Finally a genuine local mom pop coffee shop that we all needed south in driftwood. Stepping into this lounge gives you all the feels of a cozy living room. This local shop has a focus on connecting the community and you feel it when you step in. Owners are super genuine and kind! Spots to squat inside or out on their spacious patio to get some work done or meet other folks! Delicious coffee concoctions! My go to for a dirty chai latte. Look for the red barn, come for the awesome roasts, and stay for the connections.

It's things like Sonder which make you so grateful for living in the Texas Hill Country. Amazing vibe, decor, great coffee and breakfast tacos also! Really friendly family owned biz and I'm so happy I finally came. Will def. be returning!

Living out in the country can mean missing coffee shops and some city luxuries we used to have in Houston. But Sonder Coffee Lounge is only a 10 minute drive and gives us exactly what we love in a coffee shop! Friendly people and good coffee! We love the cool collective vibe for chats and work meetings ups as well.

common area to hangout and study

this is a very hidden place!! its very calm, quiet and has good atmosphere. the owner is nice and drinks are good. cute place to hang out and study. love this!!

This is by far my favorite coffee shop around Austin. I drive 45 minutes at least once a week to visit. It's the perfect place to do some work, there's so many comfy couches and tables to sit at and they even have lap desks you can use and pillows and blankets. It's really feels like a home. Their drinks are amazing, there's so many types of cold foams and flavors they can really make anything you want if you just tell them a few of your favorite flavors. Such a nice family and their cute dog run the place and you can really see their passion in the space. I love all the animals in the area too. There are some horses that live next to the building and deer always around

Coffee to me is not just a drink, but an experience that I wake up looking forward to. Sonder Coffee Lounge to me a full experience, with the most amazing vibe, esthetically beautiful decor, warm and loving owners and the most delicious coffee! I live in Round Rock and work in Westlake and on a weekly basis, I make a drive out to have my beautiful experience at Sonder! The coffee shop is housed within a barn that was transformed in the most elegant and beautiful manner! Beautiful decor from plants to amazing crystals to inspiring books and fun tarot cards! I could spend hours here and not get bored! As a small business owner I love supporting local businesses! If you're looking for an aesthetically, beautiful boho chic, meets Harry Potter, mystical coffee lounge with awesome owners in a serene location, this is your coffee shop!

Meridian is in downtown Buda and is connected to Zoi Wellness. We were able to park in the parking lot across the street. Upon walking in, the space had a rustic loft feel with lots of greenery. The furniture made it feel very cozy. I honestly didn't expect to find a coffee shop like this in Buda. The barista was very nice and gave recommendations. My mom and I both ordered Iced Pecan Pie Lattes which was a seasonal drink that they were featuring. We ordered our drinks to go, but then decided to sit in the cafe and enjoy our beverages. The coffee is legit! We both liked our beverages. I really enjoyed the pecan flavor and the sweetness level was perfect. The barista informed us that they make all of their syrups in house. I noticed that there were plenty of outlets for work or study. There's quite a bit of seating including couches. They have QR codes at each table that you can order from which is so convenient. In addition to coffee (which is served until 5 pm), they also have wellness drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. They have a nice sized stage for live music. I would love to go back in the evening for a cocktail and live music! I'm so happy to have discovered this gem in Buda!

My small latte, with only 1/2 shot of espresso was $5.95 that I purchased one week ago. Yes, the prices have steadily increased over the year, but I accepted that due to inflation and competition. What I cannot tolerate is that in one week my drink went from $5.95 to $7.33. I wish my salary followed Winston's unbelievable increase in one week. P.S. Winston's reached out to me and following up on several emails, I now understand why the latte charge had increased. Apparently, I hit the button for tip, not realizing it, and when I questioned the server, she just said that was the price of the latte. All is good. I will get my latte from Winston's again.

Honestly, I told my husband it could be a spot I'd be a regular at if the changes keep trending the way they are! Loved the new bartop and setup, and how it has an alternative feel to it between the look and music. Nice that it's not just another sports bar. The service was great, and everyone got a really genuine greeting when they walked through the door (which has been lacking on menchaca lately). Loved the option of late night food as well. It's not the kind of spot where you go for a full meal, but for a quick bite or a coffee break, it works just fine. The coffee was actually nice, smooth, not too bitter. I also ordered a sandwich, and that part didn't go as smoothly. They completely forgot about it, so my friend and I ended up sitting there for almost half an hour before we finally went inside to ask about it. Only after that did they bring it out. It wasn't a huge deal, but it definitely took away from the experience. Inside, though, the atmosphere wasn't quite my style. The interior is noticeably dark, and it felt a bit heavy, so I didn't feel like staying indoors for long. But the outdoor seating completely changed the experience. Outside it's much brighter and more welcoming, with a comfortable, relaxed vibe. If the weather is good, it's honestly a great spot to sit for a while, drink your coffee, and just slow down a bit.

The music was great and set at just the right volume, which made it easy to relax, enjoy the meal and hear the conversation. That said, the decor could use a bit of improvement. No offense to the artist, but the prints felt a little odd and too small for the wall space. The overall layout of the restaurant could also be better--it didn't feel as cohesive as the food and service deserved. Also, the hardwood seats could use some padding for both the back and bottom to make longer visits more comfortable. All in all, definitely worth checking out for the food and atmosphere, with just a few areas that could be elevated.
