I'll start out by saying i'm only leaving one star because there is no option to leave it without any. This 'company' is a joke. To summarize; No communication, terrible customer service skills, a nightmare of a PCS From start to finish our move was a disaster, if I had known any better about moving with the military I would have spoken up in the very beginning. Our TSP, Sasha G., had very little knowledge as to what was actually going on with any of our belongings. She nor anyone else at the company was very aware as to who was picking our things up, when, and where it was going. According to her at the time, this was 'normal' because it was 'off season' to PCS and while she had first told us a driver and truck would arrive and load our stuff to leave same day, she soon changed that to different groups of people packing/loading our items into wooden crates (that were not able to hold everything) and off to one of their storage units. Again, not able to tell us what storage facility or where for how long, but to storage because they are unfortunately waiting on the truck driver to come and get it. (They didn't have anyone assigned to actually move us when they took over the contract). 201628OCT I wish I could say our interaction with any of the crew that loaded or packed our things were any better, but it was not. They were rushed, frustrated, and even broke our front door as they shoved our sofa through and did not acknowledge it until I pointed out that I witnessed it happening. There was no apology and very little communication. They did not have any information to leave us with either. Without guidance and this being our first move, unaware of the 'norm', we signed the inventory papers and they left with everything.(Even what items didn't fit, attached with tie downs, uncovered, on top of the crates on their truck). Fast forward to us arriving at our new home in South Carolina 201607NOV, Sasha had fallen off the face of the earth and was no longer returning phone calls or emails. I started reaching out to anyone at the company, as well as resources here at the new base. Before Sasha ever got back to us we received a call from the truck driver himself on the Friday 201611NOV on his personal phone. He was calling to let us know that he had picked up our things, but had another job he was assigned to that needed to be done on Sunday in Florida. Our new ETA was for Monday 201614NOV. Another drawn out weekend of no communication, no basic living essentials with an infant and large dog, but we were excited to finally have a date and know that our belongings had even been picked up in the first place! Monday comes and no one arrives. I call the phone number of the driver and he answered to let me know that unfortunately he was still delayed because the job in Florida was taking a little longer and to expect him the next day (Tuesday) Tuesday;Nothing. It is now Wednesday 201616NOV, the truck finally arrives! Our belongings come off of the truck scattered, not all in boxes as original packing was done, some larger items are wrapped, some are not. While I tried to mark off everything that was coming into our house, it again was rushed. We received several things that our not ours, though they have our inventory colored stickers on them just in numbers that exceeded what our list went to. There was no organization and most of our furniture was damaged. The straw that broke the camels back was the apparent conditions our things were kept either while in the storage or in transit, boxes beat up, some torn, some completely gone and items wrapped up in a pile that got thrown into our new garage. I will post a photo of misc. shoes they brought off the truck, smashed and some missing. While I am grateful we finally received our items, I can only imagine what the claims process is going to be like after reading fellow reviews. All I can say about it for now is that it is 201721JAN, we have only been contacted once since receiving our shipment and submitting our claim, along with photos and details. After responding to that one email I received requesting more photos, we have yet to hear anything moving forward. I will update this review upon resolution. read more

Leaving one star because there is no option to leave any less. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Our items were packed up in New Jersey December 29th, and we were told they would be in Washington state no later than January 17th...so we hurried and drove out to Washington. We called Suddath on the 17th asking what time they would be arriving at our house to drop our items off, only to be told the truck was stuck in Oregon due to poor road conditions and it'll POSSIBLY get there January 27th..10 days later than we were told. I'm sorry, but it does not take 10 days to drive from Oregon to Washington, even in poor road conditions. My husband and I drove NJ to WA in 3.5 days. Frustrated is an understatement. Ps. Customer service is the WORST. read more

Horrible Company & experience!!!!! I am a single mom and an active duty Coast Guard member. This company was used to move my furniture from Arlington, VA to Vancouver, WA (just north of Portland, OR). They did not properly pack and ship my large ticket items resulting in my daughter's dresser, both of my couches and several other items being destroyed. I filed a claim for he damaged goods right away and it has been about 100 days since my claim without resolution. The claim process has been extremely frustrating. Per their contract they are required to compensate me the full replacement value of the damaged furniture. My couches in particular have been a sticking point. When they packed the couches, they removed the cushions and then packed several boxes on top of them including the arm rests. The result is the support beam on the large sofa was broken and the arms are now warped and do not have the cushion to support them. i purchase them both from pottery barn because I finally could afford nice furniture and am nearing retirement from the Clast Guard so my moves should be coming to an end. The initial offer (after waiting 60+ days for it to come) for both couches was $500. I sent in documentation to show how much it would cost to replace the furniture and after waiting an additional 30+ days they raised the offer to $600 for the love seat and $660 for the grand sofa. i cannot purchase one sofa at a discount furniture store for the same quality sofa for the combined offer Of both couches. They have not responded to my complaint and I am likely to wait another 30+ days for a rebuttal to my claim. The truly disappointing part of the whole thing is that it's Thanksgiving and I don't have useable sofas for my family to sit on. This is also likely to go past Christmas without resolution. This company was careless and negligent with the handling of my furniture and are now giving me the run around about honoring thier duty to replace the furniture that was damaged as a result. I do not make a lot of money as an active duty Coast Guard member so I have to choose now to give my family a good Christmas or replace the furniture out of my own pocket so we can spend quality time together In one space. It is disappointing and frustrating that I am in this predicament as a result of their negligence and they don't seem to care. From the abundance of other reviews on here from other military members this also seems to be a pattern with this company and the service it provides military members. read more

Spare yourself the heartache, this place consistently has 1 star for a reason. We had some valuable items (including a computer and Wii) never make it, though I am sure they found a good home in one of their employee's homes. Especially the set of my wife's underwear that disappeared. In addition, we had destroyed and damaged items upon our delivery. The packers took their sweet old time packing and even unpacking the stuff we had already packed up. I understand they have to inventory everything, but c'mon, we washed all our fabrics and clothes and put them in clear vacuum seal bags where they could easily be counted. Besides, you don't need to count everything when your just gonna steal some of it anyway. On the plus side we did get to wash all our clothes, blankets, sheets, towels, and other fabrics twice! The icing on the cake was when they denied my claim! They denied it even though I had acknowledgement in writing from them that they picked up the items and they weren't delivered! I could go into more detail, but I honestly don't want to devote anymore of my life to this awful experience. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company. read more

If your TMO says you can have Suddath for your military move, refuse! I've been in for 17 years and was an Army brat my entire childhood, and this is far and away the absolute worst PCS experience I've ever had. I can't say for sure how much of my stuff is damaged; I'm sure it's pretty banged up because the local company who did the packout was terrible, but my stuff was picked up three weeks ago for a domestic move, and it still hasn't left the point of origin, nor can anyone tell me when they think the company will find a driver. I was informed by my customer service rep at Suddath that I would be given an inconvenience fee and per diem, but they are refusing to pay me the full rate on the GSA website that they linked in the e-mail to me. $151/night is not going to find me a hotel room in Boston in a safe area. When I inquired as to how a moving company couldn't tell one of their drivers to pickup my items, they informed me that they overbooked during the PCS season, and they don't have any drivers going to Boston right now, so they don't know when I'll be able to see my bed again. When I asked why they accepted a contract they knew they couldn't fulfill, well, you know I wasn't going to get a real answer to that. Bottom line: DO NOT USE! read more

I'll start off by saying military move, just like everyone else having horrible experiences. My complaints are similar, so I'll just hit the highlights: Required delivery date 6JUN16 Estimated arrival from rep 20-21JUN16 Actual arrival? 24JUN16 Sounds okay right? Not that bad? My HHG were split into three shipments, only 2/3 arrived on 24JUN, and the local company will only deliver full shipments. I actually have it better than most here, as I had training and leave on the way so I didn't actually arrive my destination in Nevada until 6JUN. Here's where the heartburn starts: I tried to schedule delivery for 6-7JUN, my rep was unresponsive for the week. She didn't actually get in touch with me, I had to call the local delivery agent to try to schedule, and THAT'S when I found out not all my stuff was here. Suddath'a representatives have been uncommunicative, unresponsive, and the performance of this move is the worst in my 15 year career so far. My last box was supposed to be here 8JUN so I could take delivery. Shocker: it's not here and no one at the Florida office will answer their phone or return my call. I will do EVERYTHING in my limited power and ability to ensure this company doesn't get a single military moving contract. Suddath, I am extremely unhappy, and I haven't even received my HHG to notice how they are likely mangled, and go through the lengthy and un satisfying claims process. Don't bother responding; I've already contacted every rep you've posted without a single one answering or returning my call. UNSAT. read more

Absolutely awful customer service. Contracted through the military, my household goods have not left their point of origin a full month after being packed and loaded. I can't get our representative to answer any phone calls, despite a voicemail message that promises a return call "by the end of the business day". Our local company who packed our goods cannot get a return call from Suddath to let them know when they'll be picking up our goods. Bottom line...if your paperwork indicates that Suddath will be moving you, refuse. Wait for another contractor. This is unacceptable and completely ridiculous. My one year old would like her crib back. read more

I'm not sure what was worse, the crew they sent out to pack our household goods or their customer service once I filed a claim for all of the damage to my household goods. Find someone else and failing that, try building a giant slingshot to launch your things across the country. In that case, your stuff will still arrive broken, but at least the slingshot would be fun to use. After reading a number of other reviews, I should add some detail to help clarify my complaints. For starters, it's worth pointing out that mine is another military move. I still haven't received a settlement from the company (8 months later) and they denied my claim on a set of rare books packed improperly and damaged during the move (I was literally told that they are old books and I should expect them to have some wear and tear). In terms of packing, the company arrived with improper materials. I have a large collection of books, a point made explicit by the pre-move inspector (as in, "you have a lot of books so we'll need to make certain that we have a lot of book boxes"). The packers arrived without any book boxes--not a single one. As a result, many of our books were packed into oversized boxes and improperly at that. They also did not have any television boxes for my two flat screen televisions. Instead, they packed the two of them into a motorcycle box. Prior to the move, I called Suddath to complain about the state of the packing in general and the televisions in particular. The representative from the company informed me that "I could just file a claim if anything were broken." It's worth noting that it took me several days of phone calls to even get in contact with someone at the company, which has been a consistent problem throughout this move. The company has made clear that many of their difficulties this past summer were a result of not having enough drivers available. I wish I had been so fortunate. All of my problems have been the result of Suddath having a driver available for my move. read more

We are planning a local move but will not use this mover mainly because after a in-home survey of our household goods, we never received the written estimate. The sales rep, Perry was fine. He quoted one of the lowest hourly rates out 9 movers we talked to. They were actually in our top three based on what he said. But needless to say if they can't follow through on an estimate I would not want to trust them with the actual move. read more

Moving is never easy, being asked to move with two weeks notice is stressful, moving in a hurricane is an unbelievable nightmare. Fortunately, after calling around to three moving companies, I found this company who said YES they could move me quickly. Deb Hicks arrived as my coordinator and quickly gave me an estimate with a smile on her face and diligently helped coordinate the move with their logistics operation...this was no easy task given that while I needed to move quickly I was only going to be available certain days and it was days before a holiday weekend. Good job Deb. I then spoke to Shar-Dey in logistics who helped schedule the pick up that had to be done in one week and coordinated the delivery; an almost impossible task because once they picked me up I had to travel for work not once but twice. Thank you Shar-Dey for all the early morning and late night calls to check on me and update me...very comforting. But the true hero's where the team of three who arrived to pick up my goods. They arrived in Tampa the morning Hurricane Hermine became the first hurricane to make landfall in Florida since Hurricane Wilma in 2005....yeah! Joyce, Michael and Vic...calm, cool and collected, kind, friendly and not one complaint out of their mouths. I was blown away. They managed to move me between torrential downpours taking care to wrap everything carefully. I cannot say enough about Miss Joyce who was grace under pressure. She is to be applauded and if she is your team leader and Vic and Michael are helping trust you will be in good hands. Into Atlanta Harold and Reggie moved me and again the Suddath team expertly handled their 18 wheeler into an apartment community and figured out the logistics to get my goods from the parking deck to my place and kept me calm and said "we got this". Suddath you can count on me always using you for every move I make....great job in hiring people who care and take time to do the job professionally. read more

I am going to give Suddath an updated review. While the situation we experienced was not okay and I wish it hadn't happened in the first place they did everything they could to make it right. We appreciate that, thank you! read more

We had the same issue with this company. After reading everyone else's post, they seem to have had it a bit more rough than me. I wish I didn't have to give them any stars just to leave a comment. Doris Capps was the most feckless move coordinator I've ever dealt with out of all my military moves. The only time Suddath made contact with me was the initial email. No other emails or phone calls unless it was initiated by me and even then it took Doris a few days to return my calls or answer my emails. We had no driver assigned to us on pickup day and she didn't even bother to let us know. I had to call her and ask when the driver was going to contact me. She informed me they didn't schedule a driver and our HHG would be stored at the packing company's warehouse. Having gone through this before during a previous move, I knew they had to crate our HHG shipment because we were in G11 status since we didn't have a driver. I asked her if our shipment was going to be crated and she didn't have an answer. Luckily the contracted packing company, United Affiliated, kept me updated more than Doris from Suddath did. Our stuff was crated and weighed by United and emailed to myself and Suddath on 4 June. A couple days after that, I emailed Doris to find out if a driver was scheduled to pick up our HHG. She finally replied two days later to tell me a driver would be dispatched once our HHG were crated and weighed. I emailed her the paperwork which was sent to the both of us earlier in the week by United Affiliated. I called her and asked for her supervisors contact information and she gave me the name number of the operations dispatcher who was not her supervisor. The only way I found out our shipment was finally picked up by a driver and on its way was from United Affiliated. The shipment finally made it from Altus, OK to Lancaster, CA on 26 June which was way past the RDD. Doris did not inform me at all about being able file an inconvenience claim. I had to bring it up during a conversation between her and I. The only way I found out our shipment had made it was by Lancaster Moving and Storage calling me to let me know our stuff had arrived and they wanted to schedule a delivery date. No updates from Doris at Suddath. Luckily the contracted companies who packed and unpacked us were awesome. The horrible service provided by Suddath and especially Doris Capps will reflect on my post move survey. She is totally inept and should not hold the job of a move coordinator. I hope this company loses its contract with the DoD to move military members. You have the right to refuse this company when scheduling your next military move. Do not use Suddath the next time you PCS! read more

Update 6/25/18: We were finally told that Suddath sub-contracted out to people for the pack and load and then other companies for the move across country. Our contract was dropped by sub-contractors 3 times for the move, so I have no idea how many times my boxes and furniture were moved during that two week process of nothing happening. Finally they were loaded on a truck and started moving towards Washington DC from Colorado. We were finally given tracking information and were told our things would arrive at the warehouse here by June 18th. It is now June 25th and our things are still not at the warehouse. Everyday all we are told is that there are delays and it is peak season. My husband has called Richard Allen from Suddath who everyday says either it'll be here tomorrow or it's delays. I spoke with him today and he seemed shocked that I would be upset about these lies and lack of real information. Now we are being told once again that our things will arrive at the warehouse today, I don't have much faith in that at all. Once they arrive in the warehouse we have to wait yet again for the first available delivery of our goods. I'm now 31 weeks pregnant with twins, so it's incredible hard to move around. Most of my baby things including car seats are with my household goods so I'm starting to panic that my babies will arrive before my furniture and their things! I'm tired of the excuses of delays and hearing that our stuff is being left in a tractor at transfer stations and not being picked up due to time delays. I'm tired of being lied to by Suddath on a daily basis. Suddath has made one expectant mom very angry and all I have right now is time to call every extension I can find until I get my things! 6/15/18: Suddath was assigned to us through the Army. They sub-contracted to a local company for a two day pack and load. The packing day went very smoothly but the loading day was a disaster. Even though we had done a walkthrough with a move coordinator the two men loading our things on a truck were extremely under prepared. They had no idea what we had in the house and no tools to unhook the washer and dryer and move them safely up the stairs. Their loading was slow and they blamed everything on the busy day instead of just getting to work. It took 7 hours for them to load everything and it was not a big house. Now two weeks later we have yet to hear anything from Suddath. We requested a direct move since we already had a place to stay and I was flying directly there. We now have found out that Suddath doesn't even do direct moves! As of last week Suddath has tried to get more sub-contractors for a truck and driver and had our contract dropped 3 times. We have been calling for a week now with no response from either Haley who was assigned to work with us or Madison in customer service. I have no idea where our things are being held or how many times our things have been moved on trucks or in storage facilities. I am 30 weeks pregnant with twins and living in a house with no furniture. I am terrified that my babies will arrive, as twins usually come early, and I will have nothing in the house for them! Not only is it hard to function in a house with nothing normally, add on to that being 30 weeks pregnant and it's miserable. read more

I understand that ALL shipping companies have issues form time to time. However, I have been in the military for over 16 years, moved at least 8 times, and this was, by far, the smoothest yet. My Suddath representative, Zach F., was very responsive and helpful. To my fellow service members, Planning is key on these moves. Get out ahead of your move so that you have the best opportunity of having an equally smooth move. Thanks Suddath! read more

I moved from Los Angeles to San Diego. My company gave me a list of approved movers. I got 3 estimates from the list and chose Suddath because they were middle of the pack, but they were the most thorough on the review before writing an estimate. The review consisted of a video chat of walking through my entire Apartment with the reviewer taking snapshots of all furniture etc. The reviewer told me that they had the technology to get extremely accurate weights for all items. They moved me on 10/3/22. I paid the invoice and sent an expense report to my company. Then I get another invoice on 12/3/22 stating that I still owed $1,500 because the 1st invoice was only an estimate. Seriously $1,500 underestimated??? I believe because they knew I had to get 3 estimates they underestimated to get the business. I will NEVER use or recommend this company again and will be requesting they be taking off the approved vendor list. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars, last week they didn't show up to pick our stuff.....without even giving us a call or heads up, they just simply didn't show up, their excuse was: we don't have a driver..... that's after everything was already packed, so with a house full of boxes and only a few days left we have no choice than renting a truck and move across country ourselves. read more

Military relocation from Whidbey Island, WA to the DC Metro area. Only complaint I have was there was no "eyes-on" visit/weight estimation prior to the driver showing up (the weight estimation was done over the phone; not a huge deal, but it was a minor inconvenience for my wife to have to walk through each room & go over the details). Otherwise, Abdi Ramirez or her counterpart were in contact each step of the move. The driver we had (Andre Orlando) was professional, courteous, & punctual. Everything was packed well. We timed it to arrive at our destination the same day as the driver & our stuff was moved from the truck directly into our house. Nothing was broken or damaged & Suddath followed up after the move. Honestly, I didn't read any of the Yelp comments prior to writing this review, but at least in my experience, it seems like they have fixed the issues other people have mentioned. read more

Utterly disappointed in this company. Completely unsurprised to see so many negative reviews. I, too, am military and this was the agency that was assigned to my case. My HHG were delivers last week and since then I have yet to receive a call back from my agent to arrange for delivery. My husband and I have left multiple messages and even asked the Receptionist to put us through to Supervisors...none of which have returned our calls. When I do get the Government Services switchboard operator on the phone, I beg her to NOT put me through to a machine and ask to speak to a real, live, person. Each time she assures me that she will find a person that I can speak to and when transferred I get nothing but voicemails. I finally contacted the local storage unit myself and they were great...but booked solid for the next two weeks. I asked two weeks ago for a specific date and the Sudduth Agents neglected to take the proactive steps necessary to secure that date. Sudduth failed me. Worse--Sudduth failed my family. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated and will specifically request to NEVER have Sudduth handle my move again. I'm going to continue to call and attempt to get a hold of a living, breathing human being at Sudduth but I have little to no hope of being successful. To my fellow military members: be sure to put as much HHG in your car as possible to survive your move and plan for weeks of frustration. Better yet: refuse to have Sudduth assigned to your case and pick a company that cares about the military. Utterly disappointed. read more

Like several of those who posted before me, this company was chosen for our Military move. We had issues from the get go. Our items were stored in San Diego while we proceeded to our destination. Once we got to our new home we filled out what we needed to do online. Then we waited, and waited, and sent email after email with no response. We questioned them several times why the process hadn't gotten started, why our things hadn't be re weighed, why nothing was scheduled. Same song and dance, they blamed everyone else. Devin Rhoden was supposed to be the one in charge, the one to inform us of what's going on. 20 years of Navy moves we have NEVER dealt with someone so inadequate as she was. She absolutely refused to email back, give us updates, or call us back. Do you know why I got my furniture delivered? Because I spent 3 hours tracking down people because this person wasn't doing HER job. The phone numbers on her emails weren't even to her. I tracked some guy named Matt to find the paperwork to get my stuff. Devin was literally no where to be found. Finally we get our stuff. We're missing a 16 foot ladder and a 10 foot paddle board. Again we call Devin, she said 'Give me an hour and I will call you back'! Yep, you guessed it. That hour came and went. Do you know who found our missing items?? Yep, ME!! I tracked down my stuff back to a warehouse in..... California. We're now in Wisconsin. When I finally found my stuff I had the call the useless Devin back and she said 'Oh I forgot to call you back'. You forgot? Isn't this your job? A job that I have done every step of the damn way. I called the movers, I called to have the paperwork sent that YOU didn't do. I found the missing items. I should be paid and you should be fired for incompetence. Supposedly we should have our items by September 1st. We'll see. I have hope because this Devin isn't handling it. If you have a choice to hire this company- DONT. RUN. You've been warned. If you're Military, I'll say a prayer for ya. read more

After many years in the Military I thought I was done with cut rate smash and grab moving companys, apparently not. I am now a civilian who had to use the DPS system for a move from California to the UK. Most of my items did arrive, just no longer in one piece. We had over $10,000 in damages..! So we filed our long and complete claim through the DPS claim system within two weeks and with receipts for most of the items that were completely DEMOLISHED. (a couch that looks like a bag of bones, a SleepNumber matteress that was folded in half and had a 850lb safe fall on it, A dented Stand-UP compressor?, and most of the items were submerged in water, stained, and then molded over) So after an inspection and another 80 days or so they get back to us. Our "Senior Claims Adjuster" Marcy Pierrain, and "Customer Care and Recovery" agent Danielle Putek, send me an email stating they have reviewed my claim and deemed the Full Replacement Value of my items equals roughly $4,900. They even denied one item entirely because it was listed as "Dressor" and not "Vanity Dressor", as the entire vanity portion was riped off and missing, and its only there staff who are allowed to enter the inventory? There offer dosen't even cover their own estimators repair quote? So I then reply, asking how they came to such a number when I sent actual purchase receipts and proof of damages (e.g. Pictures, drivers statement, Inspections). I also asked if they would be covering my freight shipping costs from the US to the UK for my larger items that they do not sell in the UK and have to be replaced from the USA. My inquiry was meet with this: "This will acknowledge your written rebuttal." no further emails or phone calls would be accepted or replied to until they reach their final decision. 30 days later I receive and email, not from suddath but from the DPS system saying my claim has been processed and suddath has extemded its final offer of, guess what? The same $4,900....!!!! What..! They still won't return my phone calls and DPS gives you 2 options. Take the "Final Offer" from suddath or resubmitt your claim through the federal depreciated value system and you'll hear back in another couple of months. So basically your forced in taking their extremly low "counter-offer" that was the same as the original offer and no one will even talk to you from the suddath company. I will probally try to contact the Better Business Bureau (BBB), or similar federal agency or the DOD funding Rep to try to get this company removed from the DPS moving system. To prevent this from happening to others serving our country and federally abroad. Unless James R. and the Vice President of Client Services, Teela Gleason, or higher contacts me and fixes this, which they would have a whole lot to fix. I really see them losing business from the DOD community. P.S. I am still waiting a my $4,900 check. No word at all if it's even been mailed or how long it may take. -Jon L. read more

This was my worst moving experience ever. I have moved cross country and internationally, but never before have I experienced such unprofessionalism. The "binding" quote they gave me was a lie. I ended up having to pay a lot more. Don't believe what they tell you. They damaged my new furniture, lied about it, rejected my claim, then finally agreed to pay me a small settlement. Suddath and United Van Lines have no communication with each other. After you sign the paperwork with Suddath, United takes over and they don't care what Suddath promised you. I felt like I had been scammed. The people who work here should be ashamed. It's a shady business, and this is a shady company. Zero stars. AVOID this company. read more

I will give this company a zero ratings. The guy that they sent in our house to make a list of all our stuff is a liar . Most of our stuff are all in excellent condition but he write as badly worn ,scratches and faded . My pool table is damage ,my brand new automatic 200 bucks trash can is destroyed . My brand pool table sticks unused they write down as badly worn ,scratch and faded . Bunch of liars! My very nice solid wood cherry dresser is destroyed, shattered in the corner ,but they write it down as badly scratches and faded. Beware of this company, horrible, horrible people to work with . Very unprofessional and bunch of liars ! read more

The worst military move I have ever had compared to moving three other times. Poor communication, they scheduled two packers to pick up our goods in two different days. Then Suddath, Corey Nesbit was our relocation specialist, never contacted us once our household goods arrived. We had already been patiently waiting for 3 weeks, then through looking up the status on our own even though Corey said he would contact us as soon as our goods arrived to schedule a delivery date. Our goods arrive June 27th. Never contacted and it's 3 days later. I had to schedule my goods to be delivered myself. They have no respect to help you get your stuff as soon as you can when you have a family living in an empty house. The worst move by far. Would NOT recommend this company. Would rate a ZERO. One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. The military should really drop their services. read more

By far one of the most unprofessional, unorganized, and damaging moving companies I've had to deal with. This is my 7th military move, and the company damage multiple pieces of our furniture, lost the hardware to reassemble, and then lastly refused to pay for the items. I called multiple times, and they could not locate half of my shipment, which they had picked up the month prior. They're incompetent, slow, untrained, and lack professionalism. I'll move my stuff myself next time before I let these clowns touch it. read more

By far, the worst moving service I've ever worked with. They: - Delivered half of our shipment three weeks late - Lost several items along the way - Missed the original pack date without notice (I had taken off work to receive them) - Had atrocious customer service, not answering phone calls and taking days to weeks to reply to emails Two months after the move, we're still trying to get them to pay for damage they did to the furniture and for the items they lost during shipment. Take your business elsewhere. read more

This is literally the worst company I've dealt with in my life. This was assigned to me during a military move. Why I trusted the military to provide a reliable moving company is beyond me but that's a different subject. Everything seemed fine at first, the local moving company came and took my stuff August 25th. I was told my stuff would be delivered no later than September 5th. September 5th came and I never got a confirmation call or email. I try getting ahold of this company and continue to be transferred to people who are on vacation or people who won't answer my calls. I've called multiple times because I have taken time off work to make sure I'm home for the delivery. Finally after demanding to speak to someone hours later, I am told my furniture did not make it to my destination. But that it is en route. Why? No one knows according to suddath but they will call once they know more. I get in contact with a person I worked with in the military who works in logistics. In all of 5 minutes she is able to tell me there was a delay in my household goods being delivered because there was a problem with the weight and the driver took off without my stuff because it was not weighed??? According to suddath they swear up and down they contacted me letting me know of the delay. I do not have an email or a missed call. However I have an email dated August 30th from the military with the weight of my shipment. Weird how she can tell me that but suddath will not. September 6th. I call again. They say my stuff will be delivered September 6-8th. September 7th. My husband calls, leaves a voicemail. No phone call back. I email and was given "sorry for the delay, will be in touch soon" reply. It is now September 8th. Wondering where the hell my stuff is. I've never felt so uneasy in my life about my property. This is insane. So awful. Do not use this company. You will regret it. UPDATE: after some not so very nice emails I sent trying to get to the bottom of this, I was informed that the people working my move "were under the impression that my furniture had already been picked up and giving me dates of when my stuff should be there" apparently they were lied to...? Furthermore, after some "digging" my household goods remained in Las Vegas up until yesterday because there were some "issues"...that's reassuring. I "should" be getting my stuff a week later than I'm supposed to. We shall see. read more

They will steal your $ and have no ethics. ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Date: Mon, Aug 27, 2018 at 11:32 PM Subject: FW: Fw: "Receipt" for your payment To: Hi , I want to follow up with you regarding two serious issues that we brought up almost three months ago. 1. Not performing what was listed in the moving contract (unpacking service) but still charging the full price without any discussion with me. Because your company failed to find local workers to unpack, I and my wife ended up spending days to unpack. Not having the workers ready within the reasonable time window was not bad enough, your company actually secretly charged me for the unpacking service that was never performed. I requested $550 refund for not delivering the unpacking service but never heard back from your company. 2. When I interviewed a Jacksonville local agent working for Suddath, I was promised that only well-trained movers will come to pack, load and unload. While every step of packing and loading was performed very well, the unloading step was poorly performed. Especially one of the movers was so inexperienced that he damaged my wood floor multiple times. The driver even ended up having to ask him not to come into my house so that he will not damage further. This issue was clearly documented after the completion of unloading and I also informed you of this issue. Although it has been almost three months since my initial report, your company hasn't taken any step to come and repair my damaged floor. read more

Absolutely ridiculously horrible. I am in the same boat as most of the families who have reviewed. Military, moved across the country, been waiting for my shipment for over a month. Every week (when I call them, because they have never called me) I get told my things will be here by the end of the week...then, shocker, no phone call and no HHG. At this point I am almost positive that they don't even know where my items are. If I could give negative stars I absolutely would. Also, the customer service is terrible. Most of the "customer service" reps are grumpy and rude. Please, do not use this company. If the Military gives you an option, go somewhere else. It seems like they know we can't do anything about it, so Suddath takes advantage of it. read more

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. Our move coordinator, Tia was rude at every turn (and that's when we could actually get a hold of her). We're a military family and we're moving from California to Colorado. Packers came from local company. Truck was supposed to load next day. Tia called and said we have no truck and no driver for tomorrow and we're closing in 10 minutes. They blamed it on driver shortage, but she had requested driver and he never confirmed. She didn't start looking til day before. She offered to pay rent and per diem for food. Then offered random driver from LA who didn't have a truck large enough. He'd take to an undisclosed location and store until they could get a truck. We didn't feel comfortable with that. Were waiting for truck. Then a few days later they backed out of contract! Left us stranded with no plan! Also, no pay for meals or hotel, as promised. We've moved for over 20 years with the military and have never been treated like this. read more
