Worst customer service around. They leave your food sitting there as they cater to everyone behind you. They burn the food. Worst one ever.

This just may be the worse McDonalds of them all for attention to detail, service, and quality…read more I've gone to this location since in opened in the 70s and it was once the best. Now? What happened? Is it the generation of kids working these places now?? Perhaps... Today against my better judgment I ordered a simple hot coffee at drive thru. Was handed my medium hot coffee and IMMEDIATELY lnew it was wrong being the cup was ice cold. Yep, kid sold me old coffee not even on a burner. She, like me, is a human being and presumably has nerves in her hands. I got her attention handed it back and said its ice cold old...oh, ill make a pot then. A few weeks back this same location I got two Filet o Fish sandwiches also against better judgment but had nostalgia for how good they once were and was hungry. I got two tiny pieces of flavorless fish on a stale bun, and it was obvious they were cooked in ancient dirty oil. And I paid insane money for what I got along with a soda. I ate one bite of each and chucked them out the window. I'm sure the opossums rejected them as well. All McDonalds, and in particular this one, is in desperate need of a competent manager to lead and teach these kids pride and responsibility. The franchisee should be ashamed of this shit hole, and corporate should re evaluate its mission instead of chasing pennies serving garbage. How much did they make when I won't ever buy anything from there again?? A cliche come true, they F....ed up a cup of coffee.

We had to use the bathroom and it looked like no one cleaned it in day's the trash bin was full of toilet paper and someone's poop... The employees use the same bathroom and I did ask if they saw there bathroom and they just looked at one another and said yeah... So your telling me that you know and not one of you can clean the bathrooms that's disgusting and they also know that the one bathrooms door lock is broken and a teenage girl walked in on my boyfriend peeing and she was in shock just staring at his junk peeing! We didn't even get any food here because they are filthy, disgusting and we don't even know if they even wash their hands...

My book club did a we can get away in Connecticut so we could come here and the service was great…read moreour waiter was so sweet and you could tell they're not used to large parties they don't combine tables but they were so nice about it however the food was pretty good average kind of diner food we did miss breakfast so we were a little sad but we were disappointed in the books collection most of the books that come free aren't even worth it most people didn't take any books with them which kind of defeated the purpose of coming here and they did have books for sale which were better books however we all already have large collections and weren't interested in buying more all in all pretty decent experience and the price is not bad

There weren't too many people there, but it made for a lowkey dinner. The food arrived quickly, and everything we had was actually much better than we were expecting. Cool concept with all of the books lining the dining room, and we appreciated that you could take 3 for free. Also walked around the book cellar too. There weren't really any titles that grabbed us though. My main critique is that it was pretty dusty... we looked at one of the lights and the cobwebs on it made it look like a Halloween decoration. You have to wonder if the dining room is that neglected, how bad is the state of the kitchen? Wouldn't be in a rush to come back, but glad I can say I've been to what's considered such an iconic roadside stop.

Still a top spot in my mind for portion to price ratio. Took home enough food for three days worth…read moreof work lunches tonight. Took babe out here for the first time. She was blown away and stuffed her face like she's never eaten before the food was so good. She absolutely loved the house bread as well as her fettuccine Alfredo. She took a bite of my angel hair pasta and her comment was "they make a good pasta!" I enjoyed my hefty portion of chicken Parm. A couples sat down who's never been there before and asked if I ordered two portions lol cheerfully let them know this was one dinner. We both enjoyed our bartender who has worked there for ten years. We watched her hustle around while enjoying the company around the bar. Well worth the stop and highly recommend getting off route 84 traveling through the area to come.

First visit here today after hearing about how great it was. We were out in CT for a sports event…read moreso we decided to stop for lunch. Starting with the potato skins as an app. They came out completely over cooked and sitting in oil. We couldn't eat them. Strike one. Then we ordered our lunch, sharing a bunch of side dishes, and I also ordered a tossed salad. The meatballs were delicious, the sausage was good. The garlic bread was inedible, sad! Good Italian food needs good Italian bread. This was some kind of focaccia toast with seasoning on it and also over cooked. Strike two. My salad was large and had good amount of veggies. However, the lettuce was translucent and somewhat soggy. It was very weird, I had to google what makes lettuce become translucent, and it sounds like it happens when lettuce gets frozen. Strike three. Our server was very nice, and he apologized for the over cooked app. He also said they have a couple new staff in the kitchen. Not his fault! The 3 stars are for the service.

Finger-licking good--literally. The brisket and pulled pork…read morewere unreal, and the collard greens and mac & cheese were straight comfort food perfection. The brisket was my absolute favorite--so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. When we arrived, the place was full, which honestly had me betting big that the food would live up to the hype--and it absolutely did. Even the other customers were friendly, and the staff was just as welcoming. My fiancé and I shared the two-meat platter, and thank goodness we did--it was more than enough food. We were stuffed and still had leftovers (which I'm very much looking forward to eating again). If we ever pass through this way again, I'll definitely be making him stop here. Can't wait to come back!

Ribs very beefy and excellent. Mac and cheese needed stronger multi cheese blend, maybe a few toasted breadcrumbs on top ? Cucumber salad needed a pinch of sugar to sweeten up the vinegar . Corn bread ok , needs more flavor with real corn mixed in, lose the paper wrappers and bake in pans directly ... or change to a biscuit with honey butter . The owner was working the line first visit and things moving. Second visit : same points mentioned above, but this time smaller quantity of brisket and drier? The ribs smaller and drier ? 2 different food prep guys this time and noticed difference from visit day before? I did try one smoked wing this visit and wing wax excellent smoke tender wing. I think k things improved since the Worcester location closed? It still can be excellent food one time and an average or worse the next visit... inconsistent When the Brisket is on ... it is great stuff When it is off... dry underwhelming... They should make a brisket or burnt end hash as option ... Redbones bbq in Boston used to do a brisket hash that was excellent and unique .

"My grandma she can make a soup With a little a this 'n that…read moreBut with grandma cookin no need to worry! Just a little a this 'n that" (Pete Seeger) My final review of 2022 will describe the worst customer service we encountered all year. We had an errand to run in Sturbridge and figured we'd include a lunch stop in town. The Yelp app brought us to Soup to Nuts. #1) I love soup and #2) it's located inside the Sturbridge Marketplace, so we figured we'd do some shopping and browsing too. When we approached Soup to Nuts we saw a sign that said they opened at 11:00. The front door had another sign that said they opened at 12:00. Since the door was locked, and it was about 11:30, we figured we'd check out the Sturbridge Flea Market and come back. At 12:02 their front door was unlocked, and the sign announcing the 12:00 opening was gone. As we entered the restaurant, we were "greeted" by four words spoken (or more accurately snarled) in a very gruff and rude manner - "we're not open yet". Tone of voice matters, and I will look you straight in the eye and put my hand on a stack of bibles and tell you his tone was beligerant and angry (to the point of aggressive). It was beyond rude. It was shocking. So we turned around, left and never came back. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

I will say that on our first visit we thought the owner was initially a bit gruff as others had mentioned but we quickly realized that's not the case and he is an incredibly gracious host. We've had both the corn chowder and sandwiches here and they are delicious! Keep in mind with some reviews that people are the problem and not the establishment.
