a kitchen with a table, refrigerator, and window

Stopped by today to try out their burger. I've got an update. They accept credit cards. :-) Prices have gone up (where hasn't it?) but you can still get a burger for $6. Adding cheese makes it $7 and adding bacon makes it $10. The last time I came here was pre-Covid. Whatever small, interior hole-in-the-wall charm has been pushed out to reclaim storage space and make it more of a takeout or dine outside experience. It's not great, but there is a two-person table pushed by the wall that really isn't for customers, but they let me eat my lunch there since it was pretty frigid outside. Going with the cold weather theme, I got a bowl of chili to go with my burger -- a single deluxe with cheese and bacon. I was impressed with how fast it came out. Pretty good burger. My only complaint is cheese wasn't melted on it. The chili was chunky, hot, and tasty... a perfect complement to temperature in the 40s.

Blackened Chicken Wrap

This is a really good spot literally in the middle of no where. I got the blackened chicken wrap and it was amazing. My friends love to get their cheesesteak every time they come. Service is quick and easy. You order at a window, sit down and they'll call your order. Parking is limited from what I saw up front. Most people grab their food and go. Great lunch spot!

So cute!

A&M Kitchen - Southern Fried Chicken and Biscuit was to die for.

I've been wanting to stop by for a long time, but I've always felt intimidated by the notoriously…read morelong waits of brunch spots. However, once I realized you could waitlist online, it was a game changer. We got: Biscuit with fried chicken smothered in gravy: The seasoning on the fried chicken is great, and the chicken itself is juicy and perfect. Pair that with their exceptional gravy and a hearty mouthful of biscuit and it's a done deal. It's a HUGE portion, so come hungry or share. Classic breakfast (forgot what it's called but eggs, protein, biscuit, grits): I got my eggs scrambled and these were probably the best scrambled eggs I've ever had outside of my own home. It was just the way I liked them--definitely scrambled, but juicy, flavorful, and soft. The grits were a crowd favorite on our table--super rich and creamy. Smoked ham was salty (as most smoked ham are) but incredible soft and nice to eat. I thought my favorite would be the biscuit (I'm a HUGE biscuit girl) but it actually wasn't as buttery as I thought. It wasn't bad, but I think I'll take the grits over it any day. I can't believe how delicious this place was. All the plates coming out looked amazing (the sweet breakfast items, wow!) and we are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. I'd say this is a 4.5 due to the biscuit falling a little flat (not literally because that thing was fluffy!) BUT service was also great so it's bumping up to a 5. We're so happy to find a go-to brunch spot in this area--definitely give it a try!

So do the math and get there early. lol. The servers are tuned in and work very fast and efficiently but don't rush you. Which helps turn the tables for those waiting. I was in a bit of a healthy mood so I went with the bacon avocado spinach omelette with a side of cut fruit. It was delicious. Fluffy eggs, perfectly sautéd spinach with some melted pepper lack cheese added just the right amount of spice. That and a side of fresh cut fruit made for a very tasty and enjoyable breakfast. Bookmarked and added to my collection folder of best breakfasts.

The staff were all very friendly as well. We started with the white mocha which was delicious. I got the California croissant to try something new and my husband got the Nest panini. I was wavering between a few sandwiches and at their suggestion I got the Philly and a choconana chunk. My husband got the nest panini and a dirty chai. The Philly was great! The bread was soft and the overall sandwich had great flavor. The tater tots were crispy which I love. The choconana chunk was honestly my favorite thing. Perfect texture because it wasn't too thick to where you can't get anything in the straw like some smoothies and shakes tend to be. Classic combo of chocolate, banana and pb. My husband liked the panini but said the chicken was a little dryer than he'd like but some extra chipotle sauce did the trick. The pasta salad was great. We ate outside because it was a lovely day, but there is plenty of indoor seating as well. Cute and cozy. Overall we will definitely come back and try more menu items next time! Excited to try their specials.

My husband sticks to the classics (and loves every bite), while I always look forward to whatever creative seasonal dishes Andy and Amber come up with. Fall is my favorite time because I have to get the butternut squash pasta--it's that good. It's always great to see POPS busy, even during the week. It just adds to the energy of downtown and makes you appreciate having such a gem in the community. We truly hope POPS becomes a longtime staple here in Canton--places like this deserve it. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it.

It was not immediately clear to me that this place was a counter service/seat yourself establishment. Restaurant had the vibe inside that it recently shut half its seating & bar space. The food was good, but I hope they improve the dine in experience.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Her visits were spaced out a bit longer due to it being an extremely busy night. And we never waited long for a drink refill. Our food came out quicker than I expected. We started with the giant pretzel, and next time I will order double cheese sauce. It also came with whole grain mustard and cinnamon sugar sauce (the latter was surprisingly good paring). For entrees my wife had the vegetable plate which differed from the menu description (no sweet potato or whipped feta), but she enjoyed it. And I shared all the vegetables that came with my entree, which was the braised short rib. It was fork tender and served atop rich and creamy risotto. The green beans on the side were cooked perfectly and lightly seasoned. I also added a side of the mushrooms and onions (with predominant item being mushrooms), and it was a generous portion. We enjoyed all the flavors in our meals and appreciated the quality ingredients.

Hard to explain as foreigner, but this restaurant has it all. And the food is very good and with some special kick. Just make sure you have enough $$$ available to eat with your family and friends. The price of any main dinner item is above average. $ 32-50 is the range. A dinner for two with 4 drinks and a small appetizer will reach for sure $100+tip, of course the amount of food on your plate can easily be eaten without asking to pack the rest when you leave. There will be no leftovers, you may have to order even a little more to fill your stomach when you're hungry. It's a restaurant for people with higher food quality expectations and enough money to pay for it. I can't afford that a second time, it was a one time only thing. Next time must be somewhere else, because my wallet isn't filled enough, even my mouth likes to get more of the great food ! It's worth to spend your money , just try it yourself !
