Amazing coffee, just right temp, perfect blend! Owner was so friendly. We were in town for a funeral, and just happened upon it!

From the moment you walk in, there's a charming gift shop filled with candles, books and home décor that immediately sets a nice vibe. A little further in is The Shop, which I didn't fully explore but I did notice they were serving ice cream shakes and soda floats, a nice touch especially for families. The highlight for me was definitely the bar, which flows from the indoor space out onto a spacious patio. The drink menu had something for everyone with a solid selection of local drafts, wine and an extensive cocktail list. I went with the cherry old fashioned, a creative twist on a classic that really delivered. Sipping that while taking in a breathtaking Hill Country sunset and listening to live music on the patio made for a perfect stop. This place is also incredibly kid-friendly, with designated play areas so parents can relax and enjoy themselves. There's even a separate market offering oven-baked pizza, fresh coffee and specialty grocery items. I popped in there as well and found the staff welcoming and the offerings thoughtfully curated. With plenty of parking, great drinks, live music and a laid-back atmosphere Oakwood Public Market is absolutely worth a stop if you're heading out to the Hill Country.

This is our third visit, and we've experienced the same problems each time, staff arriving late to the table and difficulty taking orders correctly. The young front-of-house staff seem undertrained or unsupported, and whether it's an age issue or a training issue, it's something that needs attention. There also appears to be a lack of professionalism behind the soda shop bar. Staff having friends come in to hang out is a clear distraction and seems to directly impact service, and during this visit I'm also watching a staff member eat at the bar chatting with her friends while guests are waiting. Service consistency matters, and repeated staff issues like this are what can send an otherwise great establishment downhill. I really hope management addresses this, because the food, drinks, and concept absolutely have strong potential.

Their coffee is very, very good, and they have a nice selection of high quality coffees. The service is great, friendly and fast. The owner has been there whenever I visited. Their cinnamon rolls are really, really good. It's a cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating. I believe the outdoor area is dog-friendly, but I'm not positive about that, so I suggest calling first to verify if you want to bring your pet. I highly recommend them.

The vibes are pretty chill and it looks like a good place to study and catch up on some work. They're known for their moon milk which I have learned is not just normal milk but a mix of milk, heavy cream, and vanilla flavoring apparently. I took some sips of my friends' iced coffee, which just tasted like standard iced coffee to me. I got their java chip moon glacier. Whopping 800 calories but it was my additional vacation treat of the day. Comes with whipped cream and it's java chips blended into their moon milk for an icy drink, think Frappucino but less creamy and a bit more watered down. Overall it was an alright drink but not enough of a pick me up for me. Maybe next time I'll try something different from their menu.

I originally thought it was just the front area with some double seating, oh no, there was a whole inside area wide open! So great!! There was also outside seating with yard games as well! They also had a van that converted into a photobooth so you can take pictures and send them to yourself for free, amazing! They had games where you can occupy some time with friends while drinking some cocktails. There's a merch shop out in front if you are fancing grabbing some shirts or any sort of thing! Loved their drinks - had their Espresso Martini and was definitely a fan of their Spicy Ranch Water! Service was also great, can't complain about that! The food did take a little longer for it to be ready which was a little annoying since I only ordered their queso with chips and their pork belly tips. Parking: seemed pretty easy from when we first got there, but I can assume it can be a little hard once it's busier.

I placed the order by email a couple weeks in advance and was told that someone would contact me for payment. No one did, and I called twice before someone actually took payment over the phone. She totaled it wrong when I questioned the high amount, then recalculated and came up with the right price. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the bakers, I said I would leave a cash tip when I picked up the pies. Apparently she didn't understand that, because when I came to pick up there was already a 25% tip added on, which I thought was rude. Every single pie (we ordered 4) had the driest crust and was hard to cut, even with a sharp kitchen knife. I ordered pies because I was on a tight time crunch with a lot of guests and thought it would save time. Hardly anyone took more than a couple bites and it was very embarrassing because I had hyped up the local bakery so much. They were pricey and not worth it at all. Every interaction with the bakery from the time of order to pick up was terrible. We are so burnt on this experience that we won't be coming back here during the rest of the year anymore. We trusted Thyme and Dough with a special holiday meal and it was ruined. It won't happen again.
