It is the cutest little coffee shop with ample seating inside and out. There is street parking available, which was easy enough to find on a Tuesday morning and also a lot in the back. I was with my 2 kids so we ordered a sugar cookie, mango + pear smoothie, croissant (with ham, egg, and swiss cheese), and I got myself their seasonal speciality (blackberry matcha). Everything was so delicious! To no surprise, my kids scarfed down the cookie to which I can only assume was delicious. I did get to try a bite of the ham, egg, and swiss croissant and it was delicious. The croissant was perfectly flakey! The smoothie tasted super fresh. However, the star of the show was definitely the iced blackberry matcha latte. What a unique and delicious flavor! A tad on the sweet side for me so in the future, I might ask for half sweet; but this will have to be stop whenever we are in the area.

Our drinks were served piping hot, and had a strong, robust and delicious flavor. The chocolate chip banana bread left much to be desired. It was very dense and served cold. In retrospect I should've asked if they could warm it up - I'd recommend asking for any of their pastries as otherwise it's served cold. I would have appreciated it if they proactively offered this option. The space is big and comfortable to work in, socialize, or have some quality "me" time.

There's a thoughtfully curated mix of gifts, home decor and clothing, and I almost always find something I want. They also have a whole tincture wall, which is something you don't exactly see every day. I haven't done a tincture appointment myself, but the bar next door uses some of them in their mocktails. Great for peeps like me cause I don't drink alcohol. What I like most is that the whole space feels like somewhere you can actually hang out for a while instead of just shop and leave. There's plenty of seating next door, and I try to get over there for the free comedy night on Tuesdays, but they've got something going there every night of the week. Music, open mic, and I think I saw Bingo on the board last time I was there. It's a fun, slightly unusual little corner of Main Street and exactly the kind of place I wish Buda had more of.

This may officially be the best kids restaurant/coffee/bar spot in all of Austin. I'm talking playground, swing, climbing gym, massive green yard, and plenty of shaded tables. To top it all off, there is an additional bar right along side. It's brand new, so they are still working out the kinks/trying to expand. A few things to call out. 1. They only have the one kitchen, so it can get pretty backed up. 2. No additional bathrooms, but they are working with the city to allow it. 3. Parking can get tight, curious how they will try and tackle this.

I don't normally do reviews, but unfortunately, this was not the greatest experience. I came here…read morebecause I wanted a chai latte as the first place that I went to was closed. I checked their website ahead of time and they had it on their menu, served iced or hot. I get there and the lady tells me it's only served cold and then just assumed I wanted espresso, thankfully she asked if I wanted extra before making it so that I could correct her. Then she makes it with ice?? Which I have to tell her absolutely not, especially considering I already said that o wanted it hot? She then handed me the remade drink saying, "hope you have a better day" as I go to leave... when the poor experience was the only negative thing to happen to me today. The taste of the chai and the overall setup of the place saved this from being a one star review. (Visit: 7/11/26 at 4pm)

Duh, the hummus isn't supposed to be like that!! Maduros were great but $7 for such small portions is steep! So yes this place is expensive for the ambiance and service provided. The drinks were great but they are given in plastic cups rather than ceramic so it doesn't give you that cozy coffee shop or cafe feel Hive is trying to be!
