I'm personally not a big French toast person, but it was still really good and my friends really enjoyed it. There's a parking lot downstairs and they do validate for 2 hours i believe. Best bingsoo ever!! Everything is made from scratch and only the freshest ingredients are used. I have tried many flavors, which have all been delicious. The menu is huge! I always get bingsoo and the snow is soft, light, and fluffy every time. If I had to pick a favorite bingsoo flavor, it would probably be the Fresh Mango Bingsoo. The mango is sweet and juicy, pairing perfectly with the snow and condensed milk. Super refreshing on a hot day. Green Tea Bingsoo would be a close second. The red bean is very creamy, while the nuts add a nice, crunchy texture. Aside from the bingsoo, the toasts are also good sweet treats. Each toast is cut into 8 pieces, so it is easy to share. I had a sweets craving after our LNY dinner, and since we didn't feel like going out, we decided to order bingsoo from Sul & Beans via Uber Eats. The bingsoo took over an hour to arrive, and I at least expected it to be packaged in a noodle-bowl-style container to better preserve the layers. Instead, it showed up crammed messily into a 32 oz plastic deli container. It genuinely looked like a crime scene -- incredibly sloppy with red-colored syrup and compote distributed all over. YOGURT BERRY BINGSOO The yogurt base was pleasant, but the fruit was unripe and intensely sour. The fruit compote and condensed milk helped balanced it out a bit, but enough to save the dessert. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure why we thought this was a good idea in the first place. Lesson learned, bingsoo is not meant for delivery, especially not from Sul & Beans. read more

I was craving dessert and this dessert spot has been on my ktown hitlist for a while and it was nearby. I ordered the green tea bingsoo and my friend got the yogurt berry bingsoo. I love their soft shave ice base and the layering. It's very smooth. It's refreshing and it's not too sweet. They give you condensed milk on the side. You can pour on top if you wanted to add a touch more sweetness to it. There are a decent amount of tables available. It was busy but our order still came out within 10 minutes. There is a parking structure nearby however we were lucky enough to find street parking nearby. This is forsure one of the premium dessert spots in ktown. Try it out if you like. :) read more

wow what a great dessert spot!! today we tried Sul and Beans after a humongous meal. there's metered street parking outside (can be difficult to find a spot) and they do have 2 restrooms inside with codes that show on your receipt. we decided to order the earl gray bingsoo, which was a huge portion. it took maybe 10 minutes to get our food. we were served the bingsoo on this nice platter with a side cup of condensed milk. the bingsoo itself was sooo tasty!! there was a lot of graham cracker powder on the shaved ice, and the most delicious part was this sweet earl gray flavored cream on top. when you mixed everything together it was like a flavor bomb. I wish they gave us a little more of that cream on top but it was still delicious anyway. I think there was also cocoa powder underneath all that bingsoo lol. the place itself is inside one of the large shopping plazas in ktown, so you can eat some shaved ice and then go check out other businesses like daiso and aladdin used books. i'd like to come back here and try more flavors!! read more

What I enjoyed the most was that they even layered some fruit into the middle of the shaved ice (versus having it only ice). Most places that do shaved ice leave nothing in the middle! Service is as quick as they can get even though it may take about 10-15 minutes during peak hours. Water is self-serve, and if it isn't sweet enough, you can also drizzle on a side of condensed milk. My family had 3 different Asian shaved ice/bingsu places while visiting California and this was my favorite. It has the classic texture and style of the Korean bingsu you'd typically see, but they do it super well. The texture is icy but still super creamy at the same time. We got the taro flavor which was amazing. I believe all the bingsus only have one base (traditional milk base) and then the toppings change what type of bingsu you'd get. For the taro it's covered in a taro powder with dried coconut flakes, red bean, and mochi. The combination of the coconut flakes with the taro powder made a perfect taste of sweet with earthy. You'd think taro powder alone wouldn't be enough, but you get great taro flavor throughout. The mochi was also super nice and soft. Only negative about the bingsu is I wish we got more mochi. But be warned, the location was very busy on a Sunday night. It was so busy you had to put your name on a waitlist to be seated inside, definitely not a casual spot to chill. That being said the workers are very diligent and are very kind. The next time I go to California I will definitely be coming back! read more

It just didn't go well with the bingsoo. I don't like how it's just coffee powder on top of the bingsoo rather than having infused coffee flavor within the icy/snowy part. Strawberry Cheese Bingsoo: nothing stood out. The cheesecake bites were good though. Once again, the flavors weren't infused enough. Mango Bingsoo: Mangoes were not sweet at all.
