It is amazing due to COVID-19 they deliver. The coffee is delicious personally I recommend a winter moon it is delicious.

Lots to love about this location. Coffee? Great! Food? Breakfast tacos are good but not very hot (they're premade somewhere else). Pastries are very good, love the scones especially. I gave them four stars because while they have a good kids area they don't have high chairs or booster seats. Our son has to either sit on our laps to eat or eat by himself at the kids table :-( read more

I like the service and the fact they have agave and oat milk and vegan breakfast goodies ..so over all I really like this business ..I have been a costumer for several years ..the one off 290 in Oak Hill ..2018 ..but summer moon did not accept cash today..so I was asked to use a debit card..I understand it's the owners right to refuse cash so that being said if it happens again I will not return ..I like using cash for most purchases .. read more

Yet to even have my coffee and I'm compelled to write this review because Alondra and Jacob have given me amazing service. I frequent Starbucks but came here because the drive through ability, I'm lazy but for some reason came in. Grateful i made that choice because Jacob was very knowledgeable and kind and that can be said for everyone I encountered. Beetles Radio playing, awesome place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

Summer Moon Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Kyle, Texas

Super bummed! Just moved to Kyle and decided to go here and support local instead of the corporate giant, Starbucks. Ordered a chai latte with almond milk. After I paid and was given the drink she told me there was milk in the "chai powder" that they use. Obviously I wish I was informed of this item having dairy when I ordered it and it only came up because I asked what their "Moon Milk" was (has dairy). I told the gal that I don't drink milk or dairy and even after she was made aware that I can't enjoy this chai latte, I wasn't offered to get a different beverage even after I had already paid for it. I'm super bummed because I just wasted $5- literally I poured it down the drain and now I have a headache from lack of caffeine. I'm also VERY disappointed that a local coffee shop would use a powdered chai... I guess I'm spoiled with local artisan coffee shops having lived in Austin and other cities. Cenote makes the most amazing chai in-house! Anyway, just wanted to do the business's job and warn vegans (are there any in Kyle?) and dairy-free folks about this. Sad day. read more

I've been living in Austin for 10 years and I just tried this place recently. My friend took me here and I am hooked. I usually get the quarter winter moon. It is the perfect combination for me. I don't like my coffee too sweet. If you get high in the "moons" it becomes a lot sweeter. I wish they sold it separately so I can add to my coffee at home. read more

This new location is perfect for the residents of Kyle, and the coffee and food are great. The store front is well kept, beautiful aesthetic, and an amazing staff. But PLEASE turn DOWN the music. Not once have I come here and noticed the music at an appropriate level. Everyone tries to talk over the music, and there are plenty of people here holding small meetings/gatherings and studying/working. Despite my best efforts to bring headphones in or ignore the music it is simply too loud. Don't get me wrong, I'm only 22 and I love Justin Bieber and Beyoncé as the next person. But I don't need a concert session at the quaint coffee shop in my neighborhood. read more

I had this coffee everyday sometimes twice a day! This coffee is addicting and I wish I could've taken the moon milk back with me to Cali because I've been craving it since I left. The Fireside blend in the k-cups is the only thing that is getting me through until I visit again. Best coffee and highly recommend especially if you don't want to support that billion dollar burnt coffee company read more

I love Summer Moon but the Kyle location is the reason for only 2 stars. The Kyle location is not consistent with their drinks. That's a huge problem when you go expecting a particular drink and it's noticeably different. From watered down, to not-so-fresh coffee, etc. The cafe itself is cute, spacious, plenty of tables and outlets. Just bring up your barista game! read more

Love summer moon we drive 25 minutes as the offerings near our house are abysmal. I wish they had more food offerings or were not ALWAYS out of plain Jane doughnuts but the latte is all I really need. read more

This is my very first Yelp review. I am truly offended and upset that I feel as though I need to write this. Love the Coffee. The staff's behavior is unacceptable. I find it unacceptable to be talked about, to my face, by the baristas. I went to the shop around 10am, the guy who took my order was very kind. But as I went down the bar, to the other end to pick up my drink, all I hear is "that is the girl who ordered 4 shots in her coffee last time. Doesn't she look like the character form Big Mouth?" (They continued to laugh at me and kept talking about my appearance) If you are unaware of the show, it is a Netflix Original Cartoon with VERY UGLY characters. The baristas were so focused on talking about me that they made my order wrong. I didn't notice until I made it to my car. I felt as though I couldn't go back inside without getting reprimanded. This was not the only instance. The VERY FIRST time I came to your shop the SAME BARISTA instigated the conversation where they were talking about my order. It is unacceptable that there was no management available for me to talk to. I called the shop after leaving, to talk to the store manager, or any management. I was told that no management would be in today. I personally take issue with there being NO MANAGER there at that time. I was talked about, made fun of, and walked away with an incorrect order. When I called the shop one of the baristas (Kayla, I believe) said that she would relay my concerns to the Assistant Manager and he will be giving me a call. He did, in fact, called me and apologized for the incident. He told me "that he has seen me in the shop multiple times" and even "looked me up on Facebook before he called me" he said "that I don't look like the characters from the show" I personally don't see what the purpose of him looking me up on Facebook was. I have also only been to the shop TWICE and BOTH TIMES I was talked about. Why should I even return? The Assistant Manager told me "he has had issues with this barista in the past, and will be writing him up" My issue is, why is this barista still an employee? I've only been there twice. There has been a correlation, I've been the ONLY African American in the shop both times. He doesn't talk about anyone, but me. Not the person in front of me and not the person behind me. I am truly hurt by the comments that were made. And I am saddened that other customers may have been dealing with this as well. One bad apple spoils the bunch. This barista is the instigator and the others follow and even go along with his actions. I truly have an issue with these baristas not having a supervisor today And also if there was a supervisor there, at my FIRST visit at your location. When they were talking about me and my order, I don't understand why there wasn't management intervention. read more

So addicted to this Moon Milk! The location is near and easy to drive thru on way to work. All the staff has been pleasant and helpful. Even gives my dog a treat when she eye to ride with me. The Summermoon Latte and Bluemoon Latte's are my favorites so far. Haven't had a chance to sit inside but loved the small table for kids to sit and color while drinking some coffee. read more

Super cool and quaint! Taylor was awesome in helping us decide and even talked me into "moon milk" in my coffee, way out of my comfort zone! Highly recommend, local and evidently really happy associates. read more

I love Summermoon but this locations customer service is horrible! The staff is rude and condescending. They are slow, and my drinks are never stirred properly or they are missing a component altogether. After 3 times through the drive through I STILL had to go inside to make my drink they way I had ordered it at the window... When I finally had had enough and thought to let the Manger know she acted like I was insulting her and brushed me off. I will not go there anymore. read more

the drinks are always tasty! and the customer service is good, but they always forget things on my order

Honestly some of the best lattes I've ever had. Came to visit my sister in Kyle and was so happily surprised to find this little spot after I got my nails done. The staff is so nice and efficient! I would recommend this place to everyone I know if I was local. Quarter winter moon latte was perfect for someone who doesn't like too much sweetness and the barista explained everything so easily to me on her recommendations. For a 20 z iced latte it was $6 & worth any penny. I've gone everyday I have been visiting. 10000/10 go go go!! read more

Excellent coffee at non-starbucks prices. It's great to be able to get my fix and support a local Texas business as it branches out. I spent over three hours here, catching up with a friend. Time flew by, seating and tables were comfortable, temperature was perfect, and coffee/tea was great. read more

Excellent coffee, sweet employees. There is a kid area with a little table and chairs and toys. Diaper changer in the women's bathroom, and they are trying to install one in the men's too... apparently there is electrical wiring in the way right now. I always wholly appreciate kid and baby-friendly businesses!!! Lots of seating and always pretty clean. Great neighborhood hangout read more

Great place for coffee, not so much for the food. However, the half moon latte makes up for many errors.

This is my favorite coffee shop! Meagan, Rodney, Summer, Regan and the rest of the crew are awesome! The service is excellent and the crew is upbeat and friendly. You can't go wrong stopping by for food or drinks. read more

I am a huge Summer Moon fan and loyal customer but not a huge fan of this location. I always get a coffee with almond moon milk and it never tasted the same. I wish all employees get training on consistency of products so fo loyal customers like myself, we can expect the same great taste. read more

This has nothing to do with the coffee or the staff, but you guys need to get better coffee cups or lids. I've spilt coffee on myself twice due to the lid falling off...the cup gets really soft leading to the lid falling off. read more

Coffee is always amazing!! Service top notch and always friendly! Only bummer is that sometimes no places to sit and visit with friends because all tables are usually taken by 1 person working on computer, which I get because I sometimes do it too...but it's all good. read more

Love this place! I'm so glad they have a Kyle location now, since it's closer to where we live. And it's a much bigger and more spacious place than the Buda location, which makes it awesome for meeting people! Very friendly staff as well - I've never had anything but great interactions with their employees. I'm not much of a coffee drinker (even though all of my friends are) so I appreciate that they have breakfast tacos, tea options, and the frozen hot chocolate when I'm looking for a sweet treat. A great addition to Kyle and I'm glad they're a part of our community now! read more

This is the worst Summermoon I've been to yet, I love Summermoon, but very disappointed in this one. Everytime I have visited this one, the staff are "hanging out" behind the counter not doing anything. When anyone comes in they look annoyed we came in to order anything & they take a long time to complete any order, they show no sense of urgency at all. Also, the counter tops & bar area were filthy with food & trash all over. The floors were absolutely disgusting & every table that was free had stuff all over them. The staff just sit behind the counter doing nothing. Again, very disappointed with this Summermoon because I've been to others & this one is not near the quality of the others. read more

The coffee was wonderful, but the lady working the counter was very rude i think her name was Macy. When I asked for assistance she just seemed like she didn't care to help me. But other than that, this was some of the best coffee I have ever had. I will be back read more

So, I tried the tacos again today and again, they are about as thick as a tortilla. Tasty but disappointingly small for $3. You shouldn't have to pay $9 to get full for breakfast. read more

I have tried several times to make this a 5 star review. The staff are always nice, the preparation and delivery of a cup of coffee horrible. This morning for example my husband and I went to splurge for a nice cup of coffee. 6 bucks a cup is a splurge- so I'm expecting to get what I order. 1/2 moon, extra shot , extra hot. After waiting on n line to order and again for it to be made, my cup of coffee was luke warm at best and watered down beyond belief. What a waste! The inconsistency of a cup of coffee over the last three years between Buda and Kyle locations is about the only consistency you will find. It's a shame, because I loved it when I first tried it, but I'm done. Rather keep the 6 bucks and make my own hot cup of coffee. read more

Not really sure why people love this so much. It's like another Starbucks. I want real coffee. :(

The coffee is pretty good but can be hit or miss. Atmosphere is ok. The location is great. Nice having a coffee shop in downtown Buda. It would be nice if the owners supported locals businesses more. Doesn't seem like they have community spirit. Oh well. Guess you don't have to support. read more

I loved this place! Polite staff. Great Coffee. A lot of seating. Gets loud but nothing that some headphones can't fix if necessary. Great place to meet as a group. - Problem! NO WIFI - it's been down for a month or more and there is no real concern to fix it. Too bad. I had to go somewhere new. Rail House has coffee, there is also Wright's emporium. read more
