The lady this morning on June 11, 2026 at 9:03 am. Me and my classmates came in for something to eat. And the lady working told all 5 of us that they don't open till 9:50am. We all know this is a lie because it opens at 9:00am on the dot every time. She had no sense of urgency and was happy to lie cause she didn't want to work. Yall are lucky I can't leave a zero. Reality is. The service is disgusting if you have to lie to some nursing students about when you open. Just say you're lazy or opened up late. Subway on Paradise in Modesto need to be shut tf down...they are rude af and nasty as hell. I went in to get a sandwich today and first of all the lady was hella rude which I let slide...same attitude she gave me i gave back, so a guy comes over to make my sandwich which his ass wasn't no damn better. I ask him for fresh lettuce because the lettuce on the line was old and brown...looked slimy, he says this is all we got so i said i didn't want it...his ass proceeds to put it on my sandwich anyway, I yelled I said no lettuce that's old...he mixed it up with his hands and uses it on the next sandwich. To be honest, I never really have an issue with Subway. Ordered footlong Ham and 6" steak and cheese at this location. The Ham was what I would expect. The steak and cheese felt like a Krispy Kreme donut, very light. Hardly and meat and virtually no produce. Basically I got the sandwich for my son and he ate air and bread for lunch. Zero stars if I could. I Ordered a sandwich with additional toppings at $2 each. I Got the order came home to missing topping that i paid extra for. I called down and told them about these missing Items. They wanted me to come back to pick up the toppings. They didn't want to make the sandwich correctly. I asked them to re make it they said yes... started driving down that way and I get a call back saying they cannot re make the sandwich. So i went in and the first thing the lady asked was "are you getting sandwiches today?" (Middle eastern girl) not even "hi" so I only wanted soup, but I change my mind and when i asked her for two footlongs she rolled her eyes to me (I was like "really? Please let me talk to your manager" but I didn't say anything) and I clearly asked for extra olives and extra onions on one of my sandwiches but she did my sandwiches her way, We couldn't eat them. Worst subway I've ever been too and Subway is my all time favorite place to go. Got my usual teriyaki chicken wrap and paid $15 to get half the amount of ingredients that I normally get. Basically had to beg for extra spinach just to try and fill it up and it's still barely the size of my hand. Absolutely terrible portioning. If you're going to charge like crazy, make sure you're giving what I'm supposed to be getting. I saw it was privately owned, thinking they need to sell back to the company so it can actually be ran correctly. I was the only customer inside and somehow still took way too long. Guy making my wrap literally moved all of 4 jalapeños around instead of adding more. Talk about depressing. read more

I use doordash more than I'd like to admit, and I've always been hesitant about ordering subway cause you want your sandwich specific and delicious. I finally bit the bullet and ordered through doordash from this location. BIG MISTAKE!! I have literally never had a worse sandwich. Not only did my sandwich not come with cheese, which I did order, it was so cold I had to put on a sweatshirt to eat it, even though I had ordered it toasted. All I got on my sandwich was meat and lettuce and yet somehow it's completely fallen apart. I had to eat my sandwich...ugh...with a fork! WHO EATS A SANDWICH LIKE THAT?! I would get it if I had ordered hella veggies and extra meat and what not, but I got the normal amount of meat with just lettuce. What the hell is going on? This is by far the worst sandwich I've ever had. And if this is how you treat your doordash orders, I can only imagine how you treat in shop customers. This location needs an overhaul. Customer since it opened. I go there 2-3 times a week. Young girl as a manager. Told me that she could not put extra onions. The sandwich. I told her you don't have any signs posted for extra onions. And please don't disrepect me. All behind one of her workers messed my sandwich up previously. So I guess she tried to be messy about it. So I went there yesterday 6/5. The young gay dude? told me the same. I told him to charge me for it. So guess what? The don't even have a button on the register for onions. Just cheese. So at first he tried to charge 60 cents. I argued that. So I was charged 30 cents. I am not pleased with this. I know that don't charge anybody else. I sent a message to subway corp. Waiting on a response. PLus I'm going to report to BBB. its pretty new store, surprised how large the store is compared to most here in modesto. Friendly workers so kind of helps out since not on a very good side of modesto.
