Great food and customer service. I've only ever gotten their dumplings because I'm obsessed with them but every order comes with dipping sauce and a fortune cookie. The employees are fast and orders are made correctly. Seating is closed off right now but they deliver or you can pick up after ordering in person or on the phone. Delivery does take a little while (sometimes 40minutes to an hour even for a drive less than 10minutes) but pickup is usually ready in about 10 minutes. read more

This review is for the seafood soup. I've never had their food. Popped in yesterday as I was craving some Chinese seafood noodle soup. What I receIved was cornstarch soup. Globs of cornstarch with seafood pieces floating in it. No noodles. They did have plenty of shrimp and mushrooms and some scallions, but I had to remove them from the glob of cornstarch they were in. Looked like a bowl of snot. I was gagging. Never again will I order soup from there. I guess I'll have to travel 20 minutes to Parsippany to get my favorite delicious bowl of soup from Noodle Wong. read more

Lately I noticed that they are hoarding their duck sauce packets. I'm there about once a week over many years. The other night my order for my husband was a large order of spare ribs and a small egg drop soup. $21. I'm ok with the cost given increased prices. But the girl looked me in the eye and gave me one packet of duck sauce. Had to ask for more and was reluctantly give a couple more. After all these years that is the last time I'm going there. But look, Hunan Wok and its employees: I don't need your Sesame Chicken because I've seen what the chicken looks like before you're ready for it (okay so I peeked one time). Just hand me the soup, wipe that goddamn scowl off your face, and take my money. I've had the food here. And it's nothing exceptional. Just your standard, run of the mill, greasy Chinese. Hunan Wok is a great value for money when it comes to take out. $6 for a soup and a generous main course for lunch - I doubt anyone can beat that in the Florham Park area. Singapore Rice Noodle Mei Fun is my all time favorite dish. Spicy, not too fattening and with lots of flavor. Get it with a hot&sour soup and you have a lovely lunch with potential leftovers for dinner. Why not 5 stars? Two reasons: - Some of their traditional Chinese items are too heavy and don't taste as good. - If you dine in, the waitress sometimes forgets that you exist. It happens when they are overcrowded. There is another establishment over in Morristown with the same name that went to sh*t, so I have been shopping for a new Chinese place for my weekly fix. That said, I almost visited that other place, the Chalet, for authentic, but my wallet said, "Another time." Ordered my usual Americanized fare of dumplings and chicken & broccoli (sue me, I dig broccoli), and noticed Mongolian Beef on the Menu, and so I took a chance. All-in-all, the previous Yelpers were spot-on with their assessments. Servicable food at a competitive price would be a good way to sum it all up. Ready in 15 minutes, I picked it up, and it was hot and cooked when I called it in. My only dig would be they did not place any utensils or sauce packets in the bag. No biggie. Morristown? Feh. The food was ok but check out bill before you eat in . They overcharge , even it's $5.00 why I have to give them for nothing. We ordered 3 dishes and 1 soda for total $17.70 . The women charged us $25 . When we finished I asked her recalculate and then she told me she put in my plate double size of food . I said I never asked for double and it wasn't much food on my plate. Then probably her son told me that she supposed to give me eat in menu and it's different charge . But she never give me other menu and it's my decision to eat my order inside or take it out .
