Insane wait on a Saturday around 9pm. Like a ~45 min wait. Write your name on the clipboard, and someone will call out your name + party size, so stay close. Many parties didn't show up, so they would continue down the list. Order @ the register, and pick up your order at the counter. Very tasty, they are generous w the filling and toppings. Huge variety of flavors, something for everyone. Our group of 6 split 2, and felt it was the perfect amount.

I came on a Friday night and this place was packed! However, the staff and service were efficient so I was seated and served in no time. My friends and I shared the injeolmi bingsoo and it was sooo good! The ice was like powder and the toppings on top paired perfectly with it. The place can get crowded but don't let it discourage you from trying it out!

Located of Western Ave in Los Angeles in Koreatown. Parking is available in the structure where H Mart is. This place is a multi level with other eating spots, shops and movie theater. This place has a good amount of seating but being a popular spot it can get packed here. I got the strawberry match it was ok. Also tried the banana milk bingsoo as well that my friend got. Service was ok one of my friend's drink was made and ready but the buzzer wasn't working we were wondering what was taking so long since we all got our stuff, when he went to counter he was told yeah the buzzer wasn't working they could of said something or called it out or something. Overall the place has done good bingsoo and the drinks were good.

bingsu is what you THOUGHT it would taste like to eat a snowball as a kid... like a sweet icey marshmallow??? u could also gaslight urself into believing its "healthy" too since its just ice..... riiiiiggggght (ignores behemoths of condensed milk) we got the taro bingsu and LOOK AT THAT COLOR??? ITS MORE PURPLE THAN BARNEY?? the taro flavor was in the powder atop the shaved milk itself, so the bites at the top were the sweetest. I wish the taro flavor was mixed in the whole dessert, but nonetheless still up. Condensed milk also makes up like half my bloodstream, i love that stuff, so i poured it EVERYWHEREEEE. but the COCONUT AND RED BEAN PULLS IT ALL TOGETHER!! i get red bean instead of boba when i go to tea shops like UGH so yum. coconut and taro are just such an amazing flavor combo as well. AND THAT MOCHI MMMMMM LOOK AT IT!! final notes is that I wish the bingsu itself was sweeter and not relying on the taro powdered on top and condensed milk you pour on, but idk don't trust me im borderline diabetic. but one portion served THREE OF US so this is truly one of the best desserts to share with friends. service was quick too :)

We have a Sul & Beans location in Dallas as well, and it's very solid! This one is also quite good; my friends and I ordered a few things to try, and I really liked the injeolmi bingsoo. The flavor was fantastic, and the ice is so soft and creamy. It's a great dessert if you're looking for something lighter.

Very crowded, popular Korean shaved ice shop. Various choices, but some fruit shaved ices are seasonal. I tried injeolmi so this review may be skewed because it was unfortunately plain tasting, so it just tasted like a mountain of ice until you get to the absolute bottom where the thinned out condensed milk is. Recommendation: get a flavor that's strong tasting and sweet to balance the dullness that the ice. Restroom and validated parking available.

After a lovely dinner down the street, we couldn't leave LA without some dessert in our stomachs. If I'm going to be forced to sit in traffic, I need something to help hold me over. The plaza was bustling and there was a line forming out the door over at Sul and Beans, which something to be expected on a Friday night. Luckily, the staff members were going through the line quickly. We ordered Injeolmi Bingsoo and some coffee to help fend off the food coma. For those who aren't familiar, Injeolmi is a finely ground powder with a nutty aroma, commonly used with chewy rice cakes made from dried soybeans. Its savory profile balances the sweetness of the condensed milk, creating the perfect "not so sweet" combination. The brightly lit open space was refreshing as K-town sometimes induces claustrophobia without forewarning. Sul and Beans is always the safe choice if you're looking to grab a table, some hot/cold dessert and be able to talk with your friends until your mouth falls off.

I love this place. Every time I go, it never disappoints. The service is quick, and even when it gets busy, I usually don't have to wait long at all. 100% recommend checking out Sul & Beans.

I was craving dessert and this dessert spot has been on my ktown hitlist for a while and it was nearby. I ordered the green tea bingsoo and my friend got the yogurt berry bingsoo. I love their soft shave ice base and the layering. It's very smooth. It's refreshing and it's not too sweet. They give you condensed milk on the side. You can pour on top if you wanted to add a touch more sweetness to it. There are a decent amount of tables available. It was busy but our order still came out within 10 minutes. There is a parking structure nearby however we were lucky enough to find street parking nearby. This is forsure one of the premium dessert spots in ktown. Try it out if you like. :)

Sul & Beans is located inside a plaza similar to Daiso but on the second floor right next to Somisomi in Koreatown. This place serves a tasty shaved ice treat. I ordered the strawberry, which is light and refreshing. I came with a big group at night, and they had a little notepad in the front to write my name on. We had to wait a little bit but it was fine. We were just enjoying the talk and chats outside. My friend had the chocolate and that was also pretty tasty! The menu has a lot of different varieties so pick one and check it out! It is worth the wait and something to try.

I love to eat snow. Now I know you're assuming the kind that falls from the sky but think I might prefer the dessert kind the best. Sul & Beans is serving up the softest shaved milk base with a numerous array of toppings to choose from. It's a mandatory dessert after Korean bbq for me because it leaves your second stomach (aka: your dessert stomach) satisfied without overwhelming you. I got the strawberry cheese bingso and as you can see from the photo they really do load it on! Plus as you dig deeper there's strawberries hidden that pop up as you eat. Quite lovely! I don't believe they charged for extra condensed milk like other places which is always a plus. Everything was so delicious and cold. There's a parking structure but it does get crowded on weekends. Overall this spot never fails to satisfy. Final Verdict: I'm snow into this place!! 10/10

wow what a great dessert spot!! today we tried Sul and Beans after a humongous meal. there's metered street parking outside (can be difficult to find a spot) and they do have 2 restrooms inside with codes that show on your receipt. we decided to order the earl gray bingsoo, which was a huge portion. it took maybe 10 minutes to get our food. we were served the bingsoo on this nice platter with a side cup of condensed milk. the bingsoo itself was sooo tasty!! there was a lot of graham cracker powder on the shaved ice, and the most delicious part was this sweet earl gray flavored cream on top. when you mixed everything together it was like a flavor bomb. I wish they gave us a little more of that cream on top but it was still delicious anyway. I think there was also cocoa powder underneath all that bingsoo lol. the place itself is inside one of the large shopping plazas in ktown, so you can eat some shaved ice and then go check out other businesses like daiso and aladdin used books. i'd like to come back here and try more flavors!!

Came on a Friday night and there was a long wait to sit inside. We did have the option of to go and then finding a place to sit outside. There were two tables outside but people waiting to sit inside were sitting in the chairs so that was super annoying. We decided to order to go. Although the presentation of the to go is not as pretty. They even give it to you in an insulated bag. It still hits the spot. We got the mango, strawberry, green tea, black sesame. My favorite was definitely the mango. The condensed milk was on the side so it wasn't too sweet.

The place was somewhat small but wasn't really busy for a Saturday afternoon, and we noticed they had some spacious auxiliary seating areas specifically for Oakobing across the hall. At first glance, the prices seemed sort of high for shaved ice, so we opted for sharing 2 of the smallest personal sizes ($8.5 each). It turns out that this size was plenty. I'm not sure how big the regular bowls are, but I think especially after a meal the personal size is plenty for a satisfying dessert for 2 people. I'm assuming part of the large price difference in sizes comes down to the large amount of fresh fruit that comes on their regular bowls. Still, we very much enjoyed our bowls. The ice is shaved almost impossibly thin, and rather than melting into a pool of water almost turns into a sorbet/ice cream like texture, which is very satisfying to eat. I enjoyed how their condensed milk topping was diluted to form a lighter cream that was more sauce-like than think and drizzle-like. It all lended to making the dessert enjoyably light. I would definitely drop by again, especially if we could avoid the parking costs.
