This is a wonderful bakery and coffee shop located in Silverdale. The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes are what originally brought me in. It is lodged between a few auto repair places within a strip mall, so just be prepared to listen to your GPS. The staff who work here are welcoming and knowledgeable. The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes are clearly marked, and often, they have those delicious treats in the day old case. It's the same delicious cupcake for LESS money. SCORE! I have food allergies, so I don't often get to enjoy cakes or sweet treats and definitely not treats that are baked to perfection like these cupcakes. 100% recommended. I usually adventure here with someone who eats regular cupcakes, and they have a huge selection of regular gourmet cupcakes. They come in two sizes, either regular or mini size. I tried Bella Bella cupcakes for dessert tonight. I wanted to try three different kinds, so I ordered a classic carrot cake standard cupcake, a carrot cake cheesecake mini cupcake, and a chocolate chocolate mini cupcake. When I got home I realized that I had a classic carrot cake standard cupcake and a classic carrot cake mini cupcake. An understandable mistake, but disappointing, especially given the prices and the fact that I live pretty far away. The business has very pretty decor, and the people were really nice. I mentioned that I don't like hard sprinkles, and was told that if I call ahead of time, they can custom decorate them for me. It's worth the prices to just get a few little treats since I don't have a family and I don't want to bake a whole bunch just for myself, but they just tasted like regular cupcakes. We love Bella Bella! They have a variety of yummy, gorgeous cupcakes with rotating flavors. The best part? Two gluten free flavors daily! I let my kiddo choose a mini cupcake. He was delighted by them all but only chocolate will do for this kid. The portion was right for him actually eating the cake and not just frosting. My husband went for lemon raspberry. I bought both gluten free flavors: chocolate and lemon raspberry. Both were delicious with a good texture. The shop is cute. They do custom cakes and sometimes brownies or macarons which are super yummy. There is nowhere to sit and enjoy. I guess people like to eat their treats elsewhere. read more

This is a cute little bakery and the cupcakes were nicely decorated and tasted OK but I had hoped for much better. The vanilla and chocolate cakes that weren't filled were a bit dry and crumbly. I was mostly disappointed by the way the store is presented. When you walk in the front 2/3 is full of shelves with cake stands that I assume are for sale cluttering them. They weren't laid out in any attractive way, or in a way that made you wanna look at them. The display case was very small and not very full. I was hoping there would be something other than cupcakes, but there wasn't. Nothing in the display cases was labeled, so you had to have someone tell you what everything was. My MIL ordered my daughter some mushroom decorated cupcakes. Half chocolate and half vanilla. The decoration was very well done and was super cute. The cupcakes themselves were meh at best. Chocolate cupcake didn't really taste like chocolate and the vanilla was bland too. They also tasted old and there was too much frosting. Service hours are a bit dysfunctional. Someone left the open sign on the day after Christmas which left some pretty disappointed customers. I heard it's under new management and they no longer offer the peanut butter cupcake. Truly disappointing one of the best bakery spots in silverdale has gone to the dogs. read more

There are not too many bakery options in Silverdale, but I really do enjoy the quality of the goods here. The cupcakes are all delicious, even the flavors I don't usually gravitate toward. I have never been able to get my daughter a cake due to her allergies and the lack of bakeries providing that type of service where we've lived. Finding Bella Bella after moving here has been the best. They perfectly executed what I'd asked for and it turned out better than I could've imagined. It was vegan chocolate and also so delicious! My thoughtful Hubby found this bakery after hearing I had new dietary restrictions right before my birthday. The standby red velvet that usually made for me were suddenly out and he had to get something fast. He found Bella Bella in Silverdale and it did not disappoint. I didn't think gluten and dairy free could taste that delicious! Specialty things need ordered in advance and they have to be at least 6 of one flavor. They also make scrumptious macarons. If you are a cupcake person Bella Bella is a must! Ive never tried a flavor I didnt like, however my favorites are the Bella Velvet and the Salted Caramel. I personally like Bella Bella over Cupcake Royale in Seattle, and this is the only cupcake shop in Kitsap. The location is a little awkward, between a bunch of car repair shops, very easy to drive by and miss. Its not a big shop, but doesn't have to be since most of the customers are coming in and taking a box and walking right back out, they do have some seating though. The cupcakes are on rotation! So it will be different each day and if you want to try something specifically you will want to go on their website and see the cupcakes available for any particular day. My daughter's first birthday was yesterday and we ordered a dozen white chocolate caramel mocha cupcakes and a custom unicorn face (vanilla cake, vanilla filling) cake. Every person we dealt with in person or via email (Stacy for the cake) were friendly and professional. The cakes were moist and tasty. The filling was smooth, but not too sweet. The frosting was good and might be too sweet for some, but for it it was perfect for us (it's a celebration after all). While the cupcakes and cake might be delicious, the lack of communication needs to be fixed. I am a wedding planner that has been trying to get a finalized invoice for a wedding since April 2023. I have emailed at least 15 times and called and left 6 or 7 messages just to be told that we would get back to you soon regarding the invoice. We are now a week out from the wedding and I had to find a last minute baker who could take on the order, even though we were assured that someone would get back to us. As a wedding planner, I deal with a number of vendors and a true busy season where people may not get back to you as quickly, but I have never had as horrible of an experience as I did with Bella Bella Bakery. This was such a waste of my clients time and my time and we still are out the deposit for our order. Please avoid using Bella Bella for any of your special events. While they responded at first, the lack of response and ability to get back to me regarding this order left me with a larger problem to solve, wasted time and a bad feeling in my stomach that we might not have a cake delivered at all on the wedding day with no one ever responding or reaching back out. Update - 8/21 - Ben gave me a call and apologized profusely for the lack of communication and explained that they have been having some internal administrative issues that have caused this and have since let go of their administrative person. He reassured me that my couple would receive a refund of their deposit and that his team is working on fixing their communication issues for future. read more
