The furniture made it feel very cozy. I honestly didn't expect to find a coffee shop like this in Buda. The barista was very nice and gave recommendations. My mom and I both ordered Iced Pecan Pie Lattes which was a seasonal drink that they were featuring. We ordered our drinks to go, but then decided to sit in the cafe and enjoy our beverages. The coffee is legit! We both liked our beverages. I really enjoyed the pecan flavor and the sweetness level was perfect. The barista informed us that they make all of their syrups in house. I noticed that there were plenty of outlets for work or study. There's quite a bit of seating including couches. They have QR codes at each table that you can order from which is so convenient. In addition to coffee (which is served until 5 pm), they also have wellness drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. They have a nice sized stage for live music. I would love to go back in the evening for a cocktail and live music! I'm so happy to have discovered this gem in Buda!

Are you a coffee shop or a bar-- you are not great at being either right now. If you are looking for a quiet place to work, chill or have a conversation with a friend-- expect loudness, TVs on and blaring, and a coffee experience that is just mediocre. If you want a high quality cocktail experience, also not it-- a gin and tonic is a challenge here, god be with you if you order a Vesper. Things Progress can do better: Get clear on your vibe (classy and chill, or neighborhood bar for the youth). Develop a high-quality drink menu and train your staff on making that menu and general hospitality (welcome someone, ask them what they can make for them etc.). Either way, decide and make it the best. In short, this place has a lot of progress to make and earn my business.
