Okay I get it, a Subway is a Subway. In general, they all taste the same. But I had one of the worst Subway experiences in my entire life at this one....Let's start out with this; I have been working in restaurants since I was 14 years old. I know how things work and how tough working in a food establishment can be, so I am never one to become upset with service or the quality of a meal, because I know what it's like to be in the shoes of the workers.
However, one night a neighbor of mine and I went to get some food and when we walked in, it was pretty busy, no problem, we were in no hurry. There were three people working, one on meats and bread, one at vegetables and one hanging out in back. The one doing vegetables took TEN minutes (yes we counted) to help one woman and her kids because they could not decide on what kind of kids meal subway they wanted. (While there were at least 12 other people in line with their sandwiches getting cold.) While the vegetable section worker tried to please the lady and her kids who could not make up their minds the meat and breads worker kept putting meat on sandwiches and putting them in the toaster without working on the sandwiches before it; leaving many of them to get cold. She did not go and try to catch up on at the vegetable section nor did the person in the back room come up to help out. My sandwich, (a meatball marinara) sat and got cold after the meatballs were put on it, and then again when it came out of the toaster.
Easily one of the worst Subway experiences and Subway sandwiches I've ever had. read more
