Due to several different things all falling together at the same time my wife and I needed to move with very little notice (like a week). Normally this is something my wife and I would just handle, and maybe recruit some friends...but she was 8 month pregnant at the time and I wouldn't let her pick up anything heavy. So we turned to a moving company. After reading through review for several companies, and excluding ones that weren't available on the upcoming weekend we landed on Jaguar movers, and I'm super happy with our choice. The initial communication with them was very professionally, they gave us all the details we needed, and followed up with any questions we had. On the day of the move both Cory and Waymon showed up a few minutes early, did a walk through of the house, and then got right to work. My wife and I had packed up most of the stuff already but they wrapped up anything that might get damaged in any way. At the new house they were patient while we pointed out where everything went, and were super careful putting things down on the hardwood floors. To top the entire experience off; a very small support piece from an Ikea piece got misplaced in the move and none of use could find it. We looked through the truck and I really feel like Cory and Waymon did a great job looking for it. Even though we couldn't find it, it must have been in the truck somewhere because the next day they drove back to our new house to return it! I can no longer recommend Jaguar moving. I had used them multiple times in prior years going from apartment to apartment, usually taking 4, maybe 5 hours for two guys. I made my hopefully final move into a house and scheduled them for 9am. I called around 9:20 to find out where they were, no one had contacted me. Said there was a personal emergency and it would be 10:30. 11 rolls around, still nothing. I call again because they are not keeping me updated, they finally arrive around 11:30. It took over six and a half hours, constant complaints of how a third guy wasn't sent, they didn't wrap anything other than my tv, and actually broke off some of the brick on my steps at my new place for how rough they were being with my belongings. The movers didn't place protective coverings on any items that were moved, they pulled items across the floors and were not mindful of how to pivot items to ensure they were fitting through doorways properly. I spoke with the manager who said that shouldn't have been the service, yet it was the service we received. I would not seek this place out for any white glove type of service and only would use during simple moves that do not involve items of monetary or sentimental value. ZERO STARS! Horrible experience! Damaged furniture! I was referred to Jaguar Moving by a realtor friend and she is disgusted on how we were treated. The owner admitted that his staff broke policy by not wrapping our furniture. The owner told our friend that he would have to treat us differently since we were a referral but instead, he gave us LESS!!!! As you can tell, we had a horrible experience with Jaguar Moving and as an advocate for entrepreneurship, there is no way that I could not voice my opinion. I can't even begin to tell you how nice and understanding I was with Hank, the owner of Jaguar Moving because I really trusted that he was going to take care of us. He even told my friend, the realtor who referred us that he would do something "extra" for us but the truth is, he did LESS. Trust me when I say, during the multiple conversations I had with Hank, I asked him if he had any idea how connected Jacksonville is and I asked him if he had ever heard of BNI. He would never survive in BNI. When I was a member of BNI, you took stellar care of any referral because you wanted to impress the person who referred the client and you knew that your referral partner was putting their own reputation on the line. Hank and no one at his company ever came out to look at the damaged furniture despite me offering to take them to our storage unit. To be honest, it didn't feel like they even cared that their employee marked "STANDARD INSURANCE" right after he told me that it was too late for me to choose an insurance. Forgery is beyond dishonest. Then, to pay for 125 pounds less at that same rate is beyond dishonest. It is just shitty. So, please know that I gave Hank multiple chances to do the right thing. I actually begged him to do the right thing. I warned him that I would tell everyone that I could about Jaguar Moving and he didn't seem to care. I asked multiple times to come by to speak to him and his other partners and he said no. Life is all about lessons and I truly believe how you do one thing is how you do everything so Hank, I truly feel that your staff are not properly trained and have zero integrity. Damage will happen on occasion and I understood that accidents are inevitable but I expected you to be a good business man and own up to the mistakes. All you had to do is repair our furniture and we would be happy. Of course, a new undamaged piece of furniture would have been the ultimate and to be honest, I would have replaced the furniture if I was the owner. It was the right thing to do. Possibly one of the best move experiences so far was had recently with Jaguar Moving. These guys were very careful with our belonging, wrapping up everything and putting it neatly and gently on the truck. Our last few moves were horrible and lots of things got scratched and broken; but not with Jaguar Moving; they really took care of our belongings. We had a lot more stuff than we thought and it took 2 trips loaded down in their 26 foot truck. The 3 man team was very efficient, but if I had realized that I had so much we would have hired the 2 truck / 4 man team. It took a good 7 hours to get everything moved. Not only were the guys great with our belongings, they were also very courteous to us and took great care of us; they deducted their water breaks they took off the bill and only charged for the time they spent working. I am a return customer of Jaguar Movers. My first time was not without incident, but the team worked with me to make sure we were happy. We were happy enough to choose them again. I was told for returning we would get a discount, I have not yet seen it. One of the support legs to our headboard was snapped. This was something I found myself and reported as broken during the move after it was reassembled by the team. The way it was wedged against the dry wall while broken has created indentations that I will need to repair as well. We filed a claim which was closed within about two weeks with a check for $150 that could only be accepted if this review did not exist. This does not come close to the cost to replace and negates the need for a item SKU that was requested when filing. Please keep your money. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I moved on 6/30. Every single piece of furniture (and I mean every single piece) was damaged and my walls and stairs were also damaged. I promptly submitted a claim and have been ghosted by both Jaguar Moving and the insurance company (I assume it's an internal insurance dept because it's via a gmail account). Not only did Jaguar moving send a truck with a faulty brake that ended up in my neighbor's yard almost hitting their house, damage items, not label boxes, not arrive with boxes to finish their packing job, and provide a tiny amount for my damage claim, they say that by accepting that amount, you will not put reviews online anywhere. So please know that they try to ensure that their only reviews are positive. I actually really liked the team that worked my move, but they were provided a faulty truck, provided no packing supplies despite it being a packing job, and pressured by the company to leave before it was fully finished. All toiletries they packed were just dumped into boxes to leak and break, and all contents of closets were dumped in boxes, including all hanging clothes. Because they arrived with no packing supplies, they used every box that I had (I'd been doing packing myself so over half of the house was done by that day, but we had boxes left over thankfully). The boxes from the garage were labeled, but literally zero other boxes that they packed. Because of using all of my boxes and running out, we were left with 2 FULL SUVs full of random things that couldn't be boxed. They estimated 2 trucks but it took 3, so they had to find one last minute. On unload day, they were late because they were short a person, and ended up only having 3 people for 3 full trucks. It was way later than expected and they were getting pressure to finish, which is why things were left in the garage despite me being willing to keep paying to get them to the right place. The owner offered to send someone out a few days later to move the boxes left in the garage to the proper rooms, but I was so overwhelmed at that point I needed to sort it myself. read more

This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company I have ever even thought about using. Beware, they have an F rating on BBB- I chose this company because they were highly reviewed in what seemed to be quality statements. My apartment flooded and I found out with 4 days notice that me and my family had to move to a new unit. I scheduled my appointment with Jaguar Moving days in advance for 8am on a Thursday. As we approach the day I receive a phone call saying they cannot honor that time as it as just booked up (even though it had been on the calendar for 4 days) they promised me a window of 11a-3p I accepted and my fiancé and I made arrangements so that one of us could be home and take off of work. The morning of our move I noticed that my phone number was incorrect for them to give me a "courtesy call" when they were close by, I called them to advise of this and they changed it for me and said they would be here shortly. As it became closer to 3:00 we started to worry about getting this move done. I called the office and was advised that they were "tied up" on another job and had to extend my window till 5- I was fine with this. 4:30 hits and I receive a call of a guy named Paul saying that he's been trying to call me all day to get over here to do our move and that my phone number was INCORRECT! I advised him that I called and changed it that morning and he didn't seem to care? He told me that his crew was very tired and needed to eat lunch before coming to my move (i understand needing to have lunch) he also said they had a 3 man crew available for me at an additional cost even though my hourly rate was for two people, I was told if I didn't accept this it would be longer because they would have to drop a guy off before heading to me. I advised him we had been waiting 6 hours for arrival and we just wanted to get this done. He said he promised to be here in about 45 minutes. 5:00 hits and he gives me a call again saying one of the movers copped a big attitude with him and needed to be fired and let go so they had to stop at the office on the way to my house. After waited even longer at 5:39 he calls me again to say he was so sorry but the crew is exhausted and they have all backed out of my move and so he had to cancel on me. I was astonished when he canceled because when you promise a customer a time window you meet or EXCEED expectations, my entire home was packed up and ready to go with some stuff already in our new place. That night we had no where to really sleep because everything was packed or wrapped up. I highly recommend you use a different company as no one at this business really cares about you or your move. Once they showed up, they were deliberately slow and clearly milking the time - took these idiots 9+ hours to get us moved (the same move took 3.5 hours 2 years ago), so we ran out of time to get all of our stuff moved. They were incredibly unprofessional; showed up high and chain smoked cigarettes and a j throughout the job; they broke a number of our pieces during the move, and it was like they were intentionally trying to hit walls, light fixtures, and scratch my floors. Im sure I'm going to end up paying my apartment for the damages, and I've already had to refinish my floors and paint my walls since the move. 10/10 Would NOT recommend (unless you hate your stuff and you don't value your money or time. read more

Jaguar moving was recommended by my massage therapist as I was in a car accident 6 weeks prior to moving and injured my back and aggravated it trying to unpack my boxes moved by a different company from a different state that didn't offer unpacking services. At the beginning, I showed them where things was and where I wanted it put. They broke off one to the bedroom another to the office and pantry in the hallway between the office and kitchen. The guy who tackled the office was not listening as after 45 minutes of working, his partner notices that he was putting dried food and spices from my move into the cabinets in the office. I corrected him and he then tried to put it in the guest bedroom closet. I corrected him again and he mentioned that he didn't think the items would fit in the pantry. Well all the food items fit in the pantry. Then came the part of removing the empty boxes. One of the guys tried to say they don't clean up boxes. This was the same guy who made the pantry error. Then, I mentioned I wasn't told that by the company and I can call to ask the main office to get clarification about moving the empty boxes. I mentioned that I'll pay their hourly rate to get rid off the boxes due to my limitations from my back injury. At this time, they agree to take out the empty boxes. However one of the guys appeared to throw a tantrum by stomping on the boxes so loud to break it down. It was disturbing to hear the noise and watch him literally wrestle the empty box. His partner tried to calm him down and gave him a knife to use for the box but he declined. After taking the first set of boxes down, he was no longer aggressive with the box breakdown. Despite giving a tip, they left the boxes in the streets. I called and spoke to John, one of the managers after my condo notified me and sent a picture. He said he was going to call me back after I sent him the picture and never did. I made several attempts to reach them by text and phone calls to no avail. I an very disappointed at the unprofessional service at the end of the job especially the manager who said he would call back and didn't. What a professional company and team. They called me several times as requested to schedule. I had changing dates 3 different times and very flexible. We were moving to storage units nearby. Trey, Josh, Jabari were amazing. Polite and fast. Watching them run from the front yard up stairs to the back of the house, but extra considerate on all carry's out of the house. Don't worry, these guys will also work very hard to ensure all your furniture looks even worse upon arrival. Too lazy to wrap even a $3k white Restoration Hardware bed frame (and yes, we explicitly asked them to), these guys just don't care. They even tried to hide the fact that they split the wooden leg of a $300 RH dining chair by conveniently delivering it at the last second, right before they collected their generous, and undeserved tip. We had a very poor experience. There was extremely poor planning resulting in several extra and unnecessary trips to storage. 90 percent of our stuff was going into storage, a few items weee supposed to go to our new home and a few items supposed to go to our airbnb. This was handled poorly and the disorganization caused us a major headache. Our possessions were often placed in wrong location. Perhaps Jaguar can do smaller moves, but a multistep move in which some our stuff had to go to storage and some to our airbnb was a regrettable and preventable disaster. I also had Jaguar pack for us which should have made the day of moving go smooth. They did that part reasonably well. Overall The move should have taken 8 hours and took 12. I was offered a one hour discount and was reminded that they didn't charge me for the time to go back the next day to retrieve materials that they left behind. First of all, I suggest to everyone that is moving that you purchase moving plastic wrap and do that yourself to your furniture (dressers, end tables, bookshelves, etc.) before you have movers show up. Just makes the process faster plus you know you have your stuff covered to your liking. They will use furniture pads in the truck to keep things safe. Our move from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment was a breeze. Mario and Alfonso were awesome! Very careful and considerate of our wants and needs. The whole experience from setting up the appointment to payment was smooth sailing and they are very reachable to confirm the details. Did an in town move, 5 miles away. Disappointed in service and subsequent responsiveness. Was moving from a 4700 sq ft home. I asked for and was told I would have a full service move - packing, move, and unpacking. On packing day only 2 guys showed up. They worked slowly and it was too much for only 2 guys. Later in the day a third person showed up. But after a full day at an hourly rate not even half the house was packed. The next day 4 guys showed up with 2 more for part of the day. Because they were understaffed and they underestimated the work there were a number of problems. 1. Packing was very disorganized. Things were just thrown into random boxes. A bag of garbage was packed into a box and transported to the new house. A couple boxes that were clearly marked 'garbage' were loaded into a truck and transported to the new house. I ended up packing the entire pantry and half the kitchen myself because there wasn't enough time for the crew to do it themselves. When they packed our wardrobe from the closets the clothes were thrown into a giant box, suits were not hung, but all crumpled at the bottom of a box with other things piled on top. 2. Missing items. Hardware for a peloton bike was lost, as was hardware for a crib and bed. I ultimately found the hardware for the crib and bed back at the original house on the floor. A $400 speaker has also gone "missing." I've been told I will be reimbursed based on the weight, not value of the speaker. I've attempted to communicate with the claims department and they have not responded to my emails. I have left a message for the manager to call me back about the speaker specifically and have not received a call back after 3 days. Apparently the contract I signed indicates that I agreed to the reimbursement by weight, which in retrospect I did. But there was no explanation of the options available. It also seems odd that it wasn't a whole box of things that went missing, but a single portable Sonos speaker. Also, they disassembled lamps to move, but left parts of the lamps necessary to reassemble them at the old house. I had to go back and search for them there. 3. Incomplete services. The movers finished moving things into the new house at 11:30pm on day #2. They did not assist with unpacking as was initially requested. I had to reassemble a bed myself, and the crib myself. I had to reassemble the peloton bike after purchasing the lost hardware. Many boxes were unlabeled and so made unpacking even more difficult as we were opening random boxes that were in random rooms. We wanted certain things to go to a storage unit. Despite clearly indicating/marking what these things were they still moved these to the new house. I subsequently had to move these myself to the storage unit. When I initially called to discuss these issues, they were responsive and did agree that they underestimated the job and made mistakes. I was offered an approximately $350 refund off the nearly $6000 cost to move 5 miles away and a discount on a future move. I feel that if they were better staffed on the first day, the move would have been more organized, efficient, and less costly. Since the initial call, my requests for information regarding follow up on the claim for the missing speaker have gone unanswered. They were unanswered by Logan in the claims department and my calls have not been returned by Bradley either. On the second day, one of the managers came by in the morning to check the progress and basically told the team to put their heads and pack as quickly as possible. The workers were nice and kind and doing the best they could, but had even commented that this move was not appropriately planned for and that this was not the first time. Based on this experience I do not think I will use Jaguar moving again and cannot recommend their services in the future. read more

I was incredibly overwhelmed with having to move and this company made it so easy and took a lot of my stress from me! They responded right away and were up front with pricing and didn't have tons of hidden fees that some companies have. The owner was quick to get me scheduled and very pleasant to work with. Honestly, I've never hired movers before. They far exceeded any sort of expectations and then some. Matthew and Myron were so professional and the hardest workers I've ever met. They were quick to get everything done and so careful with my furniture. I moved from a third floor to another third floor and they handled it like champs! Not to mention, it got muggy and warm by the end of the day. They even put up with a new grumpy neighbor of mine! I'm so thankful that I had them there for my move. You guys are definitely the best.
