I stock up on their Jung Saem Mool cushion foundation - April 2026 @ $54 comes with refill. Store is a little cramped but I usually go in to get what I need and I get out. Parking is a beast at the Diamond Jamboree lot so try to get there during non rush hour times. They open late after 11am so a bit of a hassle if you're in a rush and crunched for time. Service has always been good when I'm there. The staff is friendly and give good suggestions on what products work for their skin type (Asian skin).

They don't have a lot of selections compared to shibuyala, but definitely more than Tokyo Central/Mitsuwa. They also carry Asian sunscreens with filters that are not available in the us. They do have a bunch of testers so it's nice when you can do that versus hope that a product work if you're buying something internationally online. It seems like the items are a little bit more expensive than online, but I guess it's the cost of doing business and person, labor, and shipping as well. Rating: 3/5 I recently visited Sugared and Bronze for a tanning session, and overall, it was a good experience. The facilities are beautiful and impeccably clean, creating a relaxing atmosphere. My technician was friendly and knowledgeable, addressing all my queries with patience. However, my enjoyment was marred by the gratuity process. Upon checkout, I was informed that there's an automatic 18% suggested gratuity applied by the ownership. While I appreciate the transparency, I found the process pressuring. When I inquired about adjusting the gratuity manually, I felt uncomfortable as the technician had to handle the adjustment, making it awkward for both of us. It seems like a deliberate move from ownership to pressure customers into paying a predetermined tip amount. I believe there should be a more discreet method for customers to determine their gratuity, ensuring privacy and comfort for both parties. So excited that I decided to try this Brazilian sugaring today! I had such a negative experience at another place (not sugared + bronzed). So I let my esthetician know this (Hailey). She was so kind from the minute I stepped in the door. I expressed about my history and she was able to sympathize with me. I am just SO grateful for her! Not only did she do an amazing job, but I had minimal pain. I could tell she was experienced. She kept me relaxed and talked to me throughout the process. I was referred to sugared and bronzed by a friend who has a membership. After extensive research about sugaring and similar businesses in the Orange County area, I decided to try it out. Joanna was really professional, and she did a great job of making me feel relaxed and comfortable. It felt like I had been going to her for a long time already. Overall, I tried to approach the situation with understanding and respect, but the experience ultimately left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed with how things were handled. Because they do not accept credit cards and my credit union app was having issues with Zelle, I paid in cash. Between the cancellation fee, service, and tip, I ended up $8 short. What made the situation especially uncomfortable was that the technician was aware of some personal circumstances I have been dealing with. So hearing that exceptions had been made for other clients, but not for me, felt dismissive and lacking in compassion during an already difficult time. A few days later, they contacted me regarding the remaining balance. Around that same time, I developed bumps and was seen by my dermatologist, who diagnosed folliculitis related to the sugaring service. When I informed the salon, the response was disappointing. Instead of addressing the issue directly, they sent aftercare instructions afterward, which I believe should have been reviewed immediately following a Brazilian service, and stated that folliculitis can occur. The technician also mentioned that other clients had been excused from similar balances, but that flexibility was not extended to me. Given the overall experience, lack of accountability, and customer service concerns, I chose not to return and did not pay the remaining $8 balance. Based on my experience, I would proceed carefully and encourage others to ask questions about policies, aftercare guidance, and communication expectations before booking
