I can't believe how smooth everything went! I was looking for someone to do my panel upgrade and hardwire charger. I contacted about 5 different electricians and ultimately went with ROC for several reasons. Communication was easy and efficient. He gave me great advice and what not to do or to do. I needed a panel upgrade and a new 220v run and box for a spa. I got estimates from three additional electricians and received an education on the different criteria used to estimate a job. Fernando at ROC came out, walked the job, explained what needed to be done and how he would do it. I liked the fact that he explained the job in terms that were easily understandable and, while giving me options, did not push to upsell the job. In addition to the above, Fernando, explained how he would make the new panel look better than the previous one by removing or re-routing all the previous add-ones and making the space around the new panel blend in with the existing structure. TWO THUMBS UP !! I needed to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet for my EV charger. I spoke to Fernando - Roc Electric early morning and he came out the same day for a free estimate. I have a detached garage with no sub panel and my main panel is on the side of the house. Fernando recommended some options for me to consider - either as a new exterior outlet installed to the house -or- as an interior outlet inside the garage by trenching the new line across the patio walkway. It would be great to have the NEMA outlet inside the garage for the convenience, but I didn't want to breakup the concrete to trench a new line even though it's totally doable. I'm just as happy with the exterior outlet on the house and with a NEMA extension cord connecting the EV charger inside the garage it's working out great. Fernando's estimates for both options were very reasonable and he was very accommodating with some adjustments I wanted to make for the project. Both of our schedules worked out for the next day installation and ... VOILA .. I now have a new home charging station ready to go anytime!!
