It was our first time here and let me just say... everything was beyond expectations. As someone with celiac disease, it is SO rare to find a place that is not only completely gluten free, but actually tastes incredible too. We ordered a variety of items to share as a family including tacos, pizza, chicken and waffles, pastries, and drinks. Everything was packed with flavor. The pastries especially shocked me in the best way possible. The cinnamon roll was fluffy, soft, flavorful, and honestly one of the best gluten free pastries I've ever had. Most gluten free pastries I've tried elsewhere are dry, hard, crumbly, or taste like cake, but here they really perfected their recipes. You can tell they put a lot of time and care into the food. The oatmeal cream pie was TO DIE FOR. Probably one of my favorite things we tried. It was soft, sweet, flavorful, and did not taste "gluten free" at all. The yuzu citrus galette was also SO good and had such a fresh citrus flavor without being overpowering. Honestly all three pastries were amazing and I genuinely wish I could've ordered another round of all of them to go in like a 12-pack I also loved that they offered vegan crema and vegan cheese options. They even had a few GF & DF pastry options which I appreciated because those are honestly hard to find. A lot of their pastries also use alternative milks and it seemed like butter was the main dairy ingredient in many of them. I definitely hit the trifecta with gluten, dairy, and eggs lol, so eating out can sometimes be difficult. Finding truly gluten free places anywhere is honestly pretty rare, so when you find somewhere that is both safe and actually delicious, it feels amazing. I always carry Lactaid, Benadryl, and my EpiPen just in case. Thankfully my egg allergy is mild, but you never know. Let's just say everything looked way too good not to try and honestly... worth it. The BBQ chicken pizza was really good and the crust itself had great texture and flavor. It was on the thicker side, so I personally think a little more topping would balance it out better because sometimes it tasted a little more bread-heavy than BBQ chicken, but overall still delicious. The chicken and waffles were SO good too. They use plantain to crust the chicken which was honestly really unique and flavorful. I only had a bite to try it though because I unfortunately also have a mild banana allergy but like I said... I keep that thang on me lol. The only thing I personally would not order again was the Strawberry Matcha drink. It did not taste like a traditional matcha to me. I expected more matcha flavor, but mostly tasted coconut and strawberry foam. It just wasn't for me, but I would definitely come back to try their other drinks and refreshers because they have some really unique options. The menu itself is HUGE. They have breakfast, pizzas, sandwiches, lunch specials, pastries, cocktails, coffee drinks, and more. The location is kind of hidden but so worth finding. They even have a drive-thru. The inside is super cute with earthy, cozy, chill vibes and the patio/outdoor area was very well maintained. The staff was also incredibly kind and attentive. They constantly checked in, answered all our questions, and made the experience even better. I seriously wish a place like this existed near my house in California because I would absolutely be here all the time. This place is honestly a gluten free dream. Nectarine is a new restaurant in Dripping Springs, TX ! What initially sparked my attention with this place is that it's entirely GLUTEN-FREE!!!! There's a nice outdoor patio area in front of the entrance and a kid-friendly play area to the right, across from the drive through window! Upon entrance, I was wowed by the clean and airy look and feel. There's a large community table for larger groups or social-seekers. Ordering was a little confusing as it wasn't clear where the line forms for ordering. They offer a large selection of coffee drinks, pastries, soups, sandwiches, and alcoholic drinks. What I also loved was their selection of lesser known bottled drinks such as their sea moss-infused coconut water, which was awesome! i really love supporting local businesses (even though I had Panda Express last night and it was fantastic!), especially when I see places like this pop up in Dripping! The vibe and decor is incredible, and I really feel there is so much potential here. I wasn't aware that it was all gluten free until after the fact, but I would still want to try more of their offerings. I thought the breakfast tacos were fine, but no reason that 2 should cost $15 You can take all of the gluten out and stamp it organic and yada yada yada but that's just silly. The avocado toast seemed to be very heavy on balsamic glaze, and the bread (now that I know it's GF it makes more sense) was okay. I think perhaps they don't have adequate HVAC as they had the front doors open (on a lovely Texas November day in the low 80s ha) which meant there were flies everywhere (including food/beverages) and that took away from it. The ppl who worked there were super nice but probably not most efficiently used as the tacos came out in 3 min and had to wait like 10 more min for the avo toast (which the tacos were brought to table but avo toast you pick up from the coffee area, so a bit confusing). I hope they can improve some of these things because it can truly be a fantastic Dripping Springs spot read more

Really dig it but these prices feel like NYC. It might make sense to have fewer more affordable options.

Waited in line for 25 minutes to order and then was told, "sorry we stop serving breakfast after 11:30." It was 11:33! We ordered a pizza thinking we'd just have lunch. It was not good. So many gluten free and food allergy/sensitivity options! Very excited about this place. Cafe has great ambiance and friendly staff.

I bought 6 pastries and 2 breakfast tacos. The breakfast tacos with egg, avocado, bacon, potato, and gluten free tortilla with a small side of fruit, strawberry and blueberry. And a small side of salsa. I really wanted to pay attention to taste. I am not a gluten free person, or have allergies to food. But I know I can taste a difference in gluten free and not gluten free foods. There's like an after taste. Even sometimes a cardboard taste. And look, gluten free tortillas crack and fall apart. I ate 2 tacos without falling apart. The tortilla had a wonderful taste. Nothing after taste about it. The egg wasn't fluffy and scrambled, it was flat and rolled up like. Which meant it was all intact like 1 piece. Scrambled eggs fall out the back of the taco. And I thought this was genius. Nothing fell out the back by the way. Not even the potatoes. Which were diced small and flavorful and well seasoned. Avocado was rich and creamy, as avocados are. The bacon was savory and crisp, but not crunchy and hard. A nice crisp. I ate one taco with the salsa. And the other taco without. The side of salsa is small. Salsa doesn't have any heat to it. It's just a typical salsa. And I was good with just one so I could experience the taco for just what it was. Strawberries and blueberries were fresh and sweet and very ripe. Okay, now to the goodness of pasties. I bought 6 pastries. I didn't eat all 6 in a day. Took me 4 days. As far as clean ingredients. You'll have to read up on them. They are all gluten free. But some are gluten free and dairy free. And some are this and that. I don't know what DFO is, I think P is paleo. V is vegan. But again, I'm not any of these dietary sensitivities. So I don't know what they are for sure. But I'm pretty sure if you have sensitivities, they have something for you. The first thing I had was half of the oatmeal cookie with a whipped cream filling. Not an oatmeal person, but I'm not against it either. This was a true test. I enjoyed this oatmeal cookie with filling so much. I could really taste this nuttiness to it. The filling was light, fluffy, airy and not sweet at all. Not a harsh sugary taste. Really was amazing. Later that night I had the other half. It really was that good. in the afternoon I had half of the hostess cupcake. Super moist. I mean, I was shocked how amazing this cupcake was. The chocolate just tastes different. American chocolate is sugary, this was just a chocolate taste, not like a sweet taste. This can't be American chocolate! totally blown away. Just lovely, and I will buy the hostess cupcake again. Monday morning I ate the whole blueberry muffin with breakfast. I added lemon olive oil to it instead of butter. Which, oh my gosh. Was smashing. The sweet blueberries with lemon olive oil, like heaven. They really held up on freshness and moistness. I did bring the Whoopie pie to work for a snack after lunch. I'm from Maine. And their state dessert is the Whoopie pie, I grew up on these babies. So I know Whoopie pies! And this is NOTHING, like what I grew up on. Moist, and again that chocolate, not American, it's not sugary, it's chocolatey. I can't explain it. It's not sweet, it's just chocolate flavor, and it boggles my mind. The filling is fluffy, light, airy again like the oatmeal cookie filling, just a lovely velvety texture. The last 2 pastries were the chocolate croissant and lemon loaf slice. The croissant was very butter, a little dense then fluffy and airy, but this was 3 days old now. The lemon loaf slice with a glaze on top was very moist, a nice tart lemon but still sweet with the glaze. was a wonderful breakfast treat. So thankful to have learned about this hidden gem in Dripping Springs. Might need to move here to be closer. Bravo to the staff that made this first time experience a great treat. read more

This is still my whole family's favorite place to eat in the area. However, we are disappointed that they've started closing early on Sundays. That's the only day we can usually get together, and it's always at dinner time. However, I appreciate that they are being considerate of their employees and their families to give them this time off to be together. They were one of the few places open for dinner in Dripping Springs on Sundays, so now we're having to drive into Austin. read more

Worked this morning to get the breakfast Sammy with sausage.. first let's start with the customer service. It was very nice. The baristas were friendly. The lady at checkout was very friendly as well.. however back to the breakfast Sammy.. I feel the sausage on the sandwich was pre-cooked sausage links something you would buy at H-E-B. The spread that they put on the sandwich was a little spicy to my taste, and the bread was not good.. The environment was great. Cozy, clean and comfortable. The vanilla latte was delicious. The menu looked awesome. The only complaint I have relates to how management handled my order being wrong. I ordered the tacos and clearly read the menu for the ingredients. I asked for them to avoid putting the onions in the tacos. I get my order and yay, no onions; however, they had arugula. I detest the taste of arugula!!! I asked the manager if that was indeed arugula in the tacos and double checked the menu to make sure I didn't miss it. He said yes, And I informed him that I hate arugula. He said ok and walked away. Because I was starving and in a hurry, I just picked out the arugula (could still taste it though) and ate the tacos. Aside from the arugula, the tacos were very tasty. I went back to the register to buy a dessert and relayed to him that in my experience, when a customer complains about an order being wrong, most managers offer to make it right. He told me there was some issue with the menu being updated or something like that. He did apologize but still didn't at offer to give me a discount or at least a cookie. I'm just used to better customer service from managers. Anyway. I will probably be back. I hope this manager learns from this and ups his management game for the next customer who gets the wrong food!! read more

This place is a gem. It definitely tailors to a crowd that prefers gluten free, organic ingredients. It has a cool vibe and is an easy place to stay and hang indoors or out. The ingredients are good and it does come at a higher price tag, but for food that makes me feel good, it's worth it to me. We've been there a lot since it's opening and everything we've ordered has been great, and the service is good. The only critique I can offer is the bread used as the gluten free toast option. It's a bit dense and heavy and I would love the option for some of the amazing local baked gf breads instead.. Otherwise this place is a worthy addition to Dripping Springs. read more
