Stopped in for a haircut and trim on my goatee. Ray Ray was able to see me right away. He did an amazing job. Made me feel very comfortable. The shop was light and very laid back. Lots of smiles and good conversation. Definitely an old school high quality Barbershop. In my neighborhood, believe I have found the right place for me. John read more

I would strongly advise parents to think twice before choosing Reese at Sully's Barbershop for their children. My personal experience with him was extremely disappointing and left me very uncomfortable. His behavior and attitude did not make me feel that he genuinely respects or cares about his clients. What concerned me most was hearing him say himself that he doesn't care about his clients. As a parent, that is not the kind of attitude I want from someone I'm trusting with my child. I also personally found his behavior toward women to be inappropriate and unprofessional. I'm sharing my experience because I believe parents deserve to know what they may encounter before deciding who they trust with their children. I would not personally return or recommend him. read more

Went in, ina rush dude cut someone's hair and then immediately turned around and chilled on his phone mind you I was in there bout 20-30 mins now and when someone else came in asking for a haircut he stood up and said "yeah I'll get you real quick" I was like "yo I was here first?" He said "I've cut your hair 2 times man and you didn't like it. But didn't even communicate that to me at all while I was waiting. So definitely poor customer service on his end. But he didn't even do bad the last 2 times he just kept forgetting to cut around my ear and when I noticed I went back in and had someone else do it real quick that it? But yeah poor customer service bad communication on his end. Last time going here. read more

This was a fun experience for us since all we have known is great clips. The service was great. The barbers did so well with my 10 and 7 year old boys. The communication with what the boys wanted and the finish product was great. read more

A clean and tidy barbershop but the cuts are not good they don't do what you ask them or what you show them they have a rude and unprofessional attitude I wouldn't go again even if the cuts were free and I don't recommend this barbershop read more

This is the worst shop I ever seen they messed my hair up so bad I jad to go get it redone and they messed my goatee up and cut 2inches off it and it was way uneven the worst on the planet just give a two yr old the stuff to do it and it might have been better...sucked I was so pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Let me start by saying I absolutely love how my son's haircut turned out. My sons have been coming here since my oldest, who's now almost 21, was about 7. So this place has been a long-time spot for us. But unfortunately, I will not be returning. First, the cut was $23. I handed the barber $40, planning to get my change so I could leave at least a $10 tip. Instead, he pocketed the entire $40, said "thank you" with a smirk, and told me to have a nice day. That was not only presumptuous but felt like being bullied into a $17 tip. As a single mother, I don't appreciate someone assuming I can or should overtip--especially when the service didn't match that kind of generosity. Then came the part that upset me even more. After my son was finished with his haircut, a Michael Jackson song came on and he was happily dancing by himself. The barber looked at him and said, "Don't have ants in your pants next time." The tone and disrespect were unnecessary, especially toward a child. I explained that my son is on the spectrum, and instead of showing any understanding, the barber looked at me like it was my problem. I've cut my son's hair myself for over a year, and this was his first time back in a shop--he handled it so well and didn't deserve to be spoken to like that. Great cut or not, respect and customer service matter. And sadly, we won't be back. read more

Unfortunately the other 1 star reviews are accurate, upon my bfs experience here he witnessed that the barbers pick and choose which customers they wanted to serve and cut first, regardless of how long he'd been waiting or the order of the names on the waiting list! if one of their more regular clients walk in they will service them right away instead of you, so be aware of that, he said also one of the barbers walked in the front door of the shop with a cigar sparked and smoking in his mouth, and put it out on his way inside the shop leaving smoke and bad smelling cigar fumes everywhere around the customers inside ... very unprofessional establishment, so I would choose to cut your hair elsewhere. read more

The only one I let touch my son's hair is Aries! He always takes his time, makes it look fresh every single cut, and you just know you're walking out looking good. read more

Took my son I was suppose to get cut as well after seeing my boys cut we won't be going back

Always open never had a issue great prices and barbers are very knowledgeable I recommend

Bruce saved the day! I went somewhere else (I won't say where but it's a common franchise) and they destroyed my beard I've had for many years. Bruce worked some magic and was able to save what he could and I am grateful. I've never been to Ashley's before but honestly I liked the vibe. I stood out like a sore thumb but nobody cared. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Bruce. read more

It has good vibe and quality cuts. Lots of good barbers. Good prices for a cut. Thanks

First time coming to a barber shop for my 2 year old. Called around a few places and this is the closest one to me that did 2 year olds. I was so nervous about how my son would react even though he'd gotten a haircut before. We had Scott as our barber and he went above and beyond to cater to my son's needs. From wiping off the hairs when he itched to trying to talk to him about the YouTube video he was watching. 10/10 recommend and will be returning! read more

The hours of this place are awesome. 0600 every day?! That's crazy. And I came at around 0800 on a Sunday morning and still waited in line for about 45m! But then I think it was because only 1 person came in when normally it should have been 2. Hair cut was clean and quick. read more

Recently sat in the barbershoo... Put mybname on the board. Took a seat, despite being cold I didnt leave and sat and awaited my name. I came in on a Saturday and I had to run but I guess I dropped a$20.00 and next day I came back while less busy and was informed I had dropped $20.00 and he returned it. On way out I gave the dude $10 he was not one that cut my hair. This is the BEST BARBER SHOP IN TOWN. I moved away from Mesa and still make trip out there. Open 6 am to midnight. And have not raised pricing in the years I been going. Entire staff are extremely talented. Highly recommend!!!!!! Ed read more

I had been looking for a good barber and a good barber shop to go to for the last nine months. Tried Sullys two weekends ago. Forest was the barber that cut my hair and beard. Was looking for an affordable haircut in the area and came here. I was hoping for the older barber if he was the owner but a young man who apparently started his shift took care of me. Coming to a new barber you don't know and vice versa for the first time can be risky and it was in my case. Overall not happy with my cut and still long after my hair dried, especially around the ears and back. I will need another cut but not going back to them instead going elsewhere for a precision cut. They also need to post a sign that prominently says they accept cash only. read more

Sullys Barber Shop - Barbers Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I've been here a few times. Maybe 6-7 times in a 2 year span. I only come after 10 for the $10 cut. Sometimes I get in quick, but there has been a couple times that I have waited til like 11:30pm to get called up. Now for the haircuts...80% of the time, my fades have been completely messed up. There has only been 2 times that my fade was "decent". The worst was when the old black dude cut my hair. It was so jacked, and I kept pointing out the line and he finally said "I can't fix it..". Luckily my GF is a hairdresser so she fixed my hair a little. The only reason I kept coming back after constant disappointment was when I was seriously desperate. But I decided that I can't take my chances anymore. I'll stick to my regular barbershop in Tempe. Good luck! read more

Very impressed with the staff over at Sullys Barber shop walked in today for some children's haircuts and they did an amazing job. The barbers were very patient and did a very fine job and giving the kids awesome haircuts and paying attention to detail. they also had cartoons playing on the television which was helpful in getting the kids to sit still. I would definitely recommend Sullys to parents looking to get their children's haircut. Thank you Sullys we'll be back! read more

This place is a joke. I wouldn't give this place 1 star if I could. The atmosphere was off and lame from the moment I walked in this morning for a haircut. Dude just mumbles "welcum to Sullys please write urrr nameee on my board" So , I wrote my name on the board like instructed. I really needed a cut so I waited over an hour and still didn't have a seat in any of the chairs. Yes, it was busy so I was more than patient. But then one of the barbers left and another barber got up and erased the entire side of the dry erase board my name was on. I saw another guy get up that had been there less time than me so I told the barber out of confusion "Hey man, sorry but I think my name got erased off the board. I think I was next." He then got rude asf and defensive with me "Well.. you're gonna be next after him! " barley maintaining eye contact with me then proceeded to look away from me out of a frustrated grimace and not even acknowledge or answer anything I had just asked him. He kept looking at me out of the corner of his eye for the next few seconds. After realizing nobody else in the shop cared or was going to help explain this to me I left the shop. Wowwww. I guess that's one way to run a business If you want a good/professional atmosphere go somewhere like Super Cuts. Where they have professional artist and environments for you to wait in. This Sullys place is not it. Such a weird place to want to go and wait at. A true junk heep with a weird atmosphere and employees to go with The guy who was giving me issues was second chair over inside the door btw. Lmaooooo read more
