected the shift was loose. In my opinion. Caleb is a fine young man that has a bright future in front of him. Second CSR I met was John, believe is his name don't quote me though. John was very sympathetic and empathetic to my concerns and very accommodating. He generally seemed concerned for my situation.. In my opinion John is a very joyful man that really loves his job and helping people. Third person was Adolf .He was the technician that worked on my car. He was very gentle as he took her all apart and put her very gently back together and I know because I had a Hawkeye on him the whole time outside the dangerous bay area. He also wasn't hesitant to ask for help by the master technician JD, because it was an aftermarket part. would not ever be a perfect fit, but I was thoroughly completed to my satisfaction,and impressed that he got closer and tighter than I could even with my tiny hands. In my opinion, I trust my baby my Cadillac ATS with Adolf any day. Not my actual children, but my car.. Now.....JD, the master technician from what I observed. Honestly, what can I honestly say, brilliant needs no advertisement this man knows his sh@t .....period. Shout out to Dorian and Justin. And thank you, Jack Z from GSC for the recommendation. This is a late post, but I came here, I think, back in July, convinced my air conditioner was not working. I was sure of it, and the manager from the other location was there, and he listened patiently. I found out he had just moved from California, and I didn't pick up on the hint he was trying to tell me. Well, we kept on talking about all things, we had a lot in common, very nice guy. So finally, the guys looking at my car came in and said something to him. Beware. They resort to scare tactics to try to get you to spend more. We've been taking our vehicle to this location for many years, since before it was called Sun Auto Service. Unfortunately, the second time my wife took the vehicle there for an oil change after becoming Sun Auto Service, they informed her that they had used full synthetic oil the previous time and her engine would get damaged if she switched back to conventional, which is completely false. So they're either so uninformed to the point of being incompetent, or they're preying on their customers, the second being the most likely. Either one is unacceptable. read more

Took my 2015 chevy cruze for diagnose for $99..they keep the car a week and then said they vacuumed out air in coolant system and car was fixed..didn't even tell me they were going to fix it or get approval to fix...paid $300 ...picked up car drove it 20 minutes and car overheats...took it back to them and they didn't even try to fix it because they don't know what is wrong with it...they wanted me to pick up car...yes its still broken...The owner Logan is a joke....DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY ARE DISHONEST AND WILL ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY! Not sure I really trust these guys anymore! Tried 3 times to get Oil change but could not fit me into the Later schedule! Walking in you can tell they do not care you are at their store! I finally got an oil change and it took 15 minutes, paper said they rotated my ties but i know for sure they did not! Also, found out my tires were filled to 40 not 37! My Sister also had a bad experience with the two gentlemen at the counter! She left and went to Auto Fix! I did go to another Sun Auto on Louetta and they helped me with my tires! Kris,the manager, tried to sell me a couple additional services, which I declined, but he added the services to my bill anyway. Totally inexperienced. We have been bringing both cars here for several years, back when it was Louetta Automotive and while they are not the cheapest, you consistently get what you pay for. They have a courtesy shuttle and always work with me and with my budget to answer my questions and understand my needs. Mr. Derrick Johnson today was especially helpful and patient with me, and Cesar wasn't even mad when he had to go look for my cell phone in the courtesy van when it turned out it was buried in my handbag. When my car just died on the road and I was waiting for the tow truck I never thought to bring it anywhere else than my shop close to home. Biggest selling point: the Chevy dealership where I purchased my new 2015 Equinox charged me $250 to replace a headlamp because they had to "remove the bumper" to get to it. Three years later this shop did it ON THE SAME SIDE for $30. They do good work at a fair price and I recommend them. read more

very rude man & aggressive towards women told me $60 for a tire I drive all the way to Walgreens to get money off because he tried to charge $72.80 for debit . when I got back tire was on my mom car I handed him $60 he repeated $65 I'm like sir you said $60 money no issue he literally told us $60 the first time. We going back in forth , he continues to tell them take the tire over all horrible experiences pls don't go to this shop prices overrated & very rude from the beginning. 0/10 recommend horrible service. read more

I strongly advise against engaging in any business dealings with these individuals! They have engaged in dishonest practices and are untrustworthy. Roscoe, the mechanic, not only stole parts from me but also abruptly quit, leaving without providing a receipt for the parts. To make matters worse, the manager, Anthony Oeltjen, initially acknowledged the delivery of my parts but then shifted blame onto his employee, despite being fully aware of the situation. This kind of behavior is unacceptable from a manager. Despite my attempts to escalate the issue by contacting the regional manager, Michael Lee, he failed to return my calls, even after recognizing who I was and which vehicle we were discussing. This lack of response leads me to believe that these actions are not isolated incidents but rather a common practice within their business. I am eager to speak with the owners directly, as I suspect that these individuals are withholding funds from the company. I have gathered evidence and photos to support my claims. Run and run took my car in for an ac issue specifically told them to check out the cooling fans, two days later they called and said car needed a whole new ac compressor and it would be $1300, went to pick up the car declining the quote. I started to question them and the story kept changing to no voltage on the compressor, to bad O ring on the compressor, to no Freon....took to another shop...turns out it was the cooling fans. read more

if I could give a zero star I would. He is a crook!!!!! When we were dating my wife's car was having trouble. I took it to Auto Zone and they tested and said it was a bad battery. She bought the battery from this place and it was s till under warranty. So she took it back to them. He replaced the battery but charged her $200 to test the battery and install the new one. I'll save the details on the second incident and shame on me for even having a second incident. I should have known this guy is a first rate criminal. Left my truck there as it was running rough. The next day he calls me and says it needs a spark plug and the throttle body cleaned. I had ran a scan for the codes myself before I took it to him and told him all it had given. I told him it had over heated and I had the radiator replace. So he tells me after looking at it it needs a sparkplug and the throttle body ckeaned. I said okay do that. after about 3 hours he calls me back and says he took out spark plug number 3 and there is pink stuff on it. he did some test and tells me the engine is blown and will cost $14k to replace it. fyi this is a 13 year old truck with 225k miles on it. I told him no and I will just pick it up. He tells me fine that will $1,400.... I said for what... after arguing he says okay I'll take off the "battery Strap".... I said what are you talking about. why are you putting a new battery strap in a blown engine... to shorten this up he finally got down to $714. The guy lied on every phone call. if I can figure it out I will post a picture of my invoice here. I hope to save others from this crook. read more
