Avocado toast that cost $12 + tax!!

I hate to write a negative review to a local shop, but this is ridiculous. I've been coming here since they opened and the portions of their sandwich's changes every time. Their sandwiches used to be on two slices of sourdough and then today I received my avocado toast on one tiny slice of bread. This small avocado toast cost $12!!! On top of the extremely high prices and the now very small food portions, the wait time when I am the only one in the store is ridiculous. They have 3 people behind the counter and the average wait time for my sandwich's here averages 15-20 mins. I want to love this place and what they stand for but the insane prices, long wait times and significantly reduced portions is insane. I'll take my business next door to mazama.

Wonderful new addition to Dripping Springs! I really miss Southern squeeze and Franklin Juice in Tennessee...the juice options in Texas have been very disappointing until now. Alchemy is a nice option for organic cold pressed juices. Service is very friendly and the space is beautiful! I usually try to make this a regular stop on the weekends. Beat the never ending heat wave with sweet greens! Perfect poolside drink or enjoy after a morning hike. Let me know your favorite!

They have the best gluten-free pizzas I've ever tasted, their tacos and bowls are fantastic, and their chicken sandwich is my favorite! If you value clean eating (seed oil free, organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised, etc.) that tastes delicious, I HIGHLY recommend Nectarine!

i really love supporting local businesses (even though I had Panda Express last night and it was…read morefantastic!), especially when I see places like this pop up in Dripping! The vibe and decor is incredible, and I really feel there is so much potential here. I wasn't aware that it was all gluten free until after the fact, but I would still want to try more of their offerings. I thought the breakfast tacos were fine, but no reason that 2 should cost $15 You can take all of the gluten out and stamp it organic and yada yada yada but that's just silly. The avocado toast seemed to be very heavy on balsamic glaze, and the bread (now that I know it's GF it makes more sense) was okay. I think perhaps they don't have adequate HVAC as they had the front doors open (on a lovely Texas November day in the low 80s ha) which meant there were flies everywhere (including food/beverages) and that took away from it. The ppl who worked there were super nice but probably not most efficiently used as the tacos came out in 3 min and had to wait like 10 more min for the avo toast (which the tacos were brought to table but avo toast you pick up from the coffee area, so a bit confusing). I hope they can improve some of these things because it can truly be a fantastic Dripping Springs spot

I would like to preface this review by saying we have been weekly customers for over 2 years since…read moremoving here. However: Extremely disappointed with our holiday pie order. I placed the order by email a couple weeks in advance and was told that someone would contact me for payment. No one did, and I called twice before someone actually took payment over the phone. She totaled it wrong when I questioned the high amount, then recalculated and came up with the right price. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip for the bakers, I said I would leave a cash tip when I picked up the pies. Apparently she didn't understand that, because when I came to pick up there was already a 25% tip added on, which I thought was rude. Every single pie (we ordered 4) had the driest crust and was hard to cut, even with a sharp kitchen knife. I ordered pies because I was on a tight time crunch with a lot of guests and thought it would save time. Hardly anyone took more than a couple bites and it was very embarrassing because I had hyped up the local bakery so much. They were pricey and not worth it at all. Every interaction with the bakery from the time of order to pick up was terrible. We are so burnt on this experience that we won't be coming back here during the rest of the year anymore. We trusted Thyme and Dough with a special holiday meal and it was ruined. It won't happen again.

Such a nice surprise to find this new Texas Juice Company location recently opened just down the…read morestreet from our Hancock neighborhood in Canyon Lake! Our family loves to get up early on the weekends and do trail runs or kayaking at good spots around the north side of Canyon Lake, so a delicious fresh-pressed juice is the perfect post-workout refresher. I just had to stop in when I saw the "Open" sign illuminated last Saturday morning. Turns out they have a curated selection of fresh juices (all priced at $8 for 12 oz), they also serve a small menu of snacks, non-vegan hot breakfast sandwiches ($7), all-natural snow cones ($5), and even adult brunch drinks ($4-$8). There's also free wifi and plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. My "Heavy Green" was just what I was craving, a Popeye's power-up with several living vegetable juices and a pinch of Himalayan salt. My partner went with the sweetest option on the menu of the day, the "Peach Punch" with pineapple and watermelon, of which he saved half to make a perfect cocktail later. The manager, Jeff, was super-friendly and someone I'd love to see succeed as a small biz owner. From reviewing his social media posts, it looks like he has great plans to offer local delivery and weekly cleanse packages, as well. If you're on the north side of Canyon Lake and looking for a healthy, refreshing snack option, Texas Juice Company is the place for you! Know before you go: Same strip center as House of CBD, across 306 from the entrance to Canyon Park and Brookshire Brothers grocery.
