The guy who owns this is SUPER cool and sooooo friendly. I'd probably come back just to chat it up, but the 5 stars is because the sushi is GREAT! I've never had spicy sushi like the ones here. The sauce ihas the perfect spice level and is smoky and tangy without being overpowering. A+++

This is not a restaurant, it's more of a take out sushi kiosk for college students. That said, the sushi was fine and reasonably priced.

One of the best spots to get sushi, Steve's spicy crunchy crab roll is to die for!! I usually get 3-5 of them with a roll or two.

It's located in a plaza so parkings are readily available. When we got there it was early just when the restaurant opened so it was empty. Inside is small with some seatings and tables with bar area. Once we sat down we took a look at the menu and placed our order We got tsunama crisp and divers scallop appetizer to start. They were both good but tsunama crisp was our favorite. Scallops were good but pairings sauce and salad in the middle was ok. Garlic noodle was okay as well. Bit strong on the soy sauce but needed a bit more depth of flavor or sweetness. Sushi was good. I personally liked the eel roll. Service was good and waitress was attentive. Overall it's a solid asian restaurant offering decent sushi and asian food in the area. However it's not unique since they don't offer m anything that is significantly different from other asian restaurants. Since it's a bit far from where i'm located not sure if i'll return unless I'm already in the area.

They have some pretty simple rolls, and they have some pretty out there kind of rolls. I've never had one that I outright disliked, though? I tend to look for the blackship roll, tempura roll, signature roll #2, or spicy sake (I still think spicy salmon is better than spicy tuna). Oh, their seaweed salad is pretty good too. For me, this is a nice place to stop by on the way home and pick up some sushi on a whim quickly.

My visit today is the second time I've experienced the terrible customer service/personality of the sole individual that runs sushi go. He does make good sushi, however his customer service is so bad you will either get mad or just have to laugh it off because it is just that terrible. I came to the market today to do our weekly shopping and knowing that the sushi needs to be ordered ahead of time with a wait I went straight there to order first and thought I could pick it up after a full shopping. I was told that I could only place an order over the phone and that it would be at least 45 minutes. Ok. I asked what number to call and the owner said to call the market. I asked him for the number and he repeated himself. Ok. While standing in front of him and his sushi case I looked up the number on my phone and called and was connected to the deli. And then the owner, who was just talking to me, walked over to the deli phone and took my order and over the phone told me that it would be 30 minutes. He was literally 15 feet away from me talking to me on the phone to take an order that he could have taken with a simple friendly conversation! I came back 40 minutes later and picked it up. I stopped to let the manager know about my experience and was told they have huge stack of customer complaints about him. They rent space to him, so it's not a simple case of getting rid of an unpleasant employee. If you like sushi and don't have to deal with or don't care about experiencing a person who just shouldn't be in contact with the general public then I highly recommend sushi-go!

Very disappointed in the experience but the decor was really nice and I've been wanting to try this place out since my friends had a galentines day event here after our spa day but I had to go home so I didn't make it to the restaurant until today. Food was okay, the calamari taste like fish sticks and my husband and kids like fish sticks but I don't so I didn't eat that. My philly roll was okay but my husband and kids all loved their rolls so it's always nice when your kids are satisfied with the food. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'd give this place another chance because it is 5 minutes away from my house but the service and overall experience was mid. The orange chicken was good nothing special so I was happy about that. I will add that the lychee sangria was probably my favorite part of this whole meal so if you want good drinks, this is your place! If you try this place out, I hope that you have a better experience than we did. It's probably the worst experience we've had in town.

I absolutely love Belmont and rave about it to people, it's kind of become a destination to me…read morewhenever I'm in the area. Their selection of prepared foods, including vegetarian friendly ones, is massive, and I often get a bunch on "lazy weeks" and they are such a big help with meal planning. Their fresh desserts and breads are amazing, I always get their mini bagels. I shopped the last hour of the day on a weekday most recently to avoid the usual crowds since the aisles can get tight, but almost everything was gone except cinnamon Raisin bagels (for obviously reasons lol). I was sad to see the selection so low, but I guess these are hot items and sell out earlier in the day?? I had no idea but will plan around this next time. They have a lot of interesting dairy free and vegan options in the dairy section that I don't see elsewhere, or that I saw at Belmont years before I saw in other places - they are ahead of the times! Some items here will run you $1-$2 more than they would in another grocery store though, so in the future I think I will stick to specialty items I can only find here, and will drag myself to another grocery store for my basics, because the upcharge here is a little nuts. A frozen bag of broccoli florets was at least twice if not triple the price it would be at another store, and it was a basic brand I'd never even heard of. I do love their natural self care section and what I'll call the "items perfect for gifting" section as soon as you walk through the door - I always have to smell the local lavender. There are a ton of unique sections and offerings here that make the upcharge on other items kindaaaaa worth it (if I don't think about it for too long). All in all I'm a huge fan and will continue to look forward to future trips here! A couple small areas of improvement though: - Something about their prepared foods makes them seem to go bad pretty quickly, like within 3 days - the oils just go rancid on certain things, or they start tasting off. I know prepared items don't have a long shelf life in general, and I don't know what it is about these specifically, but they seem to turn quicker than options from other places - Service is typically pretty helpful when checking out, but on my last visit, the cashier and bagger didn't even greet me and were too busy talking and laughing with each other to even really acknowledge me. I got home and realized the instant coupon on something I bought wasn't even scanned, which was annoying because that was a big reason I bought that item specifically, and it's RIGHT THERE - isn't that cashier 101 to scan the instant coupons??

It had a sort of fast-food type of feel to it, but it was clean and bright. Never been to a Pokemoto before, so I didn't know what their menu was. It's very customizable, but since it was my first time here, I just asked for their miso salmon bowl (I was tied between the Hawaiian bowl and the miso salmon, and the girl making it said she preferred the miso salmon). Along with it, I got a seaweed salad and a mango boba tea. The miso salmon bowl was pretty good. The rice was definitely a calrose variety. It's the closest we come to a Japanese short grain for a US variety...otherwise, more commonly referred to as "sushi rice" in the US. The salmon had good texture and flavor. The miso was pretty good. Enough to give it flavor, but not so much that it overpowers it (I think it was made with a shiro miso, but I could be wrong). The garlic and onion chips gave the flavor some depth and provided texture. I was worried the cilantro could overpower the flavor of the salmon, but it didn't. The mango pieces in it....I'm up in the air about that. It was a more sour mango, and poke bowls definitely need a bit of acid or sour to cut the fattiness, but I found the mango a bit distracting. That said, I'm not sure what I'd use in place of it. The seaweed salad... it was.............okay. I mean, I liked it, but I found it very, very sweet. I feel like a bit less sugar, and a bit more sesame oil. Oh, and some sesame seeds. The mango boba tea... After looking more closely at the menu, I may have just ordered wrong, but, in contrast to the seaweed salad being too sweet, the mango boba tea was not sweet enough. Look, mango is a super sweet fruit, and when you get a dry mango sweetness, it's............weird. It's like this...imagine if you got a cup of watermelon juice, and when you drink it, you get a dry watermelon sweetness to it; like you get with a dry wine. Odd. Additionally, the boba pearls didn't have much flavor, but I didn't request it with the brown sugar pearls, so that's actually probably my fault. The boba tended to clump together, though, which was a bit odd (they don't do that when I make it at home). Overall, I liked it. I'll be honest, it's not the cheapest, but dining out hasn't been cheap since 2019. Was it worth it? Will I dine there again? Definitely. If I still lived in the apartments at the Commons, I'd probably find myself there once a week.
