The Subway across from the park in Chewelah is great. The food is excellent and the girls working there are really nice. It's not often I write reviews on fast food chains. I'd had many a less-than-favorable opinion of Subways but, I have to say, THIS particular location rises high above the rest. There aren't many choices for lunch in the small towns we live near so finding this Subway was our best available option. However, between the service we received and the quality of our sandwiches ... I can see my faith in the chain being restored (at the very least being a loyal customer at this location). I ordered the turkey club on jalapeño-cheese bread, toasted, with the chipotle southwest dressing. It was outstanding! The sliced turkey was cut thicker (like they've brought back their "carved turkey" option). The bread was the freshest I've ever had from any of their stores, with just the right amount of "heat" from the jalapeños and chipotle mayo. Again, though, what sets this Subway apart from all the others I've been to, is the exemplary service. These folks displayed the utmost courtesy and professionalism I was not expecting. Very fine work teamwork and performance. I look forward to coming back. read more

The sandwich was good, but service was the worst. Old man in the back had a stick up his arse. We asked for a meal and he had a mental break about cookies that don't come with a meal or something like that. Then rudely asked me to move my parked vehicle with a trailer ( which was already parked in the back out of the way allowing 4 cars to park behind me and 6 cars could still park in the front). no one else was in the store and no one else came in. Then as I made a remark of "I'm glad I moved my vehicle for people to park" as I walked out the store. the grumpy fat old guy and the tattooed up 30 year old yelled at us as we were walking away to never come back. REALLY? For just saying "I'm glad I moved my vehicle for people to park". Worst attitude of any restaurant with little pecker syndrome. If you want to stay in business you listen to your customers and treat them with respect. It would have been different if 1. He asked politely (he I understand you are eating here; could you move over there for the non existent customers to come in". But instead while discussing if we wanted a meal and cookies; he interrupts and says"you're eating here?!? Then go move your truck". Failed to make a sandwich a meal and then fought with us about cookies and a meal. Once again, the worst attitude an employee could have with little pecker syndrome. read more

Well don't try and order from this location using the mobile app. You will get charged but the Oder won't go through and the store won't honor your order. We ordered food, wife went to pickup, they said it didn't go through and that they couldn't do anything about it and was extremely rude about it. Why have an app if it doesn't connect to the location you are ordering from. The app clearly stated that they were a supported location! Very disappointed in this experience! Wife left and went to the grocery store to get stuff to make our own subs! They were 10x better than subway anyways! Was just going there out of convenience! Subway lost another customer today! I go through Chewelah weekly from May to October. Last year I would eat at subway at least once a week sometimes two . It was the best subway around. On Sunday 5/16/21 at 5:13 pm my wife was with me so I order 2 sandwiches. Both spicy Italian the wife had it with meet cheese olives vinegar and oil. I Ask for lots of olives it had 19 slices on it and just a few drops of vinegar and oil. I had normal stuff on mine asked for lots of jalapeños I got six And a few drops of oil and vinegar. Both of the breads we choose were flat maybe an 1 1/4 inches high. These were by far the worst sandwiches I have ever gotten at a subway. I don't know if it changed hands or what. It was sure a disappointment for almost $19.00. I will try it one more time but if it is like this time I won't be back and will tell all the other people I work with how bad it was read more

Old lady mangled my veggies. Ripped everything up before putting them on my sandwich. I'm honestly surprised she didn't rip up my tomatoes as well. Asked for it toasted but instead just got slightly warm bread. Took way longer than it should have and didn't even cut my sandwich in half. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Went in to get a salad today and noticed that some of the lettuce was brown. I asked the young guy if I could get some fresh lettuce. He finished what he was doing, took off his gloves, and went in the back. He came out empty handed and I said, so you're not bringing out any fresh lettuce. He replied no and he asked if I still wanted a salad. I replied no and left. When I got to my car I called to speak to the manager not knowing that HE was the manager. To be sure I said, "are you the person who refused to get the lettuce." He says yes and then proceeds to tell me he is going to refuse service to me and to never come in there again. I have zero tolerance for some person trying to flaunt some imaginary power over me. I immediately responded with F U you f ing a hole. As a 65+ y.o. Woman who served in the military for 10 years and has PTSD, I have no problem accepting responsibility for reacting and saying those words. It just is really pathetic that this happened over wanting fresh lettuce. FYI, I like a lot of lettuce and double meat a few green peppers, and a few cucumbers. I just didn't feel like paying for lettuce that didn't look fresh. read more

Subway and the Mexican restaurant oh & the Flowery trail mini are the only places for a vegan, vegetarian to eat, but when they are addicting & taste "out of this world, you have got to go!!!!! We have a change! Plus they carry extra items for sale at times!! Just LUV them as a vegan!! read more

For the second time we waited in line in the drive-up for over 7 minutes BEFORE closing along with 2 other cars and got the "ax cut off" by the person hanging out the pick-up window. Not a very good business position! We will NOT go back ever again! read more
