Always come here when I want some Thai food in Burbank. I usually get the drunken noodles but this time I I ordered the Salmon Curry Noodle and I was so happy with my meal!! It came with a good sized salmon fillet and lots of noodles in a delicious coconut curry sauce. I ate every bite! read more

Cute new Thai place in Burbank. Unlike other hole in the wall Thai places, this one is quite trendy. It's small so seating is limited and you may have to wait for a table. It seems like it's run by a young family, so go support your local restaurant and peeps! For apps, we tried the sausage, which was delicious. The chix wings were AWESOME - super crispy and great flavor; we like fish sauce so it was a definite hit. I had the ground chicken and green beans over rice with an egg on top - it was quite tasty but a touch too sweet. We also tried the curry, which had a nice flavor but unfortunately there was way too much rice. Instead of putting the rice on the side, they put the curry and rice in the same bowl, and we would've rather had it separate. Overall, great ambiance and good food. Stopped by here on the way home to OC. Had good Yelp reviews. Yelp pulled through!!! We came at 7pm and luckily still got seats. This place is really small. It has about 6 tables and some bar stools. Service is quick and friendly. All the food we tried was delicious! We had the egg rolls, pad see ew, beef panang and sticky mango rice. The beef panang is SO GOOD! A must try!!! Hello! Hello. Hello? Let it be said straight away - great food. 5 stars on the food. But 2 stars on the service. Context: I define one star service as rude, angry, and perhaps hostile that verges on a fight. Does this happen to me often, you might wonder? Well no, but 1 star should be reserved for something. 2 stars in this case is due to the fact that this restaurant seats about twenty people, and yet the staff manage to forget that once you are seated you might be interested in drinks, or food, or most likely both. Once any of the above arrives, God help you if there is something that goes along with it that is forgotten (think sugar for tea, hot sauce with the dish, refills, water). All of this culminates in an anxiety-ridden experience where you gotta be on the ball and get in full and complete orders quickly, and anticipate anything you might need in one fell swoop lest the dining experience stretch to 90 minutes, with 10 minutes reserved for consumption. And even then they are bound to forget something. 100+ minutes. This is not to say the staff are assholes. They are not. They seem nice when they grace your table with their presence. In fact, I'm certain I'd enjoy having a nice draft beer (there are 4 taps) with them, but I'd probably have to get it for us. The table next to me waited patiently for ten minutes just for someone to take his credit card (at his insistence, or perhaps the comedy could have continued until close, or until he decided enough was enough and revisit his youth and the good 'ol dine and ditch [I am not advocating dine and ditch]). There was enough time from when he finally paid and left until our request for the bill was answered for me to finish up the last book in Faulker's Snopes trilogy and fantasize about a self service register akin to Home Depot where I swipe my card on the way out. Or just get take out. The green curry chicken dumplings are delicious, like a Thai take on raviolis. Wings come 4 ways, and fall somewhere between good and great. They are no Pok Pok wings, but they are half the price. Also, I'm sure I could snag an order downtown and return before they come back to take the rest of my order. Pad Thai is a solid rendition of the classic. Isaan Sausage is a great beer snack and harks of Red Lion. Pad See You, but the servers do not. Thumbs up. The kitchen is banging it out. 3 stars for flavor - the food was delicious, had the pad see ew (sp?) and the fried egg dish 0 stars for timeliness - it took 20 minutes for the first dish and then another 6 for the second, we were the only new set of customers to walk in so I'm not sure what took so long 0 stars for food prep - we ordered a mango sticky rice and found a black hair in the rice, we pushed the piece aside and quickly found a second, short and curly and hoping it was a beard hair Give them some time and maybe they can work out the kitchen kinks but right now they are a little green to warrant me coming back again anytime soon. read more

My friend and I tried this place out for the first time tonight for a quick dinner and chat fest. It's a small but quaint place. Service was quick and with a smile. The egg roll appetizers though tiny and light were packed with flavor and taste pretty good. My rice, the Summer Fried rice was delicious! You don't need any soy sauce. It has chicken, shrimp, pineapple, cashews, raisins, onions and bell peppers. Again, I said delicious! My friend had the Pad See Ew or Yu and she said it was OK. She had it with tofu. I tasted it and it was ok. I also ordered these dumplings from the appetizer menu and the sauce they came in, a minty flavor - yum yum and yummy! The portion size was good. Parking sucks, it's on a corner in a busy little neighborhood. The waitress was really dry. Maybe she was having a bad night but I may go back and give it one more try. Hmm have to say this place definitely leaves me underwhelmed. This is probably my third time ordering take out - I was giving them another chance and got the pad thai and the pad see ew and I feel like they pretty much tasted the same. And MEH for both. I do like the garlic edamame but I felt the noodle dishes were just bland, in color and flavor. And the shrimp with the pad thai was sadly over cooked. Clearly it's a popular place but it's definitely not my cup of tea. read more

The food is great here but they need to speed things up a bit. Will still eat here and will most likely call in ahead of time to save ourselves valuable lunchtime minutes. 1 start for food and order taking. Want to waste your money on flavorless food? this is the place! I decided to try this place a few days ago. I placed an order for delivery with difficulty because of the person not speaking good English. Oh well it's LA so I didn't care. Both orders were wrong. What? Borh? Yup! I called the place and phone was passed around to 2 people. I ended up driving there because delivery time was 40 minutes. Got back home, opened the paper bag and surprise! Not only the order was wrong again they didn't include the second dish. On top of all that the food had no flavor. Only 2 shrimp in my food? We saw this place a few days ago and decided to try it. We went in late on a Saturday night and the place was full (already a good sign). The decor is perfect and the place feels very homey. The menu is simple, which I personally love. There is nothing worse than a cluttered menu. New restaurants can learn a lot from Summer Buffalo, it's better to have a few dishes that you do perfectly than a lot of dishes that are mediocre at best. We ordered the not so orange chicken with rice, tom yum soup and the pad see you. Every dish was authentic and full of flavor. The soup was probably my favorite. The broth is exactly what you want a broth taste like, sour and spicy. Another plus is that the portions are quite generous. I had to box half my plate. The prices were great too, the soup was $5 and each of our entrees were $9. Can't really beat those prices! I can't wait to come back and try the garlic edamame and the fried egg rolls! The service was good. The server checked on us and made sure we always has everything we needed. I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant! read more

I've lived in Burbank for several years now, and as an avid Thai food fan, I've hit up many local mediocre That restaurants in the area. It is an understatement to say that I'm elated to have found this GEM! I went with a couple of friends and we were immediately impressed with the decor and the general vibe. It has a young, hip aesthetic that is very appealing. Our server (whose name I did not catch) was so warm and friendly! It is the best Thai food I've had in California, and I don't say so lightly! I had a delicious - and incredibly spicy Tom Ka soup and my Pad Thai was AMAZING! And trust me, you gotta start out with the garlic edamame. We were quite impressed with the pricing too! Came here for dinner for the first time this week per some recommendations from friends. First impressions: This place is small but cozy. It's pretty dark inside (Probably better during lunch). The restaurant was clean. Not overly noisy. It appears to be run by a young couple, the wife waited our table and was friendly. The menu is limited, but had diverse enough choices. They are strict about substitutions. I tried their Thai iced tea and orange chicken. Our table also ordered their Pad See You and Drunken Noodles. The food didn't all come out at once, but it didn't take too long to get everything on the table. The food was surprisingly yummy for the Burbank area. All in all, it was a nice experience. Placed a pick up order through their website for a few dinners for my work. It was ready to go when I arrived and it all smelled heavenly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The one downside is that there's no way to add a note to a meal on their website. So if you don't want something in the dish, like green onion, there's no way to let them know unless you call. Super nice service and great place for dine in or pick up. They do deliver but make sure the orders are small. They aren't a big group order kind of place. They have lunch specials that are valid even on the weekends. I got their orange chicken to go and it was just what I want in orange chicken. Sweet sauce with nice chunks of chicken with a bit of fried crisp to the chicken. It's on Glenoaks so not too hard to look up. I will definitely be back to try more of their food. Came here for the first time for dinner on Friday. We usually go towards Pasadena for Thai food, but I am always on a hunt for new options, as Thai is one of my favorites. This is a cute little restaurant on Glenoaks right on the border of Glendale and Burbank. It was nice inside with a lot of reclaimed wood and cushions on the booth to sit on. We started with the chicken dumplings, which were in a yummy coconut broth. Highly recommended! I had the pad see ew (my usual fave) and my boyfriend had the pad kee mau. We both liked our dishes. But I will say that I am not a big fan of the Double Chicken brand sriracha sauce they have here - it tasted almost tomatoey to me. I much prefer the Huy Fung brand but then again I am kind of a hot sauce nerd! I just wish there was maybe another option of chili sauce available, like the other Thai restaurants that have the little condiment containers they can bring to the table. Next time we will have to try to the orange chicken, as it looked really good! We'll definitely be back. read more

The chef here truly understands great taste and the beauty of food. The service is also excellent. On our first visit the chef prepared us a surprise dish and we were all thrilled. All of the appetizers are amazing. The shrimp curry noodles are divine. The green curry is also so well balanced and delectable. The sweet and spicy chicken wings will bring joy to your lips. Yummy! Finally, the coconut ice cream with sweet sticky rice and crumbled peanuts will literally blow your mind. I don't usually order dessert, but I am so happy I did. Chicken Fried Rice-The rice was a little soggy. Seems like too much water was added to the rice. Summer Buffalo Wings with the Sweet n Tangy Sauce-Crispy, tasty and delicious. This place is not very Vegetarian friendly due to the fact that all curries are pre-made with fish sauce. They will make any of the pan fried dishes Vegetarian/Vegan, so I had the vegetable fried rice and the Tom Kha Tofu soup (also ask for this vegetarian). Went here for the first time yesterday and I LOVVVEEEE this place. We ordered Steamed Dumplings in Curry sauce which had coconut milk. Just the sauce you can drink like soup becuase the flavor was just so amazing. We also ordered beef Panang curry with white rice that had the perfect portion size, level of spice and tenderness in beef. Our friends ordered drunken noodles which were 10/10 and our other friend ordered Pad thai. The Pad thai with mixed meat only came with 1 shrimp so I would ask for more. This is my go to spot whenever I have class. My favorite dish to order is Tum yum and a side of rice, it's the perfect combo. Ive been here many, many, many times and I've tried everything in the menu and nothing has ever been a disappointment. Their service is good and bad sometimes but I'm not complaining about that. Why? Because I've been there when it's slow and I've had great customer service, and I've been there when they are super busy and they still try their best.
