House salad, dressing on the side.

Very comfortable family owned pizza and pasta joint. Friendly service and delicious Italian American food. Cozy atmosphere. Entrees come with salad, soup, or garlic bread. The salad has pepperoni and mozzarella on top of iceberg lettuce. It's simple and delicious. Most pasta entrees come with a choice of meat balls or sausage or one of each. Both are great choices. The meatballs are large, nearly 3 inches in diameter. They are dense but their flavor is mild. The sausage has a little spicy kick to them. Their red sauce is thin, well seasoned, and pairs deliciously with everything on their menu. I had the manicotti which was perfect. The ratio of cheese filling to pasta was just right and the baked mozzarella on top got nice and bubbly and browned to make a great chewy crust. Then it was covered in red sauce and meatballs. This is the way manicotti oughta be. The house wine was not bad. Not fine by any means, but accessible and paired well with everything on the menu. They offer a regional pie dubbed a cannoli, which is not the same as the popular dessert of the same name. This savory pie is a hearty meal you can eat with your hands. It's like a small calzone and you can get it with green chili inside too. A must have. This restaurant has been around for ages. My wife's family has been going here for 40+ years. Still reliably delicious after all that time. Go visit for some north Denver Italian American culture. It's a real institution.

Still as great as we remembered. We use to eat at the other locations many years ago near 92nd/N. Wadsworth Blvd. and another near 56th/Sheridan Blvd, and were craving the thick noodle spagetti, meat balls, italian sausage and side salad while visiting the area over the weekend. Still as delicious as we rememeber. Menu selection is good, prices resonable for quantity of food, dine in area nice and staff friendly and attentive. Overall, a great lunch experience with some old friend of ours in the area.

The service and the food is spot on. Got the Italian sausage sandwich with a salad. My wife got the meatball sandwich with minestrone soup. Both were exceptionally good. We'll be back on Wednesday with some friends.

Now that's a full glass of wine!

The buttery and crunchy burst of flavors as your front teeth sink slowly into that first bite of garlic bread... Mama Mia! If you're looking for traditional Italian home cooking, this is your place. Large dishes of delicious pasta, a calzone the size of your head and a glass of wine filled to the brim. Sign me up. The service is always top notch. You'll feel like family here. 10/10

18" Deluxe minus green pepper & onion, add extra cheese & meatball. Absolutely incredible!

The jumbo pizza is smaller than they advertise. We've had that several times where it comes out the size of a large. Otherwise great food.

Not as good as it once was. The Alfredo sauce was so broken I'm surprised they bothered to serve it. The service was good though.

My wife and I found Ignazio's from a Google search while on a desperate weekend hunt for cheese…read moreravioli. Despite living less than ten minutes from Ignazio's, this was our first visit, but it definitely won't be our last. The owner, Nancy, greeted us warmly when we entered, provided exceptional table service, and made our time at Ignazio's more than just an excellent meal but a memorable experience. First, the food. The reviews are accurate. Ignazio's has EXCELLENT pasta. My wife chose the cheese ravioli, and I ordered the bolognaise. Both exceeded our expectations. The cheese ravioli was delectate, not over-seasoned, and served in a delicious marina sauce. Ravioli tends to get rubbery when the pasta is rolled to thick, or tears or breaks down if rolled too thin. These ravioli were ion the "goldilocks zone" of thick enough to hold their body, but delicate enough to be easily severed with the side of a fork. The flavor was a well-balanced mix of cheese, herbs, and tomato acidity. Simply delicious. My bolognaise with penne pasta had the perfect mix of veggies, including fresh peas that hadn't been cooked to mush. The best thing about bolognaise is the pleasing mixture of textures it includes when done correctly. Ignazio's was flavorful, contained delicious and properly-cooked veggies, and had a perfectly-sized dollop of ricotta on top. The ricotta is a genius touch - another contrast of texture along it a temperature contrast. I ate the entire bowl full. We visited over the Spring Break weekend, which made for less-than-full restaurant, which according to the owner, Nancy, is unusual for a weekend evening. She recommended reservations on the weekend as they're typically full-up for the weekend dinner rush. Nancy spent real time at our table, answered questions, provided guidance on the menu, and genuinely made us feel seen and appreciated. Excellent food coupled with excellent service = a restaurant we will absolutely return to in the near future. I've only tried two dishes, but would already place Ignazio's as the best Italian restaurant in Lakewood. It reminds me of the small mom-and-pop Italian places I miss from Chicago that provide excellent food at reasonable prices, served with real hospitality. Ignazio's is a gem.

I've actually been here a handful of times before, but always stuck to the pizza and pasta (which are great). I honestly can't believe I overlooked the sandwiches for this long. I went with the chicken parm sandwich and it was outstanding--crispy, perfectly breaded chicken, rich marinara, and just the right amount of melted cheese on fresh bread that holds everything together without getting soggy. Easily one of the best chicken parms I've had around here. I reluctantly traded half for the sausage and peppers sandwich, and honestly... it was just as good. The sausage had great flavor and snap, the peppers were cooked perfectly, and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. It's rare you order two different sandwiches and can't decide which one you liked more, but that was the case here. One of the sneaky best deals: you can add a cup of soup for just $2. I tried the rustic sausage and potato soup and it was excellent--hearty, flavorful, and felt homemade in the best way. What stood out beyond the food is how consistent everything felt with what others say: high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and that authentic, no-frills Italian deli vibe. You can tell they care about doing simple things really well.

Everything is always delicious It can be a little loud, a little crowded, long line, but it's worth the wait and you don't have to wait long. I was sorry to hear that they recently had a fire. I hope they can remodel and open soon. It is a little suspicious that so many great local restaurants are experiencing fire and damage lately, I hope it's just random bad luck and nothing more nefarious.

The "Restaurant Kid" Litmus Test: Parisi Passes with Flying Colors…read more On my first day in Denver, a childhood friend took me to lunch at Parisi, though he was admittedly a bit apprehensive. Having grown up with Italian heritage on both sides and parents who owned an Italian restaurant, I am notoriously hard to please when it comes to authentic cuisine. He was worried I'd be overcritical; instead, I was completely charmed. Located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood, Parisi offers the kind of authenticity that is rare to find. Here is why it earned a perfect score from a tough critic: The Main Course: The Tagliatelle Ragu was balanced and traditional--exactly what you want from a high-caliber kitchen. The "Woodfire" Factor: The aroma of the woodfire pizza oven hits you the moment you walk in. While we opted to eat inside rather than on the lovely patio, those scents alone convinced me that I have to return specifically for the pizza next time. The Grand Finale: I had to finish the meal with my favorite, Stracciatella gelato. It was the perfect creamy, artisanal end to a fantastic lunch. The service was seamless, the ambiance was inviting, and the food spoke for itself. If you're looking for a spot that feels like a true slice of Italy in the middle of Denver, this is it. I'll definitely be back to tackle that pizza menu!

The decor is charming. Our server, Holly, brought us our requested water. My husband ordered bread and butter for the table. He chose the split plate of spaghetti and ravioli. He requested Bolognese instead of marinara. The meals came with salads and he decided to get the Italian dressing. My son chose ranch with his salad and ordered the fettuccini alfredo adding parmesan chicken on top. I chose the fettuccini and meatballs with marinara. I selected Italian dressing for my salad. The salads came on cold plates which made the veggies seem even crisper than they were. It was more than just the usual side salad with the addition of garbanzo beans. We all enjoyed the freshness. My dish was ample and tasty. The meatballs are fork and knife size. The marinara had a bright tomato flavor. Overall enjoyable and enough to bring home for lunch the next day. If you look at the menu before coming to the restaurant, you might notice that the menu is different. Also note that there is a 4% fee for using a credit card but that is plastered all over their website so we knew to bring cash. It is very overpriced here. We started with some soup which was okay. We opted to split the Italian egg rolls. They were good. $20 for one cup of soup and an appetizer. We cut our losses given the food was just okay and the remainder of the menu was pretty heavy and overpriced.

Zero attention paid to water and drinks that needed replenishing. The manager needs to pay more attention to the level of service and professionalism of the staff, a lot more. This may be why they tack on a mandatory 20% surcharge with a little lecture on the receipt about how it provides a living wage, because I doubt they'd ever get tips at that level with this style of service. Or maybe the service is that way because they don't feel any need to work for a gratuity. Under the circumstances, calling this a "hospitality" charge was just plain tacky. I didn't feel like there was any hospitality, certainly not enough to warrant a 20% fee.
