There was also plenty of outdoor seating, which seemed to be dog-friendly. The clerk who rang me up seemed friendly and up-beat. Unfortunately, none of their fall specials appealed to me. The specials were a mushroom Swiss burger (I don't like mushrooms), a pumpkin shake (I'm not a big fan of pumpkin), and fries topped with fried shallots (who wants a huge pile of a fried thing topped with a huge pile of another fried thing?). So, I ended up ordering the avocado tacos, to go. Per the menu description, these are: "Crispy fried avocados served in soft, blue corn tortillas with green cabbage & cilantro slaw, Cotija cheese, salsa verde, red onions, lime & chipotle mayo. 3 tacos per order." The tacos were made correctly, with the lime and red onions packaged on the side. Each taco had exactly one slice of fried avocado, which altogether, added up to slightly less than half of an average-sized avocado. To be fair, the tacos are one of the cheapest things on the menu, but, idk, thirteen dollars for half an avocado still seems a little ridiculous. I felt like they should have been called "cabbage slaw tacos with fried avocado," since they were mostly cabbage slaw. On the bright side, at least, the cabbage slaw was really good. It was as crispy and fresh and clean-tasting as it could possibly be. None of the ingredients showed even the slightest sign of spoilage. The blue corn tortillas were also pretty good, and tasted like they could have been house-made, although the menu didn't state this. The cotija cheese and chipotle mayo were good, but sparce. Personally, I don't like my tacos this dry. If I ordered them again, I would ask for extra sauce on the side. Or... I wondered how these tacos would taste with fresh avocado added. Would the contrast between the fresh and fried avocado be fire? Too bad this didn't occur to me before ordering. Maybe next time. Overall, Gott's is a bit on the pricey side for what you get, and their specials aren't the most innovative, but they do serve reliably high-quality food. Although I'm not always as impressed as I was with my first few burgers in Napa, I still thought it was pretty good. Would definitely eat here again, although I think I'll stick with the burgers next time.

I don't know what gave this jerk the impression I was there for a pickup, but I replied, NO I am here to eat and get a table. He then with the same miserable expression, reluctantly walked me to a single table, I asked for a larger like a boot and he replied in a rude tone " No, we need those for a larger crowd". That was not accurate as I saw two others sitting alone at a booth. He then threw the menu on the table and walked off. If I wasn't so tired, exhausted, and hungry, I would have walked out and said something to the manager about this jerk on my way out, but I decided to stay. The server came and even he had a weird attitude; I just ordered the food and it came pretty quickly. The Clam chowder soup was just amazing; so was the Salmon sandwich and the house salad was just more amazing. I travel around the country, I eat at many restaurants, and rarely I felt the entire three-course meal to be this good and it was a home run on everything I eat. This was the best meal of my arrival trip that night. On my way out I went to the other female hostess and I asked if I could speak to her in private. She was nice and polite and I told her about this other rude host and how I was treated by him. I saw him looking at me from behind the bar with two other waiters. The hostess assured me she would address the issue with management about him. As I was leaving, this jerk continued looking at me with a smirk on his face, and I then said "You should really work on how you speak to people". He then started laughing and made some comment that I didn't hear and all I heard was loud laughter from all 3 of the like the 3 stooges. I had no issue with the other two staff, and I didn't understand why they felt it was ok to laugh at a paying customer. It ugly after that, and I did address it with one of the owners the next day on the phone about what happened. I even went back the second night in a row, only because of the food, and I was assured that that host won't be there. In the end, the food is what wins; this place has amazing gourmet food, and regardless of the poor service, I still think its one of the best restaurants I have eat at. When we arrived, we were suddenly told that the outdoor tables were "not wheelchair accessible," despite the fact that I had specifically reserved an outdoor table. As I write this review, an outdoor table for four has remained empty directly in front of us for the entire time. We were still refused that table. When I questioned why our reservation could not be honored, the manager, Adriana, responded, "Go ahead and give us a bad review." I found that response dismissive, unprofessional, and completely lacking in empathy. My family and I are Brown, and the way we were treated left me with serious concerns that we were not treated the same as other guests. I cannot know the reason with certainty, but the combination of refusing to honor our outdoor reservation, claiming the outdoor tables were suddenly "not wheelchair accessible," leaving an outdoor table vacant throughout our visit, and the manager's response left me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I hope Pacific Catch reviews the reservation records, available security footage, and the actions of its staff so that no other family has a similar experience. This place is BOUJEEEEE!" (A term I picked up from my millennial coworker, meaning "luxurious in lifestyle.") A tall, dark, intimidating man stood watch at the door, not even greeting us. Maybe we didn't look like we belonged in such an upscale place. Undeterred, we explored each showroom before making our way up the grand staircase to the restaurant. Wow, wow, wow! Crystal chandeliers sparkled overhead, and a majestic fountain with a Roman centerpiece stood in the middle of the dining room. Lush plants and trees hung everywhere, giving the space an atmosphere that matched the showrooms--stylish, elegant, and sophisticated. We received both the all-day and brunch menus. Since my partner loves oysters (and it was his birthday celebration), we started with a dozen. They were plump, smooth, and silky--like a kiss from the ocean. Craving something different, I also ordered the Hamachi Caviar Carpaccio. It was delicate, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sweet potato fries struck the perfect balance of sweet and salty. The girls sipped hot chocolate adorned with cute designs; my partner's cortado featured a stylish RH motif, and my chai latte was dusted with cinnamon. Stuffed as I was, I still wanted us to sing happy birthday, so I ordered a crème brûlée for the occasion (they put the candle on the side). Breaking through the thin, glassy top was satisfying, and the silky, ultra-creamy custard beneath was absolutely divine.
