The gluten-free and vegan cupcakes are clearly marked, and often, they have those delicious treats in the day old case. It's the same delicious cupcake for LESS money. SCORE! I have food allergies, so I don't often get to enjoy cakes or sweet treats and definitely not treats that are baked to perfection like these cupcakes. 100% recommended. I usually adventure here with someone who eats regular cupcakes, and they have a huge selection of regular gourmet cupcakes. They come in two sizes, either regular or mini size. An understandable mistake, but disappointing, especially given the prices and the fact that I live pretty far away. The business has very pretty decor, and the people were really nice. I mentioned that I don't like hard sprinkles, and was told that if I call ahead of time, they can custom decorate them for me. It's worth the prices to just get a few little treats since I don't have a family and I don't want to bake a whole bunch just for myself, but they just tasted like regular cupcakes. I realize a simple avocado toast isn't always exciting and honestly, I wasn't expecting much given my experiences here in the past - but I was starving and this was the closest "real" food to me. The bread was this weird mix of stale and soggy with impossibly tough crust (I'm guessing due to the stale?) and the avocado, while green, had that unique taste of an avocado that's a solid day past its prime. My guess is they mash them up and treat them with lemon or lime juice to keep them green. This definitely wasn't fresh avocado. Sadly. Not related to the food - the toast came in the box shown here but also a giant bag with several forks and knives and napkins. Like they felt a family of four was going to eat this? It didn't make any sense. And finally, just like my other visits the folks working there truly seem like they could not care any less if you paid them to.
