Tucked in the small town of Springdale sits this place right on the corner ... so the name is rather fitting. BUT, don't let the small town vibe, nor the size of the restaurant fool you. Corner table offers great food in abundance! The interior is just as simple as the outside. There's a "country cafe" motif going on - both bright and inviting. Service is friendly and prompt. We were shown a table and offered drinks immediately after we were seated. I ordered their chicken fried steak. Now, as a lifelong Texan, I've had many a CFS in all degrees of flavor and quality. Corner Table makes theirs using a NY Strip!! How can that be bad?!? I ordered it with their "onion petals" and yellow squash casserole. The CFS was outstanding! It was tender with a crispy coating and seasoned perfectly. The cream gravy was ... okay, but it didn't distract from that excellent, breaded steak. The fried onion was every bit as tasty as the best onion rings out there. And the casserole was equally good. My bride ordered their grilled chicken with fries and the yellow squash casserole. The chicken breast was tender and flavorful; fries crispy and, again, that great squash casserole. We opted to bring home a couple of their decadent looking desserts - a chocolate cake with butterscotch mousse, and a lemon cake with strawberries. I have every confidence they're going to be sinfully good. Again service was excellent and prices are quite reasonable. Corner Table may be a little bit of a drive for us, but their food will bring us back again soon ... and often.

So this is a nicely remodeled restaurant.. We went for lunch with 3 adults and 3 kids. My granddaughter who is 5 wanted a Italian Soda but apparently they don't give this to kids because they might spill.... they reconsidered after my urging that she is most likely to spill less me. They definitely have regulars which is great. I didn't love my menu choice but it was good.. please give this place your business.

West Plains Brewing is one of these and am glad that I became aware of it. The lady that was at the counter was super nice and very congenial to visit with so that was very nice. I was having a difficult time trying to decide out of their beer options as to what to have so I went with a taster set and that was a good choice to have made. I tried four different beers from that taster set and I liked them all very much! One of the beers was the Cerveza Fria which was the brewery's Mexican Lager. It was pleasant and refreshing with a slight biscuity flavor and a crispness to it that is perfect to refresh yourself with on warm days. Another beer I had was the Allegiance which was an Amber beer. It was biscuity also and went down easy where it would be very easy to get more of this beer in one sitting. The third beer I had was the Muddy Boots. I liked the maltiness in this beer. While the beer is rich to drink it also comes across as light bodied which gives it an overall nice balance. The fourth and final beer I had was an Oatmeal Stout by the name of Broken Paddle. I do like Oatmeal Stouts and this one was no exception. The flavors you can enjoy in this one are chocolate, coffee and roasty in the beer. The beer is smooth but also comes across as light bodied which you occasionally see in some stouts. A very nice visit to this brewery and worthy of returns whenever I am back in the area.

It's very affordable, yet the food feels incredibly elegant and thoughtfully crafted. I honestly wasn't expecting how elevated and beautifully prepared everything was. We ordered the buffalo mac & cheese, turkey huckleberry sandwich, chips, crab cakes, and fish & chips--and every single dish was delicious. You can truly tell the food is scratch-made and prepared with care. The cakes and desserts were outstanding as well--fresh, rich, and full of flavor. All of the sweets tasted truly homemade. The service was amazing, and the interior is cozy, beautiful, and welcoming. It's the perfect spot for an afternoon or late lunch with friends. Gathered is great for couples, small gatherings, and larger parties--they really have a space for everyone. What I also loved is that Gathered is connected to The Purple Onion Catering and Stacie's Cakes, which explains the incredible quality of the food and desserts. They specialize in everything from tiered wedding cakes and birthday cupcakes to plated prime rib dinners and festive taco bars. Their passion truly shows in every detail, and they make hosting events stress-free while delivering top-quality taste at an affordable price. This family-owned and operated business provides such warm, welcoming service, whether you're stopping in for lunch or planning a special event. If you're looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, or catering for a memorable event, this is absolutely a place you don't want to miss. Highly recommend!

The texture and look are spot-on; they absolutely nailed the recipe. The portion sizes are wild. Even the side salad filled the entire plate once I dumped it out of the bowl No sweet potato fries, unfortunately, but the salad was so good I wouldn't even bother ordering a different side. I noticed several tables getting the chicken Cobb salad, and that thing is massive. This place reminds me of Cascadia and Rut, and it's great to see more vegan-friendly spots popping up in Spokane instead of the usual flood of chicken joints. Only downside is parking but hey, it's on Monroe Street, so that's kind of expected.

This was a rough visit…read more They had two large parties reserve a very large table inside and the entire patio outside on a very beautiful Friday evening. Which was a bummer, but not a big deal. We ended up sitting at the bar when the service was super slow. Luckily we weren't in a hurry. I ordered a margarita and my friend a blackberry Collin's. Bartender accidentally swapped our drinks. We got it figured out after we both tasted them and thought something was off. We started with the beet hummus. That was probably the best thing we ordered, but even that wasn't great. The hummus was lacking flavor. I ordered the sweet and spicy pork belly sandwich for my entree and it was... gross. The pork belly strips that were in it were basically really thick slices of bacon, not crispy at all, and SO SO FATTY. It was, awful. I was really disappointed. Fries were good though. The bartender asked if there was something wrong with the sandwich because I didn't want a box and only one bite. I told her I really just didn't like it. She took it off the bill without hesitation. Which was very kind and also makes me wonder if I'm not the first one to be disappointed in this sandwich. My friend got the lemon herb grilled chicken sandwich and she said it was "alright". It was a nice time out with a friend, but I probably won't go back. I will definitely go to Cascadia, their other restaurant though. That menu is amazing and never disappoints.

It was a bit loud inside, but honestly, that's totally normal and expected for a lively brewery! What really stood out right away was the ambiance and the decor--they've done a fantastic job making the space look great and welcoming. The Service: Absolutely 5 stars. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and constantly checked in on us to make sure we weren't missing a thing. You really can't ask for better hospitality. The Food: I ordered the Brisket Mac and Cheese. The mac and cheese itself was good, and the brisket was cooked nicely, but the dish was just a bit out of balance. The sauce and juices from the brisket were incredibly strong and completely overpowered the mac and cheese. If they dialed back the brisket juice a bit, it would be a perfect comfort dish. Overall, a great local spot with top-tier service and a really cool vibe. I'll definitely be back to try a few other things on the menu!
