The menu has many classics including gyros, shawarma, kabobs, and the fresh pita bread is a home run. Chicken tika masala 9/10 The pictures can't describe how creamy the sauce was. So rich in color, deep with flavor and the filled with chicken chunks. Of course, you have to dip the fresh baked pita bread into this to appreciate how amazing it was. Gyros 9/10 The gyro plate was more of a platter loaded with beef and lamb. The spices on the meat were so delicious and cooked to perfection. Every bite was balanced with the coolness from the hummus and lightness of the rice. We were treated to a sample of the Turkish coffee. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised how light and aromatic it was. Not bitter or burnt.

It's tender and flavorful. Our least favorite is the cut of lamb kabob. It's been too chewy. But the chicken is tender. They give two of everything except grape leaves. They only give one. The baba ghanouj was very tasty, the hummus was good, the pita was ok. It was warm, but small pieces. Salads and felafel were good. The service is generally good. And the ambiance is uniquely Lebanese.

However, we ordered the mango juice which was not fresh squeezed, it tasted like nectar. Not bad, but not fresh squeezed. Next time I will order the lemonade, it looked so good. We were a group of 6 and honestly the only good dish I had here was my friends lamb kebab - they were juicy and fresh and flavorful. Everyone else's food was very subpar. I probably will not dine here again. Mint tea was alright and Turkish coffee was okay - I've had better before. Again - I want to reiterate the service here was great! Our server was very sweet and kept checking on us. Baklava was meh - I could tell it has a lot of pistachio essence rather than real pistachios! Do not recommend

I had an amazing dining experience at Safta!…read more The wine list is well curated, both the BTG and bottle list was impressive. We chose an Areni wine, the Yacobian Hobbs. I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Additionally, I was so happy to see small boutique wine from the Santa Barbara area like Amevive and A Tribute to Grace. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant. Both taste explosions, done masterfully with a sauce, color and texture. This food is truly incredible, highly recommend. I am in Denver for work, anytime I travel back to Denver I will for sure return to Safta.

Coffee was fine but they gave such a large cup and it got cold right away and we felt bad for asking for refills when we still had a good amount left but cold. Lines weren't bad at all on a Sat morning. Basic American fruit/yogurt, bread, pastries. Deviled eggs. Prime rib was good The different types of sauces like baba ghounash, hummus, etc-- those were all really good mixed together with pita bread. Mediterranean salad was good. Cabbage was meh this time. No honeycomb this time :( :( :( I did not like ANY of the desserts. Neither did my partner. So I just had normal fruit/yogurt for dessert which seemed wasteful. Everything else was kind of just meh to me. Not worth the $65/person (with tip and tax). They also include a 5% surcharge on the bill.

The gyros are wonderful and the sauces, lentil soup, and salads are perfect. The salad was particularly crisp and fresh. And the basmati rice was exceptional - clearly the best rice you can buy. I wonder if the baba ghanoush was home-made because it was equally phenomenal. I love this place and I felt at home.

We were acknowledged immediately as we walked in & told we could sit anywhere we liked. We choose a table that had chairs on one side & a couch on the other. I sat on the couch, even though it was very comfortable it was too low to the table. The restaurant decor was simple with couches & beautiful jeweled chandeliers plus traditional music played in the background. Note, plenty of free parking was available as this place is located in a strip mall. I ordered the Beef Kabob Plate that came on a delicious bed of yellow rice. The beef had been marinated in a yummy marinade then perfectly grilled with two dipping sauces. Wow, this was super flavorful. In addition, there was a small salad with a wonderful spice dressing. On the side was warm Pita Bread & some of the best Hummus I've had in a long time. What a memorable meal...I'm looking forward to trying some of their other dishes.

This time, it was much darker inside and honestly felt a little depressing. There were hardly any customers besides us and one other diner. The food is still good. We ordered the same item as before, along with fries. The fries were good, and the beef was actually more tender this time and not as tough as I remembered. The pita bread, though, didn't seem as fresh or as good as before. Our server was friendly, but he could have looked a little more presentable. He was cleaning while serving us, and there appeared to be dirt on his shirt. That made me question the cleanliness. Hopefully, they can improve on that.

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the price differential between these two items is about $5 and instead of itemizing our receipts, our waiter just split it in two, overcharging my friend and undercharging me. To start, the hummus, pita, and htipiti are a must, obviously! And the za'atar-spiced fries are seriously addicting -- I could eat an entire order myself. We got a few drinks and placed an order for apps and mains together since it would be easier. And normally you would expect drinks would come first followed by apps and then mains. We got the apps, drinks and mains all together which was a bit odd because our table had no more place. Our server did not ask us and we thought it was understood. The lamb kofte, hummus and mandu dumplings were great! Their pita is fresh and piping hot, unlike other pitas I've had which was a big positive! The main dish my mom got was the carrot dish because she is a vegetarian, it was such a lazy dish! Just extra charred carrots on a bed of chickpeas and sauce - I expected more! Everything lamb was grilled to perfection and tasted really good. The falafel was very tasty as well. Stick to meat options if you decide to dine here. I wish they had a few more vegetarian options in the mains. We decided to skip desserts here because they did not sound appetizing at all. Service was alright. FYI - they will add a 20% service charge irrespective of your party size.

Boychik sells Mediterranean style food and when I saw what was on their menu, I knew exactly I wanted to eat here. I lovr Mediterranean style dips, I could eat this everyday. I chose the 3 dip option and got muhummara, babaganoush and whipped feta and asked for two servings of veggie and one serving of pita. Portion size was massive so I am glad I shared with my friends. My favorite was the muhummara, that was so good and my buddy was also like wow this is sooo good!! Babaganoush was ok for me and whipped feta didnt work for me. Veggies were great and the pita was the soft, pillowy ones, which I love! Staff were helpful and order came up quick. Guy ringing me up also told me that upstairs they have plates and cutlery so no need to have my dips wrapped to-go. Overall, great food here, take it upstairs and enjoy the views!
