That said, DJ had told me if I didn't like it or needed more cut off just come back and let him know so and he stood by what he said. I came back in today and there he was, willing to clip some more off for me to my liking, which I can really appreciate his willingness to. I'm now very happy with where the length is at and it is much easier to run my hands through (my hair is very thick) and I'm now satisfied with where it's at. After my regular barber suddenly wasn't at my usual spot anymore, I had to expand the search outside of downtown. I found Uptown Barbershop through Yelp/Google reviews and decided to roll the dice. I booked with Boris specifically because I saw he does beard trims and styles that match what I like. Boris absolutely nailed it. He took the time to understand what I wanted, delivered a clean, sharp haircut, and the beard trim was on point and shaped perfectly without taking off too much. Most importantly, the beard is wife-approved, which is basically the ultimate review. If you're picky about your hair/beard and don't want to gamble on "good enough," book Boris. I'll be back.
