Don't like the model of not being able to select your service provider but I already paid so was going to continue as long as it worked. Today I was 20 minutes late ok I'll take the hit. Keep the payment do one service for me. They only allow you to book one service at a time even if you want multiple things in your appointment another "ich" to the model. Turns out they moved my second appointment (same day) to a different time without telling me so when I arrived they said I was late by 10 mins but was 10 minutes early for the time I booked. The young girls at the front desk were absolutely no help. I kept saying my service time and she would say the time they moved it to without notice. Canceled my membership right after. Too many options out here for incompetent service. read more

New location is amazing - love it! I've been getting sugared for at least the past 5 years at their CDM location. I wasn't thrilled with the parking situation there, but sugaring is SO much easier on my sensitive skin than waxing and less time consuming than shaving and that location was the closest to my office. The membership is easy and reasonably priced. This location has plenty of parking (even spaces right up front!). It has a cool beachy vibe and everything is very clean. Three sugaring rooms and three tanning rooms. My sugarista was great - friendly and easy to chat with. She told me to take deep breaths when sugaring sensitive spots, which helped prevent any discomfort. I'll have to go back for tanning. They've done a great job in the past of making it look natural for this normally pale redhead! read more

I really wanted to like this place but I have a few things that bothered me and have discontinued paying the monthly membership. First, I didn't feel comfortable with the way their doors do not locked during service for their Brazilian service. You have to lay down wide spread facing the sliding doors for this service leaving you exposed. If you ask to face the opposite way the person doing the e service has an issue. They are not accommodating to your request, I've asked 3x. I had a monthly membership for Sugaring and Bronzing. I have an issue with any company who charges for gratuities without asking me how the service is and doing a 18-20% charge on my card without me agreeing to the gratuity and especially for spray tanning. This only happened once but that was enough for me. I decided to discontinue my membership and move on. read more

I really like the sugaring service. The techs are great and well trained for sugaring. My frustration is with how they've managed my account. It was actually the manager from the Newport office that suggested for me to switch to the single membership because of all the loyalty points that were stacking up for me. I really appreciated her suggestion so I went ahead with that option filled out the form and returned it. The automated email confirmed my account change , but a month later found out that my account wasn't changed while at Los Olivos Irvine facility. The technician in Irvine working the front desk was completely nonchalant, dismissive, unprofessional.."like... no big deal, the manager will be here any minute, she will review and I'll make sure she calls you." while singing and chewing gum. Of course..I never received a call because like "who really cares". Ugh! By the way, I always tip 20%. it's not about the money. It's about the dismissive incompetent behavior. Every time the girls in Irvine provide directions around managing my account, they have always been wrong. Two months prior. I had a question about an over charge and the girls at the front desk told me to call corporate. "The number is on the website and they will make sure to provide me a refund, or credit, etc., " Of course, there is no number to call on the website, so I left it alone. I just ignored it . so when I go to Newport, I really appreciated the manager/young lady being proactive with my account and suggesting for me to change it. So, I follow the process. and even with automated emails confirming the change they still screw it up. so forget it. I'll just get pay for laser. read more

I've been to my share of waxing and tanning places because I've had a variety of areas waxed since high school and have been tanning since my mom had to sign a waiver. Needless to say, that means I've had my fair share of experiences with places and people for waxes and tans. Sugared and Bronzed is bar none the best I've been to in Orange County. I've never left unhappy. Highly highly recommend any location but the Irvine one is something special and it's so convenient right off the freeway. read more

I came to S+B once before for a Brazilian wax, and it was about the same intensity of discomfort as EWC but I like that sugaring results in less waste and I was still happy with the results. I got an armpit and Brazilian wax from this location a while back and it was such an awesome and relaxing experience! I was super nervous to get waxed and this was actually my first time getting sugar waxing. I got my waxing done by Daniela and she was amazing! She was able to answer all my questions about sugar waxing and guided me throughout the process to help me stay relaxed. Honestly, I felt very calm and she told me when to breathe at the right moments to alleviate any pain that came from waxing! Anywho, the results are phenomenal and I felt so smooth and non-irritated. The place is also very neat, tidy, and minimal. Felt good to know that the place where I am getting waxing done is nice and clean as well. I have a membership for sugaring and it is the absolute best! Yes, it's painful BUT bearable. The staff is super awesome and very chatty during the appointments which keeps your mind off the pain. When I tell you my first experience (Irvine location) was AMAZING, definitely not exaggerating, as well as the ambiance from waiting area to the actual room. Very nice! I definitely would recommended Sugar + Bronzed! I got a Brazilian and a spray tan, and my results and experience exceeded expectations. Previously, I was waxing and started to get really bad Ingrown hair, and now that I've been sugaring, I haven't got any more, which I can't believe. Also, the hair is growing back slowly and more fine. I want to try my underarms and legs next. The spray tan had a pleasant and refreshing smell, and the bronze color looked really natural. It is way better than getting a spray tan in a booth because it's more even and my feet didn't get too dark. 5 stars! read more

Quality of tan seems good . curious how long it will last. Only negative is that 18% tip automatically added to bill. I personally don't appreciate that. It was our first time there right before our trip and my legs especially I felt stayed pretty tanned for over a couple of weeks. I'm so happy I found Sugared and Bronzed! Soo happy with my spray tan results! I called in at 10pm the night before my birthday and the girls were able to see me with no problems!! All the girls were very kind and helpful! I highly recommend. I saw a comment about the tipping and I think it's great that they let you know there is a tipping fee it's 2023 everyone works so hard with no pay increase now a days I think it's great that a tip is required.
