Sent an email to the customer service and the manager or someone reached back out, and offered a free meatball sub. Very kind of them.

Another supper club in the bag! And of course I've chose another great restaurant. I was trying to…read morechoose a restaurant that we had not had and we had not had Greek and I've been wanting to try some Greek food have some Lamb and this did it. The rotating pictures that were on the screen were all of grease and it really transported you to Greece. One of the people that I was with said certain smells just brought back so many fond memories of her time in Greece as a teenager The music was so pleasant. The conversation was good. It wasn't loud we could hold a conversation. I really appreciate it the mood and style of the restaurant now let's get to the food. The food was amazing. The lamb was cooked perfectly. Everyone seem to enjoy the Lamberger the lamb chops. I enjoyed my Lamb and the other person enjoyed her chicken so it was a win all the way around we were so full at the end of the meal we shared the crème brûlée, which was very good as well so we walked away very satisfied very full and thank you Ziziki's for the fantastic service that you offer us so pleasant so kind we thank you.

Knowing Costa Arabatzis from the early 1990s and his early days on Lower Greenville and its various iterations to the beautiful large Ziziki's on Knox/Henderson and most recently Preston Forest. I'm always happy to visit. The classic Greek Platter (Spanakopita, pastichio, chicken or lamb souvlaki) $40 had a good portion of a dry, lamb souvlaki and a very small portion of spanakopita and pastichio. The pastichio was delicious. A platter that used to be shareable is barely for one. The vibe is casual but romantic. What you would expected for a restaurant in this neighborhood. The lights are dim so bring a date. The little bar could be fun for drink before heading out for the night and there's a small patio. The service was swift and they offered a Greek wine option based on my tastes. It's was good and I would order a glass again. Maybe for me it's the nostalgia that keeps me coming back but with other Greek options I find my visits fewer and farther between.

We dined here on a Saturday evening and it was a good meal, but there are a few things holding the…read moreexperience back from a five-star rating. I had booked a reservation on Resy and we were seated immediately in a small, intimate booth. Initially, it was not terribly loud, but as the evening progressed and several large parties were seated nearby; the sound of the music was completely drowned out. I think more noise abatement measures could be taken to absorb some of the obtrusive loudness we were getting. For a starter, we ordered the Calamari. It was fried perfectly and was great, but the Thai Sticky sauce was too sweet and the consistency of the sauce was thin. It needed something to make it more viscous, and a secondary sauce, like a marinara or even an aioli would've been nice to balance out the sweetness of the Thai sauce. For an entree, I ordered the Maple- Ginger Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and itself was delicious, but the sauce was too sweet and rich. The fired rice that accompanied my meal was over-the-top salty. It was almost going into "too much" territory. For desert we split the Passion Fruit Ice Cream Pie. This was actually very good and not overly sweet. It was my favorite item from my meal. Overall Renny's truly employs a lot of care and attention to the food, but some of the items crossed a line into "too much" territory. Be it sweetness or saltiness, the kitchen could exercise a bit of restraint to let the flavors of the food shine.

No regular ice tea, only flavored. Disappointed in the Hot Lopez (spicy/sweet fried chicken sandwich). It was a little spicy but way too sweet. The fried chicken was tough and seemed like more breading than chicken. The skinny fries tasted stale. My friend liked his fish tacos, which looked awesome.

The young lady who worked the front had a blank look on her face with no smile, like she didn't want to be there. I ordered a combo, but she didn't indicate what size drink I got so I just grabbed a regular-sized cup. After I got my drink I came back to the front counter and she had just laid the sandwich at the front without giving me notice that it was ready. If somebody else had come in they could have grabbed it. I was working on a writing project on my computer, but the atmosphere at the restaurant made this a considerable challenge. Loud R&B/rap music was playing during my time there, and some of it was laced with f-bombs and the n-word. I'm all for having (there goes another n-word on the in-house stereo system) music while working, but the volume needed to be cut in half at least and the profanity needs to be cut out completely before more customers complain. As for the disinterested young lady who doesn't appear to be enjoying her job, you better act like you care and turn the music down a little or you won't have a job in the near future.
