I came into Curry Kingdom looking for a late night dinner. Upon entering, I was told they were about to close, and that the hours listed online hadn't been updated. Despite this, the waiter insisted on serving me and told me they would stay after-hours to complete my order. After placing my order, my food came out at breakneck speed. Overall, the service here is top-notch! As for the food, it was pretty good. My chicken was creamy but lacked a bit of flavor.

The best Indian food in the area! Everything I've tried so far has been delish. We tried the new bar special today: butter chicken, garlic naan, and beer for only $15! Such a good deal. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The $3 beer was great I also liked the saag paneer. The medium spice level was on the milder side. Nice service and ambiance with colorful decorations.

Food and service were incredible. Our waiter recommended the mushroom soup, and it was so delicious and filled with flavor. Everything we ordered was incredible, I can't wait to go back here next time!

Came here to grab dinner before a Lacrosse Game. I wish I didn't live an hour away because I would eat the food daily if I could. The inside of the restaurant is well lit and nicely decorated, it was clean and the smell of spices was amazing while waiting for our food. It's difficult to find good Indian food that hasn't been heavily altered to fit more Americanized pallets. We had the fried chicken momos, garlic naan, salmon saag, lamb saag, and then a few drinks to include an Indian lager which was great. The price point was fair considering how large the portions were, our sever was polite, friendly and very fast. When we started slowing down he quickly figured out we were going to need boxes and got them for us immediately. My friend is a fairly picky eater and loved her salmon saag, I loved my lamb saag, I couldn't believe how creamy it was and the lamb was perfectly cooked. I asked for medium spice to be conservative and I could have gone spicier but the flavors were absolutely mouth watering. The garlic naan and momos tasted fresh and were full of flavor as well. I will definitely be back when I can.

Curry Kingdom an Indian Eatery is an Indian restaurant in Wheat Ridge. It's located off of 44th and Wadsworth near Walgreens. I'm slowly knocking off all my new neighborhood restaurants. I love me some Indian food and the craving kicked in over the weekend. I ordered through DoorDash and the food was ready for pickup in no time. The employee (maybe owner) was very polite. For a Friday night, the restaurant was completely empty. Maybe they hone in on the takeout side of the business? It's a fairly large space, so I felt bad seeing it empty. Luckily I live close by. The intoxicating smells of the food were tortuous after a long day without eating. I wanted the classics: curry, rice and naan. No more, no less. Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) // flakes of tandoor meat cooked with creamy butter sauce. When you order butter chicken, always get it with a little kick. A medium spice had a decent bite, but I wish I ordered hot. However, the curry was extremely flavorful. The chicken was fairly tender. The curry had big aromas of garlic and ginger and other spices. With garlic naan and basmati rice in tow, it made for a wonderful meal. I already know I'll be back to Curry Kingdom to work my way through the menu! Rumor has it they have a lunch buffet and who doesn't love an Indian buffet? First impressions are strong, even though this might be more of a takeout option than a dine in experience. Support our local restaurant scene!

Wow. I have not been out to try a new spot in ages and I had this on my places to try list - just so glad I made this choice tonight! Lucky for me, it's a snowy spring evening and the house isn't too full but, enough diners to create a nice buzz. As you enter, you are immediately greeted with a blend of incense and curry that, for me, is intoxicating and delicious. I'm sure some will be sensitive to it but, honestly, it was the perfect greeting to what was to come, the bar is expansive with plenty of seating. Seating was quick and friendly. The menu is full of standards with a wide variety for vegan/vegetarians and the carnivore as well. I had to try the mushroom tikka masala because I have not seen this option anywhere else. Oh- and the kabuli naan which is a favorite. Naan was hands down best I have had. ISO well prepared and filled perfectly. I went with medium heat and could have gone a bit higher but, it didn't matter - this dish was incredible. The sauce had the perfect blend of flavors and easily is the best I've had in Denver. Rice was perfectly made and heated, as expected. The tofu korma was also equally delicious. These are two of my favorite Indian curry options and again, I have not had it better. Yes, many leftovers came home. Truly can't wait to come back to experiment with another menu item. We had a great discussion with our server who explained that the buffet is not going to be continuing due to construction. Hopefully, it will come back. Highly recommend stopping in or making the trip this way- and there is a reservation option as well.

This restaurant is amazing…read more I decided to look up what the word Durbar means, and it turns out it is the "court of a king or ruler." And that term is very fitting. Parking is easy. The inside is very warm, friendly, and comfortable. The staff is cheerful and on it. And the food... Just wow. I am a huge rice and chicken fan, so this is square in my wheelhouse. The buffet has lemon rice on it, which is worth the price of admission. The salad section is fresh. Most importantly, the entrees are exactly what they should be. My three favorites are the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. I could eat any of them every day and the tandoori twice a day. Big flavor, tender, and satisfying. The naan is a must-try as well. It's super easy to get here off 6th Avenue and absolutely worth it!

The server was extremely attentive and even cleared the table prior to bringing out all our food. As for my food, it was subpar. The steamed rice, while properly seasoned, was next to bone dry. Some parts of my tandoori chicken were also dry. Equally upsetting was how burnt my chicken was. Overall, Durbar Nepalese & Indian Bistro is an okay choice if you're in the area, but I would not make a pilgrimmage out to this restaurant.

I cannot believe it took as long as it did to get here. To be fair we did try a couple times and…read morethe parking was so packed we couldn't find a spot. All pointing to an excellent experience. The timing was right for my husband and I to come for a Sunday lunch. The service was fast and friendly. We started with potato sliders that were really good but not as good as our main courses. My husband opted for the lamb tiki masala and I opted for the eggplant (Baingan Bharta) Thali meal. The dal soup and spiced potatoes that came in the Thali were incredible. My favorite part was the chai though. I cannot drink milk and the alternative was oat milk. This was one of the best chais I have had in my life. So so good.

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
