So I just got done getting my hair cut by one of the "professional" barbers. What a joke. Because I don't speak Spanish we were unable to communicate. One of the other barbers had to translate what I wanted done. She asked two questions and that was it. My best friend is getting married in a few hours and my hair looks like garbage. Do not come here unless you're extremely proficient in Spanish or you don't care if you get butchered. I cannot express the amount of rage and frustration I have against these people. This is my 4th time coming here and I always leave angry, I haven't been in a year and thought maybe they've changed? Nope. You walk in and they ask "student or professional", and I'm fine with either, in fact I think the students are better because they're more careful and pay more attention to what you're saying. I couldn't have asked for a simpler haircut, a LITTLE off the top, and a high fade. This "professional" chopped away so quickly at the top, and f'd up the fade I had to have her adjust it 3 times, and she still couldn't get it right I just gave up. I now look like a damn toothbrush(an uneven one at that). Just in time for the holidays! NEVER coming here again, even for a free cut. read more

I come here every time I get a haircut. I choose student cut ($7.00) because I want to help them gain the needed experience that is essential for success. Don't worry, there's an instructor, Danny, to insure the students are on track. I don't mind the longer time in the chair for the haircut. They are actually very good. Come here for a great haircut..I never been here before and there was no waiting. As soon as i walked in i was asked if i was ready by the bald guy in the last chair he stated he was just out of school and that Manny the owner was showing him the right way to do a haircut . i couldnt tell he just got out of school i was surprised and the job he did it was more than what i expected. He also explained that Manny shows all his barbers the same way so that anyone that goes there will get the same style of haircuts from any of the barbers there they all look professional at their jobs although some dont speak english they pretty much know what you want if you tell them... another plus would be the hot lather foam shave they shave around the ears and back of the neck. there's so much wrong with the service in this place. Sometimes you get a good cut, sometimes you don't. If you ask for a shave, you'll probably get hot lather and disposable razor raking across your face. I know from experience. I won't do that again. I gave this place enough chances. The older lady that doesn't speak any english is getting better at cutting hair though. read more

Great place for a $6 haircut by a student, supervised by Manny, the owner-instructor. Been going here for a long time. You can always spot the kids that will make it through the 1500 hours of training and the ones who won't last long at all. I've never received a bad haircut at this place and highly recommend it for a good, inexpensive haircut. read more

Great shop. Cool, clean environment. Works as a barbershop and a barber school. So if you are looking for something simple, especially something like a shaved head, you can get a student cut for like 6 bucks. As for the barbers, any review i see saying someyhing negative about a haircut has to 100% of been because the person didn't explain what they wanted in enough detail. I used to be someone that went to nothing but instagram famous barbers that only take appointments. Now i come here, always get cut by Elsa and get the same results. Don't let her looks fool you that because she's a nice middle aged mexican lady that barely speaks english, she must not know what shes doing. She is very skilled. Especially if you are like me and get mostly low skin fades or skin tapers, i would suggest her although, all of them can cut. Any bad review on here is nonsense. If you explain what haircut you want correctly, in enough detail, that is what you are going to get. read more
