I want to start this review by thanking the sole employee working at this Subway location. I think her name was Yolanda and she was a nice lady. I had placed a pickup order and it was ready when I got there. My sandwich was made perfectly to order just as I had requested. She was extremely busy at the time and made sure each customer request got fulfilled. She made sure to get orders done and thanked everyone for being patient. She definitely needs more help at this location but that is up to management. The subway location was also very clean she absolutely deserves a raise! read more

¡Sin duda volveré! read more

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Pablo at Subway because he is seriously amazing at what he does. Every time I order through the app for my lunch, he always has my sub ready right on time, and it's made perfectly every single time. It honestly makes my busy workdays so much easier knowing I can count on that read more

I usually go to this particular Subway with my client, and today everything went just fine. The service was fine, the order was fine, the sandwiches were fine, until... while waiting for my client to finish eating I was watching the lady behind the counter and she was picking through the food bins like she cleaning up and organizing the food digging into like the lettuce and stuff WITHOUT GLOVES!!!!! She then wiped her face. I had just finished my sandwich. Yuk! I won't go back now due to their hygiene practices. I did call to get a manager to talk to but the guy that said he was the manager was the same guy that was there with her, so I didn't even say anything because he obviously doesn't enforce good hygiene rules and procedures either. And people wonder why they get sick. Not sure if it matters, but you have lost me as a customer and I will tell my friends, word of mouth... The best advertisement! read more

I had the best subway sandwich of my life. Pablo is that guy. Highly recommend! Every bite was full of flavor!!! Please come he

Great people! The service is always quick. A special shoutout to a worker name Pablo for just being a welcoming person and a fast worker.

Our sandwich tasted great! the worker, Pablo, was helpful and kind, and he helped me with my online order, as I forgot to add any extra ingredients to my sandwich. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and made for an all around good dining experience. read more

Love this subway! Come in all the time, never disappointed! Glad they brought the spicy italian back!

This is my second time coming here and I really like it here. The veggies look fresh, the meat doesn't look nasty. (I've been to some Subways where the meat looked like it should have been thrown out) The sandwiches are made with love (not in a hurry all thrown together) their chips were stocked, and the fountain drinks were actually working. This place is clean and the restroom is clean as well. The emoloyees are very nice. I was helped by Monica and Pablo. I would reccomend coming here. read more

It is unfortunate how some business hire unsuitable people to manage their establishment. This place use to be my go to location. Unfortunately, now, and unless Pablo is given better customer service training, is demoted, and has developed the ability to speak and listen actively to resolve issues, while maintaining a professional, positive, and empathetic attitude, I will not be coming here again. Nor will I bring or recommend this location (2790 E Thompson Blvd, Ventura, CA 93003) to anybody. read more

I generally don't visit Subways as I find them to be inconsistent. However, I wanted to leave a review because I had such a great experience with Susan. She made a great sandwich and she was extremely kind and very positive - have to come back soon! read more

This location has gone done hill tremendously. Someday they do not open at 7 AM. It just seems so unprofessional. Some days their lights are barely turned on.. dimmed very low. Speaking of low, today was their all time low. The 1st lady said we only had a choice of 3 breads. White, wheat & Jalapeño. I said white. When she noticed my coupon, she said You cannot choose any of the sandwiches on these menus (with a green background). I chose the roast beef. She then said some cheese were out. I chose pepper jack cheese. The lettuce looked old, so I passed. Then what really ticked me off is that I said Light Mayo. She said No. This is the only Mayo I have. I said ok. The 2 lady's spoke. The other lady was going to make hubby's sandwich. He asked if he could get the BMT. The new lady said, the only exceptions are on the bottom of the coupon. First of all, that print is teeny tiny. Second of all, I could have had a sandwich on the green menu. Whatever! Then when he ordered jalapeño bread, she said No. It is still cooking. We get home. We both took a bite of our sandwiches. After finishing the bite, I said You have got to be kidding. That bread is old. They served us old white bread. Our choices were white or wheat. That's it. Yuck. From now on if we want Subway we will go to the location on the mall or we will choose their competitor. read more

I went to subway today and the lady who attended us her name is Silvia it was pretty busy but no big deal I understand! Once it's my turn she has a horrible attitude and I ask "your alone aren't you" just trying to make small talk and she just goes "yup" with the biggest b!tch face! What the heck? Do better subway and your service Silvia js Horrible. read more

STALE BREAD EVERY TIME. (Main St. location near Vons) I spent almost $10 on a 6"sandwich made with old, stale bread AGAIN. This happens every time I come here. The employees lie and assure me the bread was baked that morning but they must think I'm stupid. The sandwich bread has broken or flaked off in chunks all over me, my clothes, car and everywhere nearby. I'm not stupid Subway. You are LYING to the customers you serve. How dare you. Last time I came here, I pleaded with the woman working there to PLEASE give me fresh bread, any kind. She turned and walked to the back without saying anything and brought back a fresh bun and made my sandwich with that. It was good for the first time. SO THAT PROVED IT. THE FRESH BREAD IS IN THE BACK. THEY ARE SELLING US THE STALE BREAD INSTEAD SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO THROW THE 3 DAY OLD BREAD IN THE GARBAGE where it belongs. The problem is Subway has gone way downhill and they don't have the customers they used to have, so they can't sell enough sandwiches in a day. Instead, they just serve the stale, days old bread so it doesn't go to waste. I hope the health department shows up to inspect this business as things are not right here. I'm done with Subway. I'm not going back. Enough bad sandwiches for a lifetime. I recommend Jersey Mike's or Firehouse Subs. Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious every time. read more

i came here with my mom. the employees have some sort of attitude. apparently asking for extra sauces or ingredients is a big deal because my mom asked for little extra oil and she absolutely drenched it no joke. food was alright still but i would hate to come back here again. read more

I've never had a problem with this location. I LOVE the tuna foot long sub. I wish the subs weren't the price they are, but we always bring a couple and get one foot long for free. The staff nine out of ten times look lifeless, but I don't blame them. They're never rude or anything and do their job. Only once did I have a bad taste, but it was cause an olive somehow got mixed in to the onions I requested and I hate olives. My husband tends to get sick from the meats here. I'm not sure why, but I never get anything but the tuna, so nothing spicy or too heavy. read more

I come here for my lunch break often. They have a good tuna sandwich. I get it with avocado and tomatoes. The line is never that bad although every once in a while it can get busy. Jeesh for 8$ chips and a soda out the door. Ill take it. read more

There are two Hispanic women working this site. I've come here for breakfast sandwich three times. Each time they are both talking Spanish on their cell phones. I get the combo which includes coffee and the coffee is never brewed so my breakfast sandwich is cold by the time I can sit down and enjoy my breakfast with my coffee. I will never come back here. read more

3.4 rating. Came in today after leaving Vons next door. I noticed their monthly special on foot-longs and I needed to eat something before class. Standard subway club sandwich. Like most other locations (especially in Ventura), the amount of meat is fixed and appears very skimpy. So you kind of get what you pay for. Next time I'll opt for the 6" and add meat. Customer Service was good. The sandwich "artist" was very nice and and accommodating to requests. (You think this would be standard, but my overall experience of all subways doesn't usually yield a happy sandwich maker.). And the cashier was very nice and friendly. read more

I am impressed with the way Kat (She gave me permission to use her name in this review) handled a situation at this location. When a customer is upset it does no good to have an attitude toward the upset customer. Kat understands this. She handled an issue respectfully that had a positive outcome. I'm glad to for her REAL customer serve. read more

I love Subway.. But this location is extremely skimpy on their veggies.. There was literally more bread than vegetables, even when I asked for more. I am a vegetarian and have never encountered a Subway that skimps on their toppings as this location does. read more

I work nearby and will eat here if I'm eating fast food. There are two Hispanic ladies that work here that I feel are always in a good mood despite the lunch hour rush. They're both very polite, I never have a problem when it comes to ordering. Prompt and friendly customer service. However, there are two younger ladies that work here that always seem to have a chip on their shoulder. As if asking for a sandwich is below them. read more

Everyone has their go to places, easy, simple and I would say fast but that would all depend on the person in front of you. In the mornings around 7:00 to 7:30 this subway is pretty quiet, so it's easy for me to get in and get an egg-white flat-bread sandwich for my morning nosh or get my afternoon lunch for work, the staff are nice though I wouldn't say we've had any long conversations, however they are always polite and efficient. The shop is clean and I often see them wiping down the counters or mopping the floors. I do feel for these workers though, as they often get vagrants that come in to use the bathroom,(a big problem in the Vons Shopping Center in general) these are not paying customers, they are just using the facilities. I was in the the other evening around 5:30 or 6:00 and the young worker tried to divert a vagrant from using the bathroom as the floor was wet ( accident waiting to happen) and this guy would not listen just went right back and told him to keep an eye on his bike, he acted as if he owned the place, they should definitely have a policy against this happening and I'm sure It's hard to work in a customer service setting, especially if management doesn't have rules set up regarding these matters or if you don't have the courage to enforce them, and while I feel for the homeless the vagrants around the Vons shopping center are not nice, in fact some of them are down right scary. All in all not a bad shop, the workers are nice, and what else can I say, Subway is great when you need a quick lunch fix. read more
