And aptly named Loosies seemed to fit the bill! This is a very small spot off the road... it when I walked in the staff was smiling and very welcoming...true midwestern warmth! I never ask for more queso bc I know that they will charge me double, but it is legit a drizzle of queso. Considering is $1.50 up charge the queso portion should be bigger. A Negroni or limoncello would've made more sense if they were going for Italian. So overall, the menu just seemed really confused. For appetizers we got calamari and cheese curds. Calamari was really good and it was a nice portion size. The cheese curds were also a hit! I got the Alfredo and added chicken because plain Alfredo on a menu is strange, and the pasta was great but the chicken was horribly overcooked. My spouse ordered the linguine alle Vongole. This was awful lol. My husband took one bite of the noodles and screwed up his face saying it tasted like straight up lemon juice. I took a bite and he wasn't kidding! I actually pulled up the menu later and it made no sense why it was so lemony but it was so bad that for the first time in our lives we sent a dish back! Our waitress was so sweet and understanding and took it off of our bill. She took care of it promptly and we really can't say enough good things about her. Overall, I think the menu needs a rewrite. This place isn't remotely Italian and they seem to be confused about what they are. The apps are decent and the space is really cute, so there's potential here they just need a new menu or a rebrand!
