Rum and coke and beer on tap
Diana C.

Stopped for drinks so can't speak to food, but the tap selection was pretty good overall. They were unfortunately out of quite a few but I enjoyed my Pilsner. My partner felt meh about his cocktail. It was a pretty typical bar with standard service and typical neighborhood bar ambiance. They had pool tables and a Pac-Man table and were showing sports on the tv. We had a good experience overall.

Chicken tacos and beef tacos

By no means are these the best tacos or even authentic tasting, but for $2 per (I think it's a Tuesday deal but not sure), they're good enough! It's conveniently in my neighborhood so I would definitely come back on a nice sunny day to grab a drink with some friends out on their outdoor seating. The corner it's on is cute since there are just a few storefronts next to each other but plenty of neighborhood folk coming by

Group of 4 in from central California, we landed here while waiting for pizza from next door. Great atmosphere, beer, and amazing tacos!! Taco Tuesday meant $1.50 per taco and they were fantastic (and we know our tacos in central California ;)). They checked our vaccine cards and the service was super friendly. Love it here!

Summit pub is a true "public house" - a casual, neighborhood place to grab some beers, watch a game, catch up with friends. It's not a pub in the decorated like an English-pub sense. It's just an actual pub. Really great beer selection, some mixed drink specials, pretty decent food with random surprise events like paella (which they always manage to do while I'm out of town, and tease me with on Facebook). Great place to watch football matches (soccer that is) -- really great crowd, but it is a crowd. Come early, and be prepared to stand. Regardless of how busy it is, I've always had to order at the bar. I don't think there are servers.

Total fan of this place for watching anything MLS (Sounders) or NFL related. They always seem to be broadcasting games or worldwide sporting events. Very much a local neighborhood watering hole type feel where it's no frills but a "homey" ambiance. You order your beers up at the counter and they have a small food menu that consists of chips with pico de gallo, burrito option, tacos (veggie and meat options), and tostadas. They will generally have some type of daily special as well that isn't on the menu but I can't say this place is known for just the food. My favorites are the chicken tostada and chips and pico - it has decent kick. Juanitos tortilla chips. The beer list though - always an amazing rotating tap list so for a great beer and chill time with friends, this place is tough to beat! They even have a nice little outdoor patio out front and on the side of the bar.

Good beer, good pours, free pool (king of the table style). What more do I need to say?

It was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last. I love that this pub focuses on…read morelocal breweries rather than carrying corporate beers. As a cider fan, I was especially happy to see a solid variety of options. Although I had a frustrating experience with the kitchen, but I'd still come back. It was an especially hectic day with multiple events and a soccer game, so it seemed like everyone arrived at once. I ended up waiting about an hour for my food, which was disappointing. That said, the staff handled the situation really well, there was consistent communication, and they took the time to engage with us, which I appreciated. Still, the kitchen delays and order issues shouldn't be overlooked. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of games, which I'm looking forward to trying next time. The location is another plus, just a few minutes' walk from the T-Link, making it very convenient.

Still decent, just not something I'd rave about. The mini golf is definitely the highlight. It's really cute how the course spells out "SEATTLE," and I loved the little Space Needle to end the last of the mini golf holes. That said, there are only 9 holes and they're pretty small, so it goes by quickly. Drinks are all on tap and feature local/Washington breweries, which I really appreciated. I love supporting local! We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated. They also had cornhole and a ping pong table, which made it feel like like there variety of things to do. Loved the vibes/ambiance (fun art and murals) and music. Overall, a fun spot for a casual hangout -- especially if you catch one of their deals!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

I didn't find the pours I got to be particularly memorable. I had a Circuit breaker which was probably the best. Pomegranate sour was passable as was the Citra streaker, but none of them slapped. The place was swamped with people and while I understand the setting. for the number of staff running around here, the place was dirty. I'd think they'd have a couple of the servers come thought and sweep up and clean the tables. So my impressions of Old Stove is that it's a huge restaurant/brewery that tourists can come to as it's close to Pike Place and the pier, but as a result is slammed so bad that it looks a bit worse for the wear, or at least it was on my visit on a weekday evening.
