We wanted to grab something quick late at night for a reasonable price, and this matched all the boxes. We got takeout for fries and a chicken shawarma wrap. The food was hot when we brought it home and it tasted good. The fries were really well-seasoned. The chicken shawarma was okay, nothing special but still good. I was off of work around 2 pm, and I decided to try this place out. Of course I found it on Yelp! I was in the mood for Greek/Mediterranean . So, to my surprise, I walk in and there are about 30 men dining and smoking . Soo....I'm like thinking I came to the wrong place! It was the right place, but soon realized this is a place for hookah as well , and it was in full effect! LOL! I quickly went to the bar and asked for a menu . I ordered the falafel sandwich and fries , with roasted cauliflower on the side to go. So, I decided to sit down and wait . I'm still feeling sort of weird . The only other woman was the waitress . LOL! I didn't have a fear, just felt out of place. I didn't have to wait long . My order was ready in about 15 minutes . So, the first thing I tasted was the roasted cauliflower . Ahmazzing! So tender and so fresh! It had just the right amount of roast . I was in heaven! Being a transitioning vegan, this soothed my soul ! The falafel sandwich was equally good , fresh with a great sauce! I typically order through Uber Eats and everything is delivered just fine, which is why they have 2 stars and not one. Today I was in the area and decided to order through GrubHub so I could pick it up instead. I get there, not greeted by the hostess and when I got to the carry out counter they seemed more occupied with the Hookah patrons inside the restaurant. After two ppl could not locate the order, the I assume manager went over to the printer and grabbed the GrubHub print out. He said "oh they didn't call us(GrubHub) to give us the confirmation number to confirm we received the order...so it'll be 10 min". Almost 20 min after waiting my food comes out. Fantastic hookah! Every time I go, the shisha is very high quality and I thoroughly enjoy it. Only qualm I have is sometimes it is too busy for the staff to provide timely service. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. One thing to note, they allow beer however it must be non-alcoholic. This hookah bar is not a bean bag/lounge kind of location, you have a table/booth and can eat full meals there. The buffet in the evenings is fantastic!! read more

This is one of my go-to hookah places, partly because my friends know the owners/workers and partly because it's close to King's Noodle. And because my friends know the workers, we've always had friendly and chill service. They've gotten a lot busier in the past year or so though, so there's always new faces now. For anyone looking for a lounge place, keep in mind that this is a restaurant so there's chairs and tables rather than bean bags. Sultans... - good atmosphere - delicious food - great service - awesome hookahs we never have to look at a menu, Adel, who works there knows exactly what my friends and I want. It consists, waters, maybe a pepsi or two, hummus with 2 to 3 breads, tomatoes and pickles and of course, a hookah. Flavor? we never get the same flavor, Adel always mixes us a new flavor when we go. We come here maybe 4-5 times a month. I frequent here often for the hookah. After trying numerous flavors, wild berry mint always pleases the senses. The same flavor varies a little because the hoses are never cleaned after use. With a group on at least 3, I highly recommend the pineapple head. It burns a lot slower and the juices add flavor to the tobacco. The food here is surprisingly good. The kabobs are flavorful. The hummus always takes the cake though. It's smooth texture and robust flavor marries well with a freshly baked pita bread. Couple of hot waitresses to make the experience even better. Best hookah in Dallas. Ownership was super friendly, great selection, and best of all, the all natural charcoal. The hoses and pipes seem well kept. I didn't get refilled as much as I'd like, and he did seem to disappear whenever we needed him. I guess the rents must be high, because Sultan Cafe is also charging a lot for food! I didn't eat, I just took a couple bites off my friends lamb kebab. The lamb was juicy and perfectly seasoned. There were plently of vegetables and rice and a whole grilled tomato served with his kebab. He also got naan and lots of different yogurts and sauces to try with it. I only ordered hot tea, which turned out to be just a lipton tea bag, my friend got iced tea..both were $1.99 and no refills. So it cost almost $20 for 1 person to eat...too much. read more

They seemed to have over stocked on their water bottles and juice that they had it laying out by the side of their counter. This was our first time to visit so we took a bit extra to browse through the menu. When asked if we were ready, we requested a bit more time. Fifteen minutes later, after he never came back to the table, I glanced over at him giving him the "we are ready" sign. I might have stumbled into the lounge area, as the whole place was entirely deserted at the height of weekday lunch hour. Had a lunch special, a grilled lamb kebob with choice of two sides (hummus and rice) and fresh bread. The portion was small but appropriate for a lunch-size meal, lean meat well done. The hummus was smooth and lightly garlicy, the plate well-presented and the flatbread was fresh out of the stone oven, hot and crispy on the outside. Good food all around for under $10. Menu had a lot of other Mediterranean plates and combos, none terribly expensive. Features halal foods and full hookah service with a menu of tobacco flavors. Would happily eat here again. read more

This is a usually jam packed place for hookah. Many regulars come here, so I often run into friends here. The regulars come here because the hookah is usually excellent. Good food & hookah. Parking is horrendous-- the shopping center parking lot is always packed. You'll likely have to park across the street at one of the other shopping strips. Came here last night and was excited to go to a place that was one of my friends favorite spots in metroplex got there at 11pm and the place was packed and the hookah was good too. But the service definitely wasn't our waiter didn't hear our order several times even though there is no music and we were at a corner table to ourselves there's no reason he shouldn't have been able to hear us. I ordered the lamb chops with baba ganoush which the lamb chops were very good but the portion was definitely overpriced for 4 small pieces and the baba ganoush wasn't just warm but it was old I can taste it was starting to go bad I never had bad baba ganoush before and I took my leftovers home when I open my container from the fridge in the morning to take it to lunch it was fermenting also my stomach has been messed up all day. Baba ganoush is my favorite side very disappointing and I hope that I don't stay sick for long. I'd rather go to the McDonald's nearby then eat here again that's how scared I am to get sick again! read more
