Freddie did an amazing job on my 3 yr old NON cooperative kid! He somehow is terrified of clippers and kicks, squirms and cries. But Freddie was very patient and took his time and got the job done. He let him watch videos on his personal phone and distracted him a couple other ways and for the second 1/2 of the haircut, my kid was no longer crying and cooperating. Freddie won him over! The shop was clean, not packed and the haircut my child received was well worth the price, $18. I did schedule an appointment online though. He looks like a little man! This was my first time here today and won't be my last. I reside in Chandler but will make this drive no problem. read more

Got a haircut earlier this year by the really young dude. Really nice kid. He stated he had just graduated high school and barber school. Got nervous but he said he had been cutting hair for a couple years so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Midway through the haircut, he swung me around so I caught a glimpse on the mirror. Lord. I knew I messed up. The tattooed guy (owner?) walked by and looked at my haircut. I was hoping he would step in and give the kid some pointers but nope. Took an hour for my cut. $25 with tip so $30. Wayyy too expensive for a bad haircut. Nice people, and they offer you drinks too though. Oh well, never went back. read more

Let me start off by saying that during these unprecedented times of COVID, it has been difficult for me to go out and do something as simple as getting a haircut. This was the first time I visited Marcus' in search for a good haircut, I'd discovered this shop because I was visiting another service in the area. And let me tell you, this was one of the best haircuts I've gotten. I've been in the area for a little more than a year, have tried a number of barbers, but no one's made me feel good about my haircut the way Marcus did! The wait was very short and the barbers were so friendly and welcoming! Damien did such an amazing job on my sons haircut. This place is definitely a great place to get the best fades. I can understand the frustration for walk-ins because these barbers are usually booked out. So just make the extra effort to get an appointment because with the demand there is not enough barbers yet. Maybe sometime after this review there will be more barbers here to make it available more to the "walk-in" customer. Other than that, all these guys cut amazing. Marcus, Aaron and Freddie were the only barbers I had there and they don't miss when it comes to quality and professionalism. My haircut I usually just get a bald fade with a combover or a pomp. And man, they will get your fade feeling like a baby's butt smooth. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Is it possible to rate "0"? Because walk-ins are apparently NOT WELCOME. The last TWO times I've walked in here, I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A HAIRCUT. The first time, I was the first customer in the door and after sitting down in the chair, the barber said he wasn't feeling good and couldn't do the cut. I can understand life happens so I was happy to let him figure out his issue. But, TODAY, I walk in, absolutely NO acknowledgement of my existence and I literally sat in there for 90 minutes and left because there was no update on timeframe for a haircut, probably 3 people with reservations went before me. One guy came over to me and asked "what kind of cut are you getting?" as if that has a bearing on whether or not he could squeeze me in before next customer. If you enjoy wasting time and gambling on whether or not you'll get a haircut at your barber, then this is the place for you. read more
