    A hidden gem near Midtown and Buckhead! Since I have found this restaurant several weeks ago I have been there for three times and the experiences were all good. This spot is clearly not the Rumi or Delbar style -- its not a big restaurant, its decor is low-key, its dishes are not as creative or seasonally chaing as Delbar... But they do serve some good quality, affordable Persian food, especially some you cannot find in nearby Middle Eastern restaurants. For example, the Ghormeh Sabzi was an interesting meat and herb stew with an amazing hinty of sourness from dried lime. They also have Ghormeh Bademjoon, but unlike the Delbar version which uses lamb shank, theirs feature bite-size cubes of beef, and I think their portion of split peas is better than Delbar's. Other uncommon dishes include e.g. Mast spinach, a yogurt-spinach blend. My friends and I both think their Shirin Polo is better than Rumi's because they put carrots and their orange zest had more fragrance. However, I found that the saltiness of their complimentary barbari bread was constantly changing lol and for most of the time too salty for me. Service was fast, perhaps because the restuarant was usually not packed with ppl., and the staff were friendly to me. I will definitely return and try more interesting dishes -- perhaps at lunch next time, as the dishes are just less expensive for lunch.

    A friend recommended Sufi's Kitchen and we are so glad he did. We had an amazing meal. The noise level was low. Our server was friendly. We started with the appetizer trio, hummus, eggplant, and falafel. All three were good and served with plenty of pita bread. They also brought out a small plate of cheese, olives, cucumber and nuts. For the entrees, we tried the Zereshk Polo with Chicken Kabob. This was the star of the night. We all agreed that the chicken was seasoned beautifully and the rice was very tasty with barberries giving it a slightly sweet flavor. The lamb kabobs with the basmati rice was also good. This rice had raisins and lentils. The stew was a vegetarian dish, also enjoyable. We did save room for desert. We shared the Baklava Cheese Cake. It was a generous slice of baklava with a cheesecake layer in the middle. So good! We will definitely come back to Sufi's.

    Such a great restaurant. I had the lamb and my daughter had the lamb shank. Healthy portions with great seasoning and great service. We went on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. There's parking in the back and if you come into the evenings, you will most likely have valet. Try the lamb. Yum.

    Really delicious food for a good price for downtown ATL lunch. Lunch came with some bread & toppings. I didn't really know what to do with it so just wrapped it with everything included. It was so good! I ordered a chicken wrap and my husband the beef skewer. Portions were filling - couldn't finish the wrap but my husband did finish his plate. My wrap was flavorful and filling. Husband said the beef was super tender and went well with the rice and roasted veg. Overall would def return next time I'm in the area! Service was a bit slow but they seemed busy at lunch.

    Sufi's offers a cozy atmosphere with warm and attentive service that really enhances the dining experience. The standout dish for me was the Joojeh Kabob -- perfectly marinated bone-in Cornish game hen with a subtle saffron aroma that paired beautifully with the fluffy basmati rice. While the portion was on the smaller side for $23, the flavor more than made up for it. The Lamb Koobideh Kabob was another highlight -- generously portioned, juicy, and grilled to perfection. At $22, it's a great value for the taste and amount of food. I also enjoyed a glass of Bordeaux for $10, which paired nicely with the Joojeh Kabob. While the wine itself was solid, the pour was on the smaller side. That said, I appreciated the comprehensive wine and drink list -- they clearly put thought into their beverage offerings. Overall, a strong 4-star experience. Would definitely come back for the friendly service and delicious kabobs. Great food, great service--just a few minor tweaks away from perfect.

    Sufi's was a pretty good formal Middle Eastern spot in Buckhead. There's a massive lot in the back, making parking super easy. We were there at around 6:30 on Monday and were the first table to sit down. We got a roasted eggplant app to start with and then I had the lamb chops. I also tried the steak kebab and all three of the dishes were really good. I also wasn't expecting to like the raisin in the rice, but the rice was good too. Overall, Sufi's would be my choice for a formal Middle Eastern restaurant in Atlanta, but I do like the ambiance of other places like Delbar and Rumi's a bit better.

    Came here for dinner- doesn't get busy until after 7:30 p.m.. Delicious food, incredibly fluffy rice, good service always filling your pita bread and waters, good parking right behind (HUGE lot), tucked next to a burrito and breakfast joints (each with their own funky personality). Good flavors and would highly recommend coming back here again. Ordered the appetizer trio. hummus was smooth with a bright zesty flavor. Also got the Sufi's special which was an eggplant tomato based gravy that paired beautifully with the humus on pita bread. The falafel was also great- I'm usually not a falafel person bc I find them to be too oily or too chick pea heavy but this one had a beautiful bright green filling. The pita bread is extremely addicting. Be careful not to overeat before you get to the main courses. I ordered the Ghemeh Bademjoon which Chunks of lean beef cooked in tomato sauce, split peas, sautéed eggplant, onions and served with saffron basmati rice. A beautiful dish that was reminiscent of Moroccan spices for me. not too strong, soothing and warm with the fluffiest rice possible. Others in my family ordered the lamb shank which fell off the bone and was delicious. There were a bunch of different kinds of chicken kabobs and what differentiated them all was the type of textures (cube, ground, all in one stick, etc). Good service and clean area- seemed to be a hit with other Persian folks. Would come back here again.

    We've been looking for a Persian restaurant near us that was not as pricy as Rumi's (my all time favorite) that we could enjoy more regularly for lunch or dinner. I ordered the chicken kabob with the Lima beans and dill basmati rice ($3 up charge) and my boyfriend ordered the lamb kabob with saffron basmati rice. Decent wine and bourbon options (we did not partake at lunch). Definitely want to go back to enjoy dinner here. Follow their IG @sufisatlanta so you know when they have a live musician playing (which we love). Kristi is the manager and she was great!

It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

The star of the first round, however, was the whole cauliflower, roasted and spiced. Without reservation, I can say it is the most I have ever enjoyed cauliflower - and I shall return for it again! I was already full by the time my falafel arrived for my main course. Falafel was exactly as it was supposed to be, and it was good. I ate it all, and then, a la Violet Beauregard upon leaving the chocolate factory, had to be rolled out of the restaurant! Our server and his food runners were all gems!
