    Very English Pub like setting.

We got to try another (literally) "hidden gem" of the PNW. If you don't know it's there, you'll drive right past it on US 395. It's a couple blocks off the highway in the town. But, it's absolutely worth the diversion. The Addy Inn looks very much that, from the outside and INside - very cozy, dark, pub-like when you walk in. But, they have a rather spacious dining area AND even tables outside in a quaint garden setting. We were given a choice of the breakfast or lunch menu. We looked at each. I ordered the "Turkey Crunch" sandwich and fries. The sandwich is basically a turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich ... BUT, it's made with garlic bread! Yeah, it was pretty awesome - albeit a little small of a sandwich. The mountain of piping hot and delicious fries makes up for it, though. The pancakes and eggs my bride ordered looked amazing; large pancakes with two perfectly-cooked eggs and bacon. She always orders what I should've ordered. Ain't that the way??? Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are very good. It's nice that the Addy Inn is (somewhat) close to us. We look forward to coming back often.

    1 pound Addy Burger

I ordered the 1 pound Addy Burger on a local's recommendation. It really is four times the size of a quarter-pounder. That is a lot of local beef. The taste lives up to the size. It comes with amazing fried mushrooms and onion rings. I would recommend this as a meal for two. (Note: My photo does not do it justice as my hand is closer to the camera.)

Yes.  Pretty wife, and a beaufully unique building...

The Wooden Spoon Bistro - Minestrone & Honey Nut Latte

It has a great theme with the wooden spoons everywhere, cool old tin panels in the ceiling as well as the burlap bags. You order at the counter, pay and get your numbered wooden spoons which you place in a glass milk carton at the table you choose while awaiting your food. There is plenty of brick inside the restaurant which is always something I like. The woman who took or order said that the owner had bought the place behind them and they were blowing out the wall in between the two establishments so the kitchen can service two places. Sounds good right? The problem we had was that the breakfasts we got were not hot, I mean barely warm. My sunny up eggs were barely done, still alot of clear in the whites. My two halves of toast were put together, butter to butter. The second pieces together for my entire meal I was going to put marmalade on after I had finished all but them. The butter had not even melted into the toast, it was still whole butter. Everything tasted quite good, but it has to be hot. We would certainly return, but it fell just short of the mark. Too bad!

He got the Tiger Spiced Chai, and I got the Honey Nut Latte. I will say my latte could have used a bit more flavor - it was a little bitter, but that could just be their bean blend. It was still pretty good though. Prices were also good! The atmosphere is very nice with the blend of rustic touch and modern features. Loved all the spoon decor.

The young lady server (AT), was absolutely the worst we've experienced in a long time. She actually served a chicken sandwich that was very burnt... she should have refused it from the kitchen... it was like trying to eat the driest burnt jerky you can find. She said no problem I'll get it replaced with a good one... she brought a new fried chicken patty that wasn't as burnt, but still very dry. $16 for a chicken sandwich! ... we could've gotten a tastier one at a gas station ... and it would've been less expensive. Ordered a sandwich... which had the choice of fries, potato salad (she said they were out of potato salad), onion rings, and a few other sides... she added a charge on our ticket for the onion rings?! She asked me if I wanted more water after I finished eating my food... other than being way late with the gesture... I joyfully said, "Yes, I'd love some more water!" ... she responded with, "Okay, I'll be right back with some water!" ... yet, the water was never delivered... in fact, she never again showed up to our table... not even with a ticket. So, we went to the front counter to pay... and a young man server said, she'll be right here to get your payment... 5+ minutes later she comes wandering in and takes the card, and hands back the card with a single copy of the receipt, and walks off saying thanks. So we signed the bottom with zero tip... and she didn't seem to be returning, so, we tore the signature area from the bottom of the receipt, and left with the receipt in hand. Just knowing that such a person is allowed to serve food at the Rusty Putter, is good enough reason to never return there again... or, until she no longer works there.

Good food, salads are great, but expensive. Service is wonderful and it's wonderful to reconnect…read morewith the locals.

I don't say this lightly: this might be **the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had in my life**…read more From the moment it came out, you could smell the sizzling steak and melted cheese before even taking the first bite. The bread was perfectly toasted on the outside but still soft and pillowy inside, holding everything together without falling apart. The steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, chopped just right so every bite had the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and bread. And the cheese... perfectly melted into the steak so it coated every bite instead of just sitting on top. That first bite was one of those moments where you pause for a second because it's just *that good*. By the halfway point I was already thinking about when I could come back for another one. I love "Mom" who is always friendly and fun to talk to while waiting. Please keep in mind each sandwich is made to order so please anticipate a little wait BUT WORTH EVERY minute of it. If you're a Philly cheesesteak fan, this place is absolutely worth the trip. Bold statement, but this sandwich sets the bar.

Of course, he went with the classic cheese steak to see what their original was like before delving into the other specialty ones they offer. I ordered the Dirty Hippie, which has no meat--double portions of both mushrooms and grilled onions, jalapenos, cheddar cheese and ranch on a fresh baked roll. For my sweet tooth, I also got a "Pop's brownie." The Dirty Hippie to me tasted pretty much like a cheese steak, but with no meat. So, they did do a good job of mimicking a real cheese steak. It was super hot, cheese was melted, and definitely noticed the double portion of veggies. The grilled onions had a good taste, however, they were really long and stringy, which reminded me of string spaghetti lol. Sandwich can get a little messy, prepare yourself with some napkins, and don't let it sit or it'll get soggy from the juices. My roommate thought his cheese steak was average, not bad but not the best he's ever had either. Pop's brownie was chocolatey and moist and a great way to end a flavorful lunch. The shack is located in a convenient spot and the lot has ample parking. Service was great. The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days! I'm a cash-type of person anyway, but bring cash if you don't want to be charged $1 to use your card.

I could have had a banana milkshake but they use syrup and not fresh banana and that's just not my thing. My traveling partners had vanilla, mocha, and peach (using canned peaches) flavors and after taking a taste of them all I can easily say that this place knows how to make a great shake! Price was $4.00 for a small, which is more than reasonable. I wasn't even able to look at the wall and a half of salt and pepper shakers before my shake came out. Very fast service. Make sure you take a few moments to appreciate the collection, it is truly unique. However, it was the crop circle newspaper clippings and the city award that hangs on the wall thanking the aliens. A fun picture opportunity! The inside dining room is very small but there is a clean, spacious, outdoor seating under a gazebo. If I travel through here again I will definitely get a famous burger. It was too early for me to give that a shot but everywhere I read (and a first hand account from my mom) people say that these burgers are to die for. I'm making mental note to pass back through.
