It's good, but contact your bank prior for a wire transfer. 1 jar pickles and 1 jar honey was $54.

I had Fish Hook before in San Francisco and got to try this location and the food is amazing!…read more I got the oysters, the ling cod fish plate, and black cod tacos and my favorite is definitely the ling cod plate. The ling cod is one of my favorite fish they have there and the rice and the tomatoes on the plates are delicious!!! I wish the staff here are more friendly and the food can come out a little slow, especially on the weekends. The staff mentioned that we would have to wait for 30-45minutes for the fish and chips so I didn't get it and I wish I could if I didn't have to wait that long. But overall I really enjoyed coming here for fresh fish options and a great place to come with friends!

4 -- Good Food, Cool Vibes & a Little Habanero Surprise…read more Hook Fish in Mill Valley definitely seems to be a popular spot! We only waited about 15 minutes, but I heard some people were waiting 1.5 HOURS So I guess we caught them on a good day... or somebody upstairs really likes us. The energy here was pretty cool. Families, pups, people hanging out--it had that laid-back, "I'm just here to eat good food and enjoy the day" type of atmosphere. You really can't go wrong with that. Now, if you're doing keto like me, they're not exactly the most keto-friendly spot, but I was able to make it work with a salad and grilled fish. The vinaigrette was actually pretty decent, while the crema? ‍ It was giving... absolutely nothing. Definitely needed some flavor. The carrot habanero hot sauce was decent too, and honestly, I wasn't digging the whole dish. Was it the best thing I've ever eaten? Nah. But a friend invited me out, and I wasn't about to sit there complaining about free food. That's just rude! I'm sure their tacos and burritos are where the real party is happening, but I'll have to find out next time. Overall: Cool atmosphere, friendly vibe, decent food, and definitely seems worth checking out. Just be prepared for a wait if you catch them during the rush!

At first, I was surprised to see it in such an unexpected spot, but figured they must be doing well to operate in such a remote location. I asked my husband to look them up, but couldn't find much online at the time and even at this moment, I couldn't find any other information about them so thought I'd leave a review for more exposure. We decided to stop by on our way back for dinner before heading back to the cabins and I'm so glad we did! The truck was still there, and we grabbed a large supreme pizza, which was reasonably priced and surprisingly delicious for a mobile pizza truck! One of the co-owners, Michael, had set up a cozy area with a sectional couch, so you could enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the ocean. We would've stayed to eat, but since it was a bit windy that day, we opted to take it back to the cabins and enjoy it there. I wanted to leave a review to let others know there's a solid pizza spot in the Mount Tamalpais area with an incredible view. What really stood out was that they have an actual pizza oven in the back of the truck feeling like there's no doubt you're getting a quality pizza cooked right there. While they don't have an exact address, the best way to find them is by looking for the parking lot across from the famous Red Rock Spring, where people stop to get spring water. Best of luck to Matter Daddy's Mobile Pizza and Michael and his co-owner. I really do hope this helps flourish their business as my husband and I thought this was a no frill but delicious pizza spot around that area.

There's something for everyone here. I was impressed to see a gluten-free vegetarian samosa in the apps! I have a few gluten-free friends so this would be great for them to come a try! On top of that, Avatar's takes pride in being open to accommodate to customers' dietary requqests as best they can, so the menu isn't extremely fixed. Their food and service are top notch! For my first visit, we were greeted warmly and were able to get a table right away since we went at an off peak dining hour. I'm easy, I just went with Dahl and Basmati. It's my favorite thing even tho it's super basic. The dahl was packed full of flavor, eating it was such a delight. I hope someday they'll create a vegan-friendly dessert or even a vegan Mango Lassi. I can't wait for my next visit when I'm in the area.

I ordered the taquitos, which were described as such: "pulled chicken in corn tortillas, dip-fried, with salsa roja, queso cotija, sour cream and guacamole." I was charged $17.98. This may have included a small tip. I received two taquitos which had been chopped up into six pieces and placed over a few ounces of shredded lettuce, topped with about a tablespoon of guacamole, a tablespoon of pico de gallo, a more ample tablespoon of cotija, and a ramekin of salsa roja. All of it was quite frankly bad. For the price, it was borderline offensive. I challenge the assertion that the taquitos are handmade or dip-fried. They taste exactly like the frozen taquitos from Sam's Club. For the amount I was charged, I expected five, or at least three, but two? Really? None of the produce was fresh. The lettuce was browning. The salsa was going acidic. The guacamole was browning. The cotija was okay. Customer service was okay, but no level of customer service could make up for this terrible of a value, as far as the price and quality of the food.
