Love that they can make a lot of the menu GF. We shared the pineapple fried rice with beef and the drunken noodles with shrimp. Proteins were well cooked and the noodles were the perfect level of medium spicy. Fried rice was as tasty as well and a good balance to the noodles. The pineapple definitely made the rice. Would definitely come back to try more stuff on their menu.
I hate giving three stars to one of my favorite spots, but I was recently disappointed in my takeout order. I used to go here frequently for lunch and enjoyed the lunch special. Today I got take out and was disappointed. I ordered spring rolls and red Thai curry for $26.00. There were only three spring rolls and they were disappointing. The red curry was good, but the vegetables were undercooked. This place has great ambiance and their lunch special is definitely worth it, but I'm going to pass on their takeout dinner, which is really a shame.
It's rare for me to give a five-star review, but this experience definitely deserved it. Our server was familiar with my cousin and his wife, who are regulars and always order the same dish. She was friendly, funny, and an absolute delight to interact with. My cousin jokingly said we were ruining his reputation, but the server clearly enjoyed herself, joking around with us as well. The atmosphere was quiet, though we tend to get a bit loud when our conversations get exciting--we made an effort to keep it down. The food was outstanding! The spice had a real kick, and each dish had its own unique character. The spring rolls were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, the drunken noodles were tender and flavorful without being too saucy, and the rice was incredibly tasty. The vegetables in each dish were cooked to perfection.
I was near summit thai and thought I'd try their food. Ordered the cashew nut lunch special w shrimp brown rice and salad w peanut dressing. And took it home n ate food. The food was very tasty and spicy as I had requested. Had peppers mushrooms n onions. I would say a little pricey n the quantity was that big. May come back for lunch again.

Came for lunch right when they opened so no other customers were here. Had the place all to ourselves We come down to shop at Kam Man and we usually eat in the market but they no longer offer the lunch special. Then we usually would just walk over to Penang but decided to try something else today. I've seen Summit Thai as we drive in many times. It's about half a mile away from Kam Man so we drove over to check it out. Glad we did! We ordered hot tea and Thai iced tea. Hubby ordered Beef Massaman Curry. The potatoes in this dish was a little undercooked the chef came out and was very apologetic. He made a new order of the potatoes, and this time it was perfect. I ordered the Duck Nam Jim. This is crispy duck with a cilantro sauce. I've been to many Thai places but this is by far the best duck dish ever. The was super crispy and the sauce was amazing, I'm definitely coming back to have this again! Next time we're in the area definitely coming by.
We were looking for a place for Thai food on Sunday, and decided to check out the reviews on here. They were good, so we figured we'd go and see how safe we felt to eat in the restaurant. It was fine at around 4:45 on Sunday afternoon. All staff wore masks, and the service was outstanding. We tried the fried dumplings, and they were hot and delicious. My chicken pad see ew was perfectly spiced and a wonderful portion. The only criticism is that there was very little Chinese broccoli - I would have loved a little more. My partner had grilled chicken with peanut sauce - he loved that as well. We will definitely be back. This place is better than the Thai restaurants that are closer to my house!
Ordered take out from Summit Thai multiple times, their service from prep to delivery is quick and reliable. Tried my go to Thai dishes - Drunken noodles, Thai fried rice and Pad thai. Food is freshly made, spicy and tasty. Heads up if you are like me and always order the spicy ( over medium ) spice level, its definitely above the average spice levels and might over power the actual flavor of the dish. Definitely recommend if you are looking for reliable and quick service, and tasty food
Stopped by here with aunt and gma bc my aunt was craving pad Thai. She got the pad Thai noodles with no spice, I didn't really care for them as the taste was a bit on the sweeter side for me. I had the Basil Fried rice and I loveeee spicy foods but let me tell you right now, be careful when they ask you for spice level 1-4, what you say! I said 3 and I was very sorry lol I should have gotten a 2 or maybe even a 1, that's how on fire my mouth was. My gma got the pineapple fried rice (not pictured), not a fan of pineapple in foods but the rest of her rice was delicious. As she kept making me eat hers bc she felt bad that mine was so spicy lol I also got the mango juice, which was good. It was a quiet Lowkey spot, although it's in a busy area. Maybe I just caught it on a quiet night? Also the food came out very quickly.
Came here after work one day. Placed an order on the phone and went 20 minutes later to pick it up. Not sure if they're doing indoor dining right now, they had an outdoor seating area when I went a couple weeks ago. Red Curry- delicious. I got it with chicken. Right amount of meat and veggies, and definitely a lot of curry. Drunken Noodles- good. I got it with chicken instead of my usual beef so maybe that changed something for me. Fried Cheesecake- just okay. the outer tempura/fried part was too dry in my opinion. Return? Yes I want to try other items Recommend? Yes, definitely authentic thai food at right prices. Kind of hard to find that in this area without having to go to NYC. TIP: they do a lunch special Monday-Saturday until 3pm! Great deal!
Was recently having a conversation with a friend about how there's a big range in the quality of takeout pad thai - sometimes the sauce is too limey, too fishy, sometimes a place will swap out the noodles with vermicelli etc. Happy to report Summit Thai does it just right! I got the lunch special here with the pad thai. While it's a lunch special it only comes with a salad or a spring roll and still comes out to 15 bucks so it's not that much of a deal. However, the pad thai portion was very large and delicious. Perfect balance of citrus, fish sauce and veg - ate it at my desk like a squirrel preparing for hibernation. The woman that worked here was pretty friendly, place was clean. The pad thai was flavorful but not spicy - will definitely ask them to kick up the spice next time. Solid spot!
Don't have a lot of Thai places around but this was very solid for a local option. They offered mock duck which a lot of non-NYC restaurants don't do. The cucumber salad was not what I expected but still good. It was sweet and vinegary. The spring rolls were delicious! I got the drunken noodles and my friend got the curry and both were delicious. The staff was very sweet and attentive. I would come back!
Everything I was craving in that moment. I was the area and needed something satisfying for lunch. I called to see if they were still operating and the customer service was great. Whoever was on the phone helped me decide what to order and was able to answer my questions. My food was ready within 10 minutes and everything was delicious ! There's plenty of parking in the front of the store and pick up was quick and efficient. I had a Thai iced tea, basil fried rice, chicken curry, and the best part is you get 2 veggie rolls as part of the lunch special. Everything was delicious !

This restaurant has been around for years and for good reason! Service is friendly and knowledgeable, the restaurant has enough seating for 50 or so. We ordered papaya salad, drunken noodles, holy basil beef, and the tilapia with eggplant. All dishes were delicious and not even a morsel left. The noodles are bouncy and flavorful. The tilapia with eggplant plant has nice sized fish prices that are fried then added to the dish to absorb the yummy sauce. Papaya salad was fresh and peanut-y. If you're a Thai food beginner, I recommend the base spice. If you like spicy foods, order a 1 spice or maybe up to 2 if you love the spicy kick. Anything hotter, I wouldn't recommend but maybe ask for the chili flakes separately and add to your tolerance. read more
Ordered UberEats on this frigid day. The veggie dumpling was inedible the pad thai was average and the chicken was dry. The drunken noodles was good with nice flavors. All in all the delivery was fast the food was meh and not likely to reorder. read more
Simple Thai restaurant, service wasn't the fastest, but is a good lunch spot and people pick up food all the time for the office. It's a bit greasy, but satisfying. If you want spicy, you can do zero to five stars (very spicy). Just be aware that sometimes I've gotten zero and it's still been spicy. Not sure if the wok/pot wasn't washed out enough after one of my coworker's 5-star dishes! Pad see ew with beef - about $16, $20 with tax & tip, eating in. You get a good amount, but not too large. A spring roll or small salad. read more

Best Drunken doodle ever!!! Service was great, food was hot and each plate was packed with flavor. My kids had the chicken pad see ew, hubby had the garlic chicken, we all shared the beef Thai fried rice. Soup was light and delicious. I would have taken more pics but I was too caught up in the food . Can't wait to go back. read more
Conveniently located on Rt 10, upon walking in you are immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant is nicely decorated with Thai decor. I love that they have lunch specials on Saturday, a lot of places don't do that and I hope they never stop. Green Curry used to be my go-to dish until I learned how to make it myself. I typically go for the Kee Mao now with hot sauce on the side and with the lunch specials - you can choose Chicken dumpling, spring roll or a Thai salad with peanut dressing as a starter. Prices are so reasonable and affordable for the amount of food you get. The food comes out really quick, luckily every time I've been here, it has not been insanely crowded. Great service, prices and staff. Highly recommend :) read more

I stopped by Summit Thai around 12:30 noon on a Saturday to grab lunch with friends I haven't seen in a while, and there was no one sitting indoors when I arrived. We got temperature checks and wrote down information for contact tracing, and were immediately seated and handed menus. The waitresses were very nice, and food came out promptly, hot and fresh. I personally enjoyed my Kee Mao lunch (unfortunately lunch prices do not work on weekends), although spicy level 4 is not really spicy. And spicy level 4 is the highest spice level, apparently...Having been to Thailand, that may have been a 1, but that depends on preference, hahaha. However, besides that all of the food was good, and the curry puffs were flakey and yummy on the inside. Highly recommend stopping by if you're ever craving Thai, or getting takeout! read more

I have been to this place before and really liked it so was happy when my client chose this place to eat. When I walked in to pick up the food, the ambiance is nice and welcoming. I liked how they decorated the place. It was dimly lit and it went well with how it was decorated. The server had my order ready and the price was reasonable. I ordered the vegetable drunken noodle with no egg and it was sooo good. The food here is a must try. read more
Really Great Thai food that is one of my favorite places to grab a delicious lunch that's close to work. The Maple Salmon is extremely tasty with perfectly fried crispy Salmon pieces in an amazing maple chili sauce with cashew nuts and vegetables It's got a slight spice to it but definitely could be hotter in my humble opinion. My colleague enjoys his tofu and said that his dish was the best tofu meal that he ever had. The fried chicken dumplings were perfectly prepared and very delicious, I could eat like 20 of these. Although Thankfully they only give you three. Service is extremely prompt, I don't think our water glasses ever got below 3/4's full they are totally on point here, very friendly as well. You will encounter parking difficulties at lunchtime but that's how it is anywhere around here. I look forward to visiting in the future. read more

Awesome Thai food and great service. Nicky remembered that we had been to the restaurant before and remembered that I liked my meal spicy. She brought us extra spices and took very good care of us. They meals arrived promptly and steaming hot. The flavors of every meal is always consistent and the quality is always great. East Hanover really has good Asian cuisine nailed down and Summit Thai is no exception. I'm a big fan of Thai food and Summit Thai delivers on all the staples plus yummy desserts. The noodle dishes are all nicely prepared with spiciness prepared to the level you request. I ordered a beef garlic dish and it was exactly what I want - topped with fresh garlic and prepared to perfection. We also had chicken satay appetizer and let me tell you, the chicken was moist, grilled to perfection, and served with awesome sauces. The icing on the cake was the mango with sticky white rice which is probably my favorite dessert of all time and available at Summit. I really hate it when Thai restaurants list this dish on their menu but then don't have it available, so thank you Summit Thai for not falsely advertising and getting this girl's hopes up for no reason. The service was friendly and the restaurant has a nice, casual environment with lots of natural light. Great place for food with co-workers or your family. I will be back for sure. read more
