Dropped off some suits to be cleaned. I was met with a smile from a woman in the back pressing pants as I walked in, and very quickly attended to by a grandmotherly woman named "Soon". I inquired about the price of cleaning my items, and was given a breakdown. Not the cheapest in town, but I have learned that in most things you get what you pay for, so I brought in my items. 4 jackets and 3 slacks came to 30 bucks, but they'll be done next day (Saturday), so I can't really complain. All in all, the interaction was quick and easy with no frills like some places. They also have a drive through, and the lot isn't that hard to get into if you know how to pull a "u-ee". I'll update this review once I get my items back, but it will most likely stay the same or maybe they'll earn that 5th star, who knows. --Update-- So I picked up the items today and have zero complaints. Everything was clean, intact, and well presented. No missing buttons, weird creases, or missing items. 5 star experience, if you ask me. I will patronize this place again. read more

Dropped off several shirts and a pair of pants for cleaning. When I came back, they told me they lost my pants and simply said I would have to go buy another pair myself. I asked if they were going to reimburse me for losing my clothing, and I was told no. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was extremely unprofessional. Very disappointing customer service and no accountability for lost items. She is a sweet old Lady but people suck sometimes. read more

I have taken all of my drycleaning to Soon Yi for twenty years. She works so long and so much because she cannot hire good employees although she has tried. She is honest and kind and she and her husband have been in this location for years. If she is not in the front, she is working and pressing in the back. I now live in Georgia since my husband died but I miss seeing her and giving her our business. She is a gem. And remember, this is a family business and she had two sons who did not elect to join the business. In over twenty years of interaction with her, there has never been a problem. My father passed away and my son who lives out of town and is in the miltary was here with he passed. My son had to go out of town to get his Dress Blues for the services. When we dropped off his uniform we asked, have you done uniforms before ( considering Jacksonville is a miltary town) they said they had. The funeral was yesterday and when he put it on, it shrunk at least three inches. We had a houseful of people and we know the uniform fit before it went there and because of this, at the last minute he had to find something to wear and he couldnt wear his dress blues to his grandfathers funeral. After over ten years in the miltary and how proud his grandfather was of his miltary service, it was so disheartening that he couldnt wear his uniform. Been trying to get a hold of someone and the phone just rings or gets a busy signal. This needs to be resolved. read more

Took 4 Flat curtain panels to have cleaned. Was told it would be $15.00. Was to pick up on Saturday the 29th of August. Upon arriving I was told they were not ready that she did not have enough time to get to them as she had so much other work to do. I returned to pick up drapes on the following Thursday and she charged us $60.00 . When confronted about the charge she had stated that it would be $15.00 she then said oh no its $15.00 a panel. OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!. Rude obnoxious woman and lied by omission. STAY AWAY form this business. read more

This place is a joke. Came here for the first time on a Friday afternoon and stood around and no one to be found. Waited about 5-10 minutes, circled the building, yelled for help, no one. I could have robbed the place blind and gotten away with it. Finally left ever never seeing an employee. I wouldn't want my items just being left un attended. read more

Great place from the start. Family owned and does a great job and fast. This is Americana as it gets. What I mean is the look and feel they've been there for years and they take pride in there work. I change my mind about the service the service became unfriendly and I was trying to do was to help them out with a yelp review and I was going to do a nice one and they got all kinds of crazy owe me about doing encounter view on it and they were just not friendly you're positive in anyway in that manner. The help in the back doesn't need to speak up when ever he's not being spoken to and he also doesn't need the voice opinions for a business he works for and not owns himself. There's plenty of parking because it's hard to actually get into here because it's right off of Blanding were you have to wait forever to get a greenlight and get past a Blanding street and past all the construction is a nightmare. The main lady doesn't speak English well enough to understand anything other thank just how you want your cloths. The girl in the bag doing pressing she seems nice and cute and should probably be doing most of the customer service but definitely not the guy in the back or the older lady!
