The shop was nice and pretty quiet when we arrived. The barbers all seemed friendly and familiar with one another, which created a welcoming atmosphere. The process was simple. Grab a number and wait to be seated. It filled up quickly, though I heard they stop taking clients around 6:40 p.m. I'm giving 4 stars because there was a little bit of trash in the waiting area (a cup here, a tissue there), especially when it wasn't very busy. On the positive side, the bathroom was superb and the overall vibe was great. I'd definitely recommend checking them out. I saw hair cuts, beard trims and waxing available. Well rounded shop. They gotta get the WiFi situated cause the World Cup kept buffering lol Lollipops for the kids read more

Terminal Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I needed venture out for a place closer to home. First place was booked and terminal barber shop was second. It seemed busy but there were a couple of seats left for me and my son. It was a walk-in style barbershop where you pull a ticket and when your number is called it's your turn. This location operated as a team where they communicate with one another, care about the efficiency, and lastly the finishing product is something that speaks for itself self. Seems like they are family and it makes me happy to bring my son here to have an enjoyable experience. Great fade for my little man and a great experience overall at a new barbershop for a Dad. read more

Omar did a great job fixing my son's botched mullet! The salon is very nice and clean, and everyone was welcoming from the moment we walked in. Omar took the time to fix a haircut that had gone wrong at a different barbershop and absolutely nailed it. He was patient, detail-oriented, and made sure my son left feeling confident. We couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommend Omar and this barbershop--we'll definitely be back! read more

Fantastic Place ! I went into this shop 4 years ago when I first moved to AZ and met the one and only Big Ali! Dozens of haircuts later and I'm still going here no matter how far the drive is from my current home. The team here is always in great spirt and the overall atmosphere is a great time. Ali is a legend in Tempe and I'm not sure he knows it but the man can cut hair ! read more

I've been going to Ali (Big Ali - there are two) for about 5 years now. Typically a mid skin fade, trim on top, and a lineup. He always SLAYS. I walk in looking like trash and walk out looking like a snack. Fades 10/10 Lineups 10/10 Trims 10/10 Vibes 10/10 - the barbers are always cracking jokes! read more

*Updated* 4/18/2024 The short Mexican guy needs to go back to barbershop school, his fades are horrible. The guys have ZERO customer service. They didn't stop complaining about someone coming in 40 minutes before they closed. Nonstop throughout the whole haircut. On the weekends this place is decent, but please avoid getting your haircut done by the short Mexican guy, his fades are awful. read more

I have to start by giving credit to Sam Hasoon, the owner and barber, he keeps the shop running like a well-oiled machine. And of course, a big shoutout to my go-to barber, Ali. I've been going to him for a few years now, and he's always professional, courteous, and consistently delivers sharp, clean cuts. Even when I decide to switch things up. He just gets it. The entire barbershop is immaculate, with a top-tier atmosphere. Five stars doesn't do it justice. read more

Best barbershop in the East Valley. All these dudes are good. See Hamidi or Rey or one of the Ali's . You won't regret it

The curse of the inconsistent cut quality from this location strikes again. I'd really prefer just getting a "good" cut each time from this business instead of getting 50% world-class, social media brag level cuts, and 50% "Great Clips" level cuts. It's kinda stressful not knowing which one you'll get if you don't know each and every barber already. read more

Good haircut got a chair pretty quick, atmosphere works plenty of chairs. Seems like they can get you in and out without ruining quality read more

Excellent service and attention to detail! Ali, Huss and the rest of the guys are all excellent!

Quality of the haircuts are good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Expect LONG waits. They use a number system but people frequently get to skip the line. You might have only a few numbers ahead of you but that doesn't mean you'll be seen in that order. What might seem as a 30 min wait can be extended for hours. I do not recommend if you have someplace important to be and you are on a schedule. If you have a whole afternoon to kill and no social life then this is the place for you. read more

Nice guys at this shop. No appointment needed. Just walk in and grab a ticket .Phil gave a great cut . Thanks

Went in and Ibo helped me. I've been here a couple of times In the past but this was by far my best experience. I'd like to start by saying the barbers here are extremely kind and welcoming when you go into the shop. I walked in and Ibo took me straight to his chair. My hair is a little longer so he offered a band to keep it up. Not only did he get my cut done in about 30 minutes, I'm extremely satisfied with the look. Summary: awesome employees, quick spot for a cut, quality cuts & affordable. I'd give a 6th star if possible. read more

I am so happy I ran across this shop on yelp! I was looking for something last minute so most places were completely booked but I was saved by this shop because they take walk-ins!! Josh was my barber and he did such an amazing job with my undercut. I usually don't get designs from barbers I don't know but after Josh showed me pictures of a couple of the work he's done, I knew he would be able to give me the look I wanted. I love my cut and I will definitely be going back to see him again! read more

I have been a LOYAL customer for 3-4 years and love these barbers. I refuse to go anywhere else. Sometimes the wait is long but it's always worth the wait. It's definitely a confident boost when I leave your chair cause I look great. read more

I've been visiting Phoenix for a couple of weeks and decided to find a place to get a dope design. I turned to Yelp and suggested this place. I called before so I didn't make a trip for nothing. Josh answered and informed me he can do it but "walk-in only". I was there within 10 mins. I sat down and there was one person waiting. Clean and friendly place. read more

This place was awesome! They do not take appointments so my husband and I walked in and their system is taking a number. You could tell that this place is popular as there was so many people waiting and every barber had someone in their seat. We waited about 20-30 minutes and my husband was seen for a beard trim and complete head shave. From what my husband said he really enjoyed how detail oriented his barber was and the products that are used. There isn't a lot of waiting area for others but it was cool to watch how everyone interacted. Plus my husband looked great leaving Sam's seat! read more

How this barbershop has the ratings it does it way past me, but I'm going to rate it truly what it's worth. The aesthetics of this place is why it getting a 3 and not a 1. It has an old school feel which is really dope. Walking in you can easily think, this is the barbershop to be at. However, it's a fugazzi, the barber third chair in from the door was mediocre at best. I think I may have gotten a better line up and fade at Supercuts as a kid. Idk if he's new or if he just doesn't care about his craft. This place is high volume with walk ins so I think they just care about making a dollar over a quality hair cut. The kid didn't even use a straight razor to line me up.... Not to mention very unwelcoming. Just based off of the cuts when I was in there, I would do yourself a favor and wait for the kid in the first chair closest to the window. His cuts were the only ones coming out decent. read more

Best barbershop in Tempe! The guys in here are great, and they have never once given me a bad cut. I had the pleasure of getting cut by Ray today, and I was very happy with it, as usual. The shop itself is first come first serve, which means you're better off coming at off-peak hours if you want to get seated immediately. Even if you have to wait 10-15, it's totally worth it. read more

I come in with everything specifically needed. Length I wanted, reference photos with my hair type, and previous reference photos of myself. The dude said he could make that happen and has been cutting hair since he was 13 and it'll look great. It wasn't a very complicated cut either. He then proceeds to completely shave the sides and back of my head and give me one of the worst fades I've seen in my life when all I wanted was a low taper with medium length on the top. He then cut the top and front of my hair over an inch shorter than I asked (and showed) and had some of the worst texturing ive ever seen trying to clean it up. read more

I've been to the Terminal Barbershop twice and each time I've been very satisfied with my experience and my fade! Today's visit, Ibo, really set the bar for me with his level of precision and attention to detail. He took the time to check the blending all-around, more than once. Much appreciation to these barbers! I've now decided this is my new local barbershop and I highly recommend you check them out! read more

Hands down my favorite barbershop!! Every time you come here you are always greeted and feel like a friend or family. I come and see Michael for my cuts and he is always full of smiles and the best haircut I've received. I've sat with a few of the other barbers and all were equally as talented as Michael. Each barber has their own style and they are all suited to take care of any hairstyle. There's also a range of haircuts or washes that are available if you need something for the night out or just a typical clean up. On top of all of this the waiting chairs and barber chairs are comfy and make for a peaceful cut. Without a doubt this will be my barbershop while in Arizona! Thank you guys! read more

Terminal Barbershop - Front of the Barbershop. Can be easy to miss! - Barbers Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I have gone to various other barbershops in Tempe but no one is better than Terminal! I usually go during week, but I went on a Friday this time. Quite a few people waiting but you take a number and wait til your called. I think i only waited 15 minutes. Great service!! BEST IN TEMPE! read more

This place is great for what you pay. Lines have been crazy recently so try to come in at times when people don't usually get a haircut (mornings and before 1/2.) The guys here are great if you are looking for a general guys cut. They do fades, trims, beards, and eyebrow threading, and they do a great job. I always look forward to coming here, and after a 20% tip, it only comes out to $24 for a nice fade haircut with a trim on top. read more

Not a long wait time. No confusion on who is next because there is a take a number system. Great customer service. Old school aesthetics with the skills to match. Hot Towel shaves in comfortable chairs. Multiple options for what you would like to watch. All in a Halal environment. I've been coming here since 2017, I moved out of Tempe so I haven't been in some years. I came back today and they haven't skipped a beat, same great place! They cater to all ethnicities and don't take appointments, which means you don't have people taking priority over you. Lots of college students come here as well, I'd say that's the main market. I got my haircut by Ali; farthest chair from the front door. Perfect taper and line up. Highly recommend! read more

Service was amazing. Sam was a fantastic barber. 120% recommend. Please tell your family and friends!

I had high hopes for this place. I showed the young barber a picture of a pretty basic mid fade and he said "no problem". 35 minutes later after he stopped to mess with the overhead radio a half dozen times I was left with an uneve fade with long hairs sticking out all over my sides and it doesn't even really blend into the long top I kept asking him to take more off of and thin out. Really got the feeling he was just trying to hit it done so he could move on. read more

After my barber decided to take a turn in her career path, I struggled finding a good barbershop. A regular barber at that. Until a good friend of mine recommended Terminal, I've been going ever since. Every barber in the shop seems to be able to do some amazing shit. I watch the guys walk in and out, and the cuts are legit. I highly recommend swinging by if you're looking for something new, or something consistent. Either way, I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. They do it all. Check em out for sure. Jacob does mine, and he's amazing. But all are highly capable. Cheers. read more
