Sugar Studios is more 2.5 stars, but the employees are so friendly I will bump it up. I really wanted to like this place! I love sweets, and I love supporting local businesses. Unfortunately, Sugar Studios fell really flat :( I took my daughter around 12:30, and there wasn't much of a selection. 2 cupcakes, a handful of cookies, and quite a few cinnamon rolls. I really love cupcakes, so I ordered a vanilla cream cheese cupcake. My daughter chose a chocolate chip cookie. There are no prices on anything, so I was a little surprised when our total for the two items was almost $7! For a regular sized cupcake and small cookie that is expensive! We took our goodies to the park, and taking my first bite of the cupcake it immediately fell apart! Literally crumbled apart :( And, there was a hard jelly filling inside...not good at all. One of the worst cupcakes I've had, I was so bummed :( My daughter enjoyed her cookie. And, the staff is very friendly. But at those prices, and the overall quality I won't be returning. read more

If it's crepes you're after, here you go! And not only that, their cookies are magnificent. The owner went out of her way to package up special cookies for my grandkids. But back to the crepes! I had the special, one chooses one savory and one sweet, smaller in size, but two for 12.99! I chose the crab and spinach, and the lemon. Oh goodness. The crab crepe had a fabulous Dijon sauce, I could have eaten two! And the lemon one was sweet and just slightly tart, just like a good lemon meringue pie. Absolutely delicious. Just tried out the savory crepes and smoothies today. Was very good! I like how everything is natural. They have two different kinds of crepes. Wheat for the savory and Swedish for the sweet. I will be back to try them all out! The smoothies are fresh fruit with different milk choices and you can add protein powder or super greens. I am not sure if they were having an off day or what. First the coffee was so strong and cold. I added five creamers and it barely lightened. Being a new customer we knew we want a sweet and a savory to share. Luckily they had a special just like that in the small size. Perfect! Not so much. The sweet one barely had any filling and was cold. The filling in the savory was really good however the crepes on both were not done. They were rubbery and not brown at all. Their frosted sugar cookies are WAY too sweet. WAY too sweet. You can't have a super sweet cookie with an overly sweet frosting. The pairing needs a balance, not an abundance. Also, service is slow. Cozy little place, and the lady running this place was super nice. We had a bacon and egg (savory) and a strawberry cheesecake (sweet) crepe. She threw Black Forest ham in our savory too because we were having a hard time deciding!!! The flavor balance was great and the eggs were perfect. The savory was one of the best savory I've had recently. The strawberry was great too, just didn't quite hit the spot as much on a cold morning. I am very disappointed with this place.. I ordered 3 dozen Christmas cookies a few weeks ago and 3 personalized cookies for my sons birthday on Christmas Eve. My mom picked up the cookies for me so I had asked her to take a picture of the 3 personalized cookies for my son so I can see them and they were NOT decorated the way I had asked!!!! I called and spoke with someone from the store and told her that my order was not correct, she told me she was at an event but she would call me first the following morning to get it all taken care of. Well guess what, SHE NEVER CALLED!!! Also, my mom called me after o spoke with the lady from the shop and told me she just noticed that over half of the cookies were either cracked or broken in half! I bought to lemon bars, a lemon cranberry cookie, and a bottle of water. This was 7.61. The cookie was so dry it crumbled into pieces. It had no flavor. The lemon bars also were not flavorful and they were 1 inch by 1 inch and cost a 1.25 per bar. In the display there were corner pieces that looked like they were just a bite size. I was deeply unsatisfied. The people were nice, but I will not return and have told others not to go there. Too expensive and the items weren't good. read more

What a wonderful find! My granddaughters had the strawberry cheesecake crepes and I had the savory crepe: prosciutto, brie, spinach and pesto. So delicious! Staff and owner were very friendly. There was a large group already eating when I arrived, but I was warmly welcomed and served efficiently. Eating area is small and cozy, but not uncomfortable. I had a scrambled egg, cheese and spinach crepe and it was delicious. Nice combination of flavors and just the right size for me. Nice staff/owner, customers appear to be enjoying their crepes, however the Cinammon Rolls are terrible! They do not look appetizing, extremely small and flat- but I thought I would give it a shot because I love supporting local businesses. Well... they tasted like stale cookies not the traditional rolls one would expect. I even tried to heat them up and it still tasted the same but warm. It also lacked any Cinammon flavor. I also got a coffee. It was not worth the price. It was horrible. It tastes like gas station coffee. I wouldn't recommend this place and We will not be back. At first glance the prices were a little high for the savory style crepes; prices were average for the sweet ones. We decided to eat outside, very nice. The location makes for a decent atmosphere. I got the veggie crepe with added ham and pesto. Very well made! Full to the brim with flavor and food. It was about $10. I thought a little high but after getting the plate, oh wow was it worth it! My family and friends visiting from Hawaii came in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The workers were flustered by our large order of 6 Nutella banana crepes, a princess sugar cookie and baklava, as well as the seating area being completely full of other customers. $9 per crepe seems pricey especially since the filling was barely half a banana and a few lines of nutella. The whip cream added on the side was pretty small as well. The worker had to be reminded of our cookie and baklava. I had a savory crêpe and a sweet crepe when I visited! Both were amazing! It seems like the little shop is run by two ladies who were both very polite. It's just a little spot there's not much to it, but simple delicious crapes. One of my favorite meals to enjoy. There were quite a few choices, most of them are really healthy which I really liked. Everything is made in house including the very nicely decorated cookies. You either have to sit outside, or take home. There are two tables I believe inside but if you have a larger party or family of more than four It may be a little awkward to eat there. When I sat in the chair outside it started to sink down in the wet ground. I will definitely be going back, I also invited some people from church to possibly have brunch there one day after service.
