SuengLEE electric - Electrical issue - Electricians Near Me - Fullerton, California

Great company. My wife and I just bought a house and realized the ceiling fan in the living room was installed improperly. The ceiling fans mount was attached directly to the 2x4 rather than having a universal bracket. To top it off, they tapped into a hot wire and never added a switch to turn of the power. So with without the ceiling remote you'd never be able to turn off the light. Reached out to SuengLee electric, they came out monday to provide a free estimate on the spot then came Wednesday to complete the job. Totally recommend, very punctual and courteous. read more

I called SuengLee Electric in the morning for a light switch that was not responding... they were very quick to reply to my inquiry. Said the soonest they could be out was in the afternoon... but they called just an hour or so after my inquiry reply and said they were done w/ their job sooner than expected and met me at my house within 15 mins... their rates were affordable, didn't charge extra for coming out right away and didn't charge me any extra for the light switch replacement. Was in and out within 15-20minutes and the job was more than efficient and well done... I will be calling them in the very near future to set up another appointment to check out some faulty outlets when I have more time in the day. Very much appreciated! Great service, efficient and very pleasant to work with! Glad to have a trusty electrician I can call when needed:) read more

Can't say how much I appreciate Peter and Mr. Lee. They were very professional and kept on scheduled. The city of Anaheim was very picky with the electrical panel upgrade inspections but Suenglee electric were great dealing with the city. Highly recommended for EV and electrical panel needs. read more

Mr. Sueng Lee installed a pendant light where there was no existing wiring for me. The job was complicated and time consuming but he defined what perfection is. He is not just an electrician but an electrician with craftsmanship. He really took his time to make a plan when he first came for an estimate. He is very skillful, courteous, patient, and most of all detail oriented. He even took the time to level the light by adjusting the string length one by one. I had a similar light put up before by someone else and they just told me I could adjust the length myself. He never told me he needed some more parts and would need to charge me more because of it during the job. When I was getting quotes, some electricians told me if they'd have to cut the drywall, they wouldn't patch it. They would refer me to someone else to patch it. Mr. Sueng Lee patched the drywall after he had to cut it for the job. All I need to do is to paint. He not only saved me money but also time. He laid down clean films on the floor to protect the surface before the job. He even cleaned the floor with a broom after he was done. During the whole process, he was very patient. He really took his time to get the job done perfectly. He did not make me feel he was in a rush to get it done so that he could go to his next. The price was also unbelievably reasonable. Next time if I need any electrical work done, I will go straight to him. People like Mr. Sueng Lee with such skills, patience, and manners, deserve to be known. read more

I'm a 1st time customer. My house would lose power when no one's using electricity. I called 2 people prior to Mr Lee over the past 2 months but the problem persisted. Mr Lee & his team came early to the rescue, thouroughly inspected the problem & recommended what needed to be replaced. He was professional, patient & honest, hopefully we won't have anymore power outages. I recommend his service & thank you Mr Lee for your work! read more

I contacted him initially to get a quote on a 240v installation. His son replied and we made an appt for him to come out to check out my house. He was prompt and came on time. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go forward with the project but he was very communicative with the plans and he replied back to me promptly. (Something that you know see a lot these days) I definitely recommend him read more

Very professional work. Showed up with mask on and did a tremendous job installing a new 220V outlet. Now I can charge my Tesla faster over night instead of 4-5 days. The house is old so it has only 110V outlets. Very affordable price and he can definitely work with your budget. Thanks again! Would highly recommend! read more

I called SuengLee electric after a power outage that took out several rooms in our house. They were able to come out same day to look into the problem. Although they weren't able to figure out what caused the outage, they spent several hours troubleshooting, and were at least able to get our AC running again, by adding an extra line direct to the main panel. They were able to at least get us back to being comfortable, and I think they went well above what many other electricians would do (I've called several others to try to fix the wiring problem, and most just wanted to charge a fee just to come out and look at the problem) for a very reasonable price. I would hire them again. read more

Absolutely the best. Came in quickly, were super efficient. The quote ended up being a bit low - but that was because we had to re-route entire walls of electric, in a full-house complete rewire with completely new lighting and outlets. They were completely fair with any add-on, any issues, super efficient in their work, and confirmed everything with me as we went. The work done is incredible, you wouldn't recognize the house anymore. I will post pictures once I'm more moved in. They also have AWESOME follow up, always come when they say they will, never missed a day, full of integrity, worked nonstop til they were done. Thanks SuengLEE. I'm so glad I called you guys! read more

Seung was very quick to responding. He also was available to install my Tesla charger the day after I inquired and to top it off, he was very fast and got it done within an hour. The Tesla charger looks great on my wall in my garage. Definitely worth using Seung's services. read more

He came and changed out a couple circuit breaker for a couple outlets that did not work. Took him 2 visits to ensure that they worked properly. They went out again last week. Called him and his translator said they would need $100 for them to come back out. I asked him why since those outlets were the ones I asked for repair. He said I shorted him $50 on the check (which I was unaware of ). We went back and forth about why he did not tell me so i can make it right. They responded back with they changed out the circuit breaker and one outlet. The would have to be paid to come out again to checkout. Told the forget it. Pretty disappointed, trying to give a small business so work and all he did was replace a couple circuit breaker and a couple outlet for close to $600. And, the outlets do not work again. Seemed very money hungry, now will have to find another electrician to do the same job and I am out money. Be careful using these guys. They seem to want to upcharge . read more

Don't mistake Mr. Lee and Peter for a father and son team, these good-looking, knowledgeable, reliable and prompt gentlemen are the Batman and Robin of the electrician world. Huge props to Sueng and his business partner/ translator. The basics were all covered - they gave us a quote, set an appointment, showed up on time, both wore masks, and got the work done. Originally they thought the work would take 1.5 days (installing an EV charger in the garage and installing 2 new outlets in two bathrooms), but they got it done in just under 6 hours.  Installing the new outlets involved cutting a section of wall off in 2 of our bedrooms. They were careful to lay down a carpet protector, assured us they would patch the wall back up (which they did), and had everything cleaned up at the end. There were a few pencil marks left on the wall, but nothing that we can't clean up ourselves. We also got to work out a price that was reasonable to both parties.  Thank you so much Sueng! Now we can finally install bidets :) read more

I had an "open neutral" on one of my plugs and I didn't know how to fix it. They came out and provided a fair and reasonable estimate and were able to diagnose and fix the problem right away. They gave me a "free estimate" of $300 to see whats wrong with my outlet. I verified a second time. So that's $300 per outlet to fix and find out what is wrong with it - again $300 per outlet. I told them it was fine, because I just want it fix. They spend two hours checking different outlets and even went up the attic. In conclusion, they couldn't fix what was wrong with it and didn't charge me nothing. Told me to call different electricians maybe they have better luck. Im disappointed of what happened. However, they were nice people so two stars instead of one. read more

I don't know what to say about SuengLee electric other than "FANTASTIC" SuengLee was the only company who would not charge for estimate. That was a great start for me. The estimate that I was given was very reasonable, and he finished the job on time. I live in a mobile home, which means he had to go underneath the house to fix the electrical issue. I will not be as scared as before if there is an electrical issue in my house in the future. Thank you for your service! read more

Did a great job. Communication was awesome and you were very efficient I recommend them for sure.

I saw all the positive reviews on Yelp and they were local so I called them. They came out to evaluate the job on hand for my outdoor pergola and garage for lights, outlets and a fan all aspects of the job were discussed and we would receive an estimate via email in a couple of days 3 days passed without receiving an estimate and texted them if they had sent the estimate and received a call and text back immediately that they would send it in 2 days but never received it. We went with another electrician obviously but would have been better to have more options in making our descion. read more

Hands down the best electricians in Orange County! I requested a quote via Yelp and they responded that day and came out a few days later to asses our home to install our Tesla wall connector. I requested quotes from 6 other companies in the area and when they provided me with their quote at the home assessment I hired them on the spot. They came back a few days later and completed the job in just a few hours. I could not be happier! Hire them. read more

Absolutely delighted with my experience using SuengLEE Electric. They installed dusk-to-dawn wall sconces (one on each side of my garage) and I couldn't be happier with the result. They arrived on time, performed immaculate work, and cleaned up after themselves. (And they wore masks the entire duration of their visit.) I am so pleased with their work that I'm already considering them for two additional jobs. read more

I initially contacted SuengLee electric for a quote on a light fixture, but we ended up having the team come out when half our house lost power. They were able to come the following morning after an after hour chat. I was anticipating some major electrical work but after a very short diagnostic, they let me know the problem was at the utility company level. Because the diagnostic was short, they gave me a discounted price! The team is both knowledgeable and honest. I know I'll be contacting them again for my future electrical needs. read more

Friendly and professional, Sueng Lee was not the most budget conscious choice, but he was definitely the right one for our project. I had multiple electrical installs ranging from non-compliant exterior flood lights, replacement of GFCI outlets, to adding new indoor electrical outlets, to updating old fixtures in our home. I received 4 different quotes from 4 different companies, Sueng Lee was not the most expensive, nor was he the cheapest. His estimate was in the high middle and I ultimately chose him because he is licensed (look up his contractor license, it is valid, also bonded and insured), he arrived on time, and I received an email quote that very evening. You definitely do not want to mess with unlicensed contractors, especially when it comes to upgrading electrical work for your home. I have heard of many crazy horror stories where unlicensed electricians replaced old fixtures for dirt cheap, ended up short-circuiting other outlets, and was nowhere to be found after receiving payment. If you think hiring a professional is expensive, try hiring an amateur. Do yourself a favor and budget accordingly for high-quality, licensed service professionals. Sueng Lee and his partner Teddy (also his translator) arrived on time, followed Covid safety precautions, wore masks the entire visit (both indoors and out), and bonus points for respectfully removing their shoes upon arriving in my Asian household. I appreciate their friendly and professional nature and will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family in the future. read more

I was on a search for a professional electrician to install a charging unit for my Tesla. I reached out to multiple companies, and SuengLEE responded quickly and gave me a reasonable quote. A few days after they came and installed the unit. They finished quickly and cleanly. I would definitely recommend Sueng for any electron jobs. read more

Amazing amazing amazing. Mr. Lee came with his apprentice/translator and both were very nice, professional, patient, and gave me a quick lesson on power management. A breaker blew out so I got quotes via Yelp, even had a few electricians come out for estimates. No one can beat Mr. Lee. I was a little suspicious but relied on the other great Yelp reviews on him. Its all true. Also, others wanted to charge me thousands to replace the entire panel or create a sub panel but Mr. Lee was honest and said that was not necessary. I just replaced the breaker and saved a bunch of money. read more
